Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

But it's back at it again because the weekend is O-V-E-R! Have a good time tonight with your family... don't skip kettle bell! I want to hear good news tomorrow morning, ok? :)
Ok I agree - only good things from here on out this week!! I won't be skipping kettle bell - I already skipped it Saturday and I'm still feeling guilty for it!
I agree with Sarah weekend is over and done with.....get back on the horse forget it happened!
Thanks Veronique!! Really if it wasn't for this site I would probably continue my bad eating today but I want to prove I can do it and make you all proud! Plus I hate being so negative in my posts and healthy eating bring positivity!

Ok so I just found out I have a baseball practice tonight and I really don't want to miss it since our first game is tomorrow night!! I haven't swung a baseball bat in years so I really need practice before the game! Should I just tell my friends and family to have a meeting without me at my house, lol! I know they wouldn't mind because it's my shower anyway and they don't want me to know everything or be involved in much of the planning but I feel bad telling them all to come over and then not being there, lol. Also I have golf tomorrow from 4:45 - 7:15 and then a baseball game at 8pm! I'm starting to think I might be too busy for baseball even though I wanted to play so bad. I found out the girls team plays twice a week and practice once a week so I"ll be busy like I hoped. Guess I should just be happy about all the extra exercising I will get! I'm super nervous for our game tomorrow especially if I can't get to practice tonight. I'll let you know tomorrow how it all went down!

I'm glad you decided to update us, I always feel like that if I don't feel like I did well, but it really puts things in perspective when you write it out. You didn't do what you planned but its okay, you have a busy week this week filled with activities and workouts and healthy food so lets work hard this week to have a good weigh-in. You are the master of turning your week around and kicking butt so you've got this don't worry. By the way I saw a 10 lb kettle bell this weekend and handed it to my sister and said this is what my online friend Lisa uses plus 8 more pounds!!! We couldn't believe it! You are one strong girl! Your my inspiration for sure and you will kick butt in P90X when you get it, I can tell. I hope everything goes well at practice today!

Thanks Janvier and I do plan to really turn it around this week! I really want it bad this time! That's so funny that you and others checked out the kettlebell weight! I really do feel like I'm getting stronger and it's so exciting because any other time I have tried to lose weight I never spent nearly as much time doing strength training and now I never want to stop! I love my muscles and it's so fun to flex and get my hunnie to check it out! He said something to me while I was on the treadmill the other day in a tank top that really surprised me. He said "look at those hot arms you have" at first I thought he was joking because he knows how much I hate my arms but he got really defensive and said he wasn't joking and I really liked it!


