Hello all!!!:seeya:
I wanted to start fresh with a new weightloss diary. I started one a few months ago and when I went on vacation… well it all ended lol. I do NOT see myself falling into that trap again. I started working out again full force on January 26th, 2009 and I am in the process of starting a whole new life style. I must say I am very excited to see where it takes me.

A lot has changed for me even in the three weeks I have been working out. Maybe I sound silly? I just know that it has really changed my attitude about a lot of things.Here are some of them:

My moods have been amazing… very happy… very upbeat. Things don’t seem to get be down as easily
I appreciate my loved ones a lot. For some reason I have been reflecting a lot during the day about how blessed I am to be where I am with the people I love around me and supporting me in my life
I ENJOY going to the gym. Its nuts… I am anxious all day to get there and get a nice run in and do my ab routines
I am DETERMINDED that I WILL succeed this time with meeting my goals. I will not let myself give up….


These are just a few things that in the last week. I am so excited and pumped. I have a very supportive family and friends.

Currently I am 148 Pounds. I am 22 years old and I am 5’2”. My target weight is 125 and I would like to be there by the beginning of July. I think that is reasonable. I have been watching my eating as well… I don’t like to call it a diet… but we all know that’s what it is.

Advice from all is welcome… I plan to be on here regularly… I want a success story to share with you all and encourage people like they have encouraged me!!!

Very proud of myself today. Typically i am off work at 5:00pm and then i head right to the gym after i am off, work out, and then come home to relax by 7:30pm.

Didnt get off until 7:15 today. Called my boyfriend after i got to my car and he informed me he was relaxing at home... watching tv:toetap05:

time to decide what to do. i REALLY WANTED to go home and hang out on the couch with him.... but thank goodnes..... my good sense kicked in and i was off to the gym!!!


I had a wonderful work out tonight and kicked some major butt!!! :blush5:

I can tell i am really serious this time around!!!!!! this is awesome. I will sleep great tonight after that work out...
 
Good job picking the gym over going home! I know those situations are hard, but if you can keep to it like that, you will be golden!
 
lost inches..... and had a nice little lunch treat...

Went to Subway today for lunch.
I had a ham and provolone wrap and the really low fat chips........


didnt realize that subway wraps were filled with more calories than the normal sub roll?!?!?!?!?!?!?


what the heck... its thinner... looks less appitizing lol..... thought for sure iw as being more healthy eating the wrap!!!!

anyways, after eating a luna bar for dinner last night, and special K for breakfast... i needed a little more for lunch because i was feeling pretty hungry. so i treated myself to a nice little subway wrap


I am very excited about my inches lost. Here at work, we measure each other every wednesday to see our inches and if we are making progress there. I actually lost almost everywhere over the last 3 weeks, however it was a little upsetting that from last wednesday to this wednesday, my chest went from 34.5 inches to 32 inches. The same lady measures me each week. this is the third week on this and she measured 34.5 week 1, 34 week 2 and this week.... after double checking..... i am at 32 inch chest.


HOLY MOLY. thank gooness for Victoria's Secret!!!!:beating:
 
haha.... its kind of hard to get encouragement here when i am really the only one hanging out on my diary thread lol...... i guess i gotta start posting more so people know who i am and give a crap about my progress! lol :dupe:
 
Wow.... I am extremely pumped! I weighed myself yesterday evening at the gym and i lost 2 lbs this week :cheers2:



I did however have a fabulous dinner last night to celebrate our valentines day... .we postponed it. So i had scallops, shrimp chicken and broccoli at red lobster...... i stayed within my calories so its all good.....


it was wonderful to have something so yummy this week... i had been very strict on my diet all week so this was quite a treat:drool5:

I know right? The freaking SUBWAY wraps are pa - ha - ck-ed with calories!
It's ridiculous.. :) I get the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich from there once in while..!

Well, I'll now be watching your progress!! I know it DOES get bad if you're the only one writing! haha...AND I'm the WORST with keep diaries etc...but I'm ONLY doing mine for the weightloss...

