hey no bumming out here! its a lb. it comes and goes, you'll be back on track in no time. there are times when we need to indulge! don't feel guilty about it! jut work it off. its out your system now. you ahve a right to ahve what you want when you wanted. the longer you hold back the worse the binge when you finally crack. so just go with the flow hommie.
 
I hate when i gain a pound though... its really frustrating. It makes me feel like a dumb ass for eating crappy. Ive been slacking lately though so its my own dumb butt fault!!! i need to get back into the strict eating routine. I know that im exercising well and keeping with it... but I just need to be better with the eating again!

I know what you mean. My little sister, from Florida, came to give my daughter a car this past weekend and I think the whole time she was here we ate at home once. After that we were at a resteraunt for the rest of the meals. I blew my diet out the door the min. she walked in the door.

So I may have a small rant. So there is this woman at the gym. Not a very big lady, not super skinny…. Just average id say. She insists on walking around with NO CLOTHES ON. Like… gets on the scale, takes a pee, digs her stuff out of her bag, walks around…. Etc. I am not a prude… I can handle people changing etc… but WHY DOES SHE NEED TO PARADE AROUND NUDE? I don’t do that to people…. I will change pants and stuff… but not flash my tits around…. Or my vag… or my ass crack!!!!!!

GEEEZ. It absolutely drives me nuts. ICK.
Yesterday was a decent day for eating…..
Breakfast- Special K with berries and skim milk, 2 coffees ( cream and splenda)
Snack- 90 cal special k bar

Lunch- Ham on light wheat bread , Naval Orange, bag of nuts
Snack- shredded mozzarella cheese

Dinner- very small portion of mashed potatos, a pork chop, and sauerkraut.
½ glass of 2 % milk

Anyways, this morning got up early again and got to the gym. I did 30 minutes on the cybex and burned 345 calories. Then I did 30 minutes on the Treadmill… burned about 270 more. I worked the arms today with pull ups, chest press, rows, and lat pulldowns. Also did my ab work out and it felt NICE to feel the burn!!!

Weight is still up a pound… but down two ounces from yesterday….. not sure what the deal is. Maybe its muscle?

Legs are VERY sore today…. need to stretch real good

my old gym was like that... except they were all older.. like in their 70s and 80s... it was like stepping into a weird nude nightmare... they would brush their teeth, sit around and chat, blowdry their hair.... put their makeup on, drinks shakes... all in the wrinkly buff :willy_nilly:

LMFAO!!! You know what though? Here's the thing girls; the ladies locker rooms at most gyms have always had a bit different level of privacy than the men's lockers. It is NOT uncommon to have all types of men wandering around nekkid throughout most men's locker rooms. Sorry girls, no stalls here!! we're expected to feel like this is normal...

And yes, all ages, so there's plenty of wrinkled saggy glory going on in there too...

i have def heard stories that men's locker rooms are worse - but they all do it to show off... the wrinkly women arent showing off, they are just feeling free. :rolleyes:

Anyways, got my measurements this morning. Went down in everything but my neck, forearm, and upper thigh. I am happy with that!

Didnt go to the gym this morning... needed the sleep. I packed my stuff to go tonight! :) Eating yesterday was so so. Had a really bad afternoon....
I seem to pick friends who suck lol ( my boyfriends words). Its like i befriend those who i think i can help. anyways, the one girl royal screwed me over yesterday so I was really bummed and pisssy.... so i pronounced last night light beer and mushroom pizza on the couch watching american idol and hockey night :0) hehe.

Anyways here was my food for yesterday:

Breakfast:
Coffee with Splenda and Cream
Cheerios w/ 1/2 pack of splenda and skim milk

Lunch:
Grilled chicken salad from McDonalds w/ 60 cal basalmic vinegar dressing
Unsweetened Iced Tea

Snackie: 2 small cookies.... well kind small... well medium? hehe :smilielol5: ( oatmeal rasin, sugar)

Dinner:
2 Slices of Mushroom Pizza
1.5 Miller Genuine drapht 64 calories, 2.4 fat beer hehe :drool5:


Anyways, been working on my abs lately... pleased with the progress.

Pictures attached of the progress since Feb. Feedback welcome... ways to enhance the abs, all that stuff. Im here to learn!!! :)

1st pic is Start of my working out, 2nd is in March, 3rd is April, and the 4th i took last night.... ( after my pizza and beer binge hehe oh well)

Man your progress is coming along so well, you ahve to be proud of yourself. so let me ask you this.... when you hit your goal what happens with you and WLF? i've wondered that about myself and i'm not sure yet. i guess i can stick around and provide support for those still on their journey, or i can be a selfish prick and go about my new life. anyway, just curios since you seem sooo close to being where you wanna be.

no way man! I will def me sticking around here regardless to first off encourage other peeps but also i wanna keep learning and not run into this again! It wont mean its over just cause i make that goal... ill be planning to tone and keep my body in shape!!!!:coolgleamA:

My ab workout is simple but it seems to work.

50 crunches ( feet flat on the floor)
25 crunches ( laying on left side back still flat)
25 crunches ( laying on right side back still flat)
50 crunches ( legs in air ankles crossed)
l10 Leg raises- alternate between ball between legs, then grab ball with hands and lower legs with no ball, feet together. Whole process counts as ONE REP.

( these super super work the lower abs which are hard to get otherwise!)

I also then get on an incline standing bench. I hold a 10 lb weight and you lean over the front of the bench ( sorry forget the name of these). I do 15 like that, 15 stand with my left him against the pad and do side bends, and then the other side, right hip against the pad, and do 15 also.

^^^ Those really work the "love handles" and allowed those to decrease pretty significantly!


cardio cardio cardio. Upping my cardio to an hour really helped my stomach fat to start to go away.


I really have quite a ways to go... but hopefully encouraged some.... and its motivating me... thank goodness for pics sometimes!!!