Ok so yesterday was a great day! It started off wrong - I stopped at Robin's on my way to work and got an everything bagel w cream cheese and a large cappuchino but after getting to work and reading all your updates and positivity about the week ahead I decided I needed to make the day right and move forward and not look back and try my hardest! I have 10 more sleeps until my wedding shower and 11 more sleeps until my bachelorette so I am going to aim for 10 perfect days! I have nothing planned except wedding appointments for the weekend ahead and I'm going to reach my goal of 140 in the next 10 days if it kills me! I really want this and I know how to do it so it's just a matter of doing and staying strong throughout!! Here's how yesterday worked out:
B 8am - everything bagel w cream cheese (9) & large cappuchino (6)
Snack - green tea and lots of water!
L #1 11:30 am (should have been breakfast) - ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds & 1/2 cup fresh blueberries.(3)
L #2 3:00 pm - veggie salad - greens, green onion & cucumber w ff tomato & oregano dressing (1) (not a very exciting salad but I was lazy the night before)
Exercise - 1 mile run on the treadmill in 10 min because I got to the gym early. 1 hr kettle bell class - there was a new guy filling in for the regular instructor and he really worked us! We did 200 skips on a skipping rope and then 20 two armed swings, 200 skips, 30 swings, 200 skips, 40 swings and then back down the piramind. We did three rounds and switched the swings with snatches and clean and jerks and instead of skipping the whole time he switched it to sit ups and burpees - I was a ball of sweat after and had to shower at the gym. Oh and guess what!!! I moved up to the 34 lb bell for all the two armed swings!!! I'm feeling it today!
D #1 6pm - tuna melt on 2 pieces WW whole wheat bread (1), 1/2 can tuna (1), sweet pickles, onino, light mayo (2) w 1 ff cheese slice (1) melted with a splash of hot sauce
Exercise - 1 1/2 baseball practice - playing catch, catching pop flies, batting, running after balls and a lot of standing in the field. The girls on my team aren't the friendliest - or maybe they just don't talk much but no one even introduced themselves to me or said hi when I showed up. They all looked 16-18 years old but I think I can keep up with all them. I'm super excited for our game tonight.
D #2 9:30 pm - veggie salad - mixed greens, green onions, cucumber, yellow peppers, raddish, shredded carrot, black olives, chick peas, dill seasoning, w balsamic vinegar & tsp olive oil.(2) (I made three salads so I have my lunch packed for the next two days)
Before bed taste in my mouth - 1 strawberry!
Ok so I was over by 6 but I'm sure I earned that in activity so it was a great day! Today is going to be perfect!
I have golf tonight from 4:45 - 7:15 and then I have to be at baseball for 7:45 and the game will probably go an hour and a half. I didn't bother getting up to do the treadmill this morning because I'm going to be tired after golf and baseball so I got some extra sleep. I plan to do it tomorrow though and Thurs and Fri to make it three mornings this week!! I'm determined to reach my goal before my bachelorette so it's time to put in some hard work!
I also packed my runners to go for a walk at lunch today thanks to Veronique! I'm feeling great about the week ahead!! Let's do it!

Way to pick it up after the breakfast yesterday! Your determination to get to 140 by your bachelorette party is great and really motivating. I want to push and keep strong with you! My plans this weekend are to work and babysit so I won't really have time to party anyway. I'm going to do this with you!!! I will write down EVERYTHING I eat too! Let's do this! :D

Good job on turning your day around after that breakfast, you did a great job burning it off with your workout! I love bagels too, have you ever tried the weight watchers bagels? They are only 140 calories and are really good! You should try them, they would be a great alternative for your everything bagel cravings.

I am so happy that your hunnie commented on your hot arms! What a great confidence boost! Are arms are going to be so stunning in your wedding dress! He is going to be all over you lol.

I am so excited that your bachelorette party is so soon! You must be sooo excited. You can get to 140 by then for sure, you know what it takes and you HAVE what it takes to get there. You've got this for sure and you will be looking gorgeous! Its time for focus and dedication and you can do it, I know it. That's awesome I can count you in the next 10 days! I'm feeling really good about it! The league we are in is called fast ball but it's with a big soft ball but the pitches come fast. I'm really excited but it's raining now so hopefully it stops soon!

Thanks Janvier as always!! I haven't tried the WW bagels but I should pick some up and put them in the freezer for when I want one. Having cream cheese around my house is almost as bad as peanut butter so I never buy it. Pretty much anything bad in my house doesn't stand a chance so I don't know about having bagels in my reach either. One day I think when I maintaining I will try to work them in - and peanut butter again too! I miss it a lot.
You are right it is time for focus and dedication and I know I can do it! I just know I can.

So it's raining here now and I didn't get to go for a walk at lunch and I'm really hoping it stops for golf and baseball. If not I won't let it get me down and I will find a class to take at the gym or maybe go for a run in the rain - it's still really warm out. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow but I promise I will only have good things to report!!
 
Over here it is kind of on the cool side but no rain and I still didn't get to walk at lunch....I have to stop chips from comming into my house, I have a hard time to controle myself with those! Good job on the work outs yesterday and I am hoping that the girls on your team warm up to you!!! Hopfully the sun is shining and you get to golf and play baseball!

I am so proud and happy for you!!! I love the fact that you are on a baseball team now. That's SO COOL!!! Oh well, if the girls there are not that welcoming. It's the age bracket sometimes, and maybe they are just intimidated by you as well, cause you do have some GUNS on ya woman! hahah ;)

As well, CONGRATS on your new low, and CONGRATS on moving up in weight in the kettle ball. Damn, pretty soon you'll be swinging toddlers around in the air for an extra kick! haha...;) They are pretty heavy. I would suggest a 5 year old. HAHAH! :D!