Alright then, I soon want to see your Before and After pics!!

i know the feeling of a lonely diary! check mine, it should motivate you! we can help each other!! Congrats on the weight loss! I will warn you though i am a gymaholic! I feel empty if i am not at the gym everyday. its the first thing i do everyday (in 90% of the cases) when i wake up. it started out hard, but after a while i felt like i needed this! the one good thing about being a gymaholic is that i don't have to count calories. i keep them in mind, but i work out sooooo much that it gets burn off. This week was really bad, but i am hoping to turn it around by monday when i weigh in. If you wnat to know my routine, let me know.

oh and one more thing. i saw your old thread (i don't know how i got sent there, i clicked on this one i was in the old one), but as far as seeing progress goes, don't count on it. its the equivalent of watching yourself get taller as a child growing up, or to a lesser extent literally watching an analogue clock hands move for one hour. in other words its too slow to notice. the best thing is to take a pic from front and side 1 every couple weeks and compare that way. you will always look the same to yourself, until you are past at least 25%-30% depending on your goals. also use clothes as a reference to your losses. i started out last year in a 54 inch sized pants. i can fit a 42 inch now. I look exactly the same to me, even this year with the 24 lbs lost.. it just takes a while. don't get discouraged.

Last night i went to a dinner theater with my family and PIGGED OUT. now, i do believe i was right within or more than likely above my daily calorie allowance. Let me tell ya though... my stomache felt TERRIBLE..........:ack2:


AND... now this morning i am dealing the terrible concequences. My belly feels bloated... i am other "stomach" issues if you know what i mean.....

and i am really dissapointed in myself for hogging down that food.


Back on the horse today. i was doing so well too.:nopity::cuss:
 
No worries! A bump in the track won't derail the whole train. And it looks like you've been doing really well. Keep up the great work. :D

Grats on the 2lb you lost this week, and uh... good luck with the "stomach issues." ;)
 
look at it his way, you just "shocked" your metabolism for the week, that's all. even if you feel you pigged out, added a little variation to your diet to keep you metabolism going. you most likely will burn through it. so no worries indeed. KEEP IT UPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!
 
Thanks all for your encouragement! I went to the gym yesterday morning because i just felt terrible. I couldnt belive that even with my huge pig out binge.... i lost 2 ounces since friday thursday!! HA. :) that was a relief.

Back on track though. going to breakfast this morning so i will behave!

yesterday when i worked out i am happy to say i added 10 more minutes to my cardio routine so i ran/walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes. felt nice!
 
see? i was right, youa re on the right track, we'll see how i do tomorrow. i am kinda worried, but not really i think i will be fine. haha. speaking of working out i still need to take a day off this month!!! i know i am crazy, but i feel sooo good after a nice workout.

People don't believe my age when I say I have no facebook/myspace/etc and I don't use the internet unless it is for something productive! haha..
Anyway, I'd always rather meet/call people... :)

How was your weekend apart from the pigging out bit? haha..it's OK once in while!...

I did pretty well actually...lol..I saw 120's for the first time on Sunday!! lol..but I wont change anything unless I see it 3 times consecutively - ANYWAY it was 129.8...hahaha..! :)

KEEP GOING girl!!!!!!! there is no other option! ;)

HELLO!!!!!

Happy Monday all!!! :) I am so excited to pound out another week of exercise and diet! I took a day off yesterday to just relax a bit and get housework done:puke:

Let me tell you- going to the gym during the week so much etc gets me TOTALLY out of my routine with laundry, cleaning, etc. my house was a wreck. The boyfriend is totally understanding though... after all most of it is his mess hehee.

Anyways in response to everyone: THANK YOU sooo soo much for the encouragement. Its awesome getting online to see the responses and comments... so nice!
Kureransu- Totally does feel so amazing after a work out. I think i may go alittle more often than i should lately... but it feels amazing. my mood is def better, my body feels amazing... I LOVE SORE ABS!!!!! if i cant sit up in the morning without a groan... i didnt work em enough hehe
Parokp02- I suppose ill cut you some slack... you are allowed to have a life outside this website i suppose hehe Congrats on the 120's!!!!!!! i cannot WAIT to get there!!!!! one day at a time though.