I love the 10 perfect days idea. I think this is something you can absolutely accomplish too! Its going to be worth every skipping every SINGLE craving when those important days/nights come around.

I have to stop chips from comming into my house, I have a hard time to controle myself with those!
I can't control myself around temptation very well either - I ask my hunnie to hide all his treats and when he really wants chips I ask him to eat them in a different room - even hearing the crunching would make me want them!

What does the hubby say? Is he inspired by you as well? I mean, it's kind of obvious with all his new ACTIVITIES going on.....he doesn't want to get left behind. LOL!!! Gotta love it! :)

Thanks Alta - it's always great to hear from you and you always make me laugh and smile! Hunnie is noticing more and more - especially when he gives me a butt slap - he always looks at me and says - ohhh it's getting so hard! The last couple times we got dressed up to go out he mentioned I was looking great. He is inspired a little bit but only on the exercise front - I still can't get him to eat very many salads and he still always goes for the junk. I think I am pretty determined this year - all because of the wedding I'm sure. I can't wait to get professional pics taken of me that day when I'm at my goal weight! The timing just couldn't be any perfect and I'm so glad I started trying again last year instead of waiting till a couple months before the big day!

Ok so yesterday was a perfect day!! Even though it rained and I didn’t get to go on a walk at lunch and didn’t get to go to baseball it was still a great day! Here’s how it looked;
B- ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds & ½ cup fresh strawberries (3)
Snack – mint green tea
L – big veggie salad – same as last night w olive oil and feta dressing (4)
Snack – WW chocolate protein shake made w water (1)
Exercise – golfed 5 holes and then the rain was coming down too hard so we walked back to the car and got a rain check.
D – 4 oz chicken breast baked in the oven w chicken broth & spices (4), 1 cup brown beans in tomato sauce (6)
Ok so since it was raining I assumed baseball was cancelled and went to the gym!
Exercise – 38 min treadmill (3.5 miles), 11 min rowing machine, good stretch.
Snack – decaf green tea w lemon, cherry activia dessert (2)
So 20 points total which is what I’m allowed! Plus I earned some activity points to make up some damage control from the weekend!
I got up this morning and exercised too!!
I’m feeling so good about the next 9 days and my weigh-in on Friday! I already liked what the scale said today and finally feel like I got all that salt out of my system!
I have lots of work to do today so won’t get to visit much – happy hump day everyone! I’m loving this week so far!

Yes more people to encourage me to keep it up!! We can do it - I had a weak moment last night but didn't binge and still feeling great to keep it going! I'm pumping myself up for the weekend too - I want it to be the best yet! Then the next weekend won't be so good :drool5:.

Ok so yesterday was a decent day – the night time snacking got the best of me but if I add my activity points in I wasn’t over my points. Here’s how it looked:
Exercise – 15 min treadmill (1.2 miles), 60 squats, 20 lunges each leg, 3 sets of 12 push-ups and pull ups on the stability ball, 15 leg raises each leg, stretch
B – ff activia yogurt w ½ cup fresh blueberries (Darn I forgot to pack the bran buds) (2)
Snack – mint green tea
L – big veggie salad – green onions, green grapes, radish, yellow pepper, cucumber, black olives, chick peas w ff tomato, oregano dressing (3)
Snack – WW chocolate protein shake made w water (1)
D – ½ sweet potato baked as fries w olive oil & ketchup (4), veggie salad w green onions, green grapes, radish, orange pepper, cucumber, black olives, tomato, cheddar cheese (4), turkey breast chopped into bite size pieces (2), tsp olive oil & balsamic vinegar (1)
Exercise – 1 hr spin class – 55 min on bike, 5 min stretch
Snacks – decaf green tea w lemon, cherry activia dessert (2), left over salad from dinner w salsa & hot chilly sauce (4), hunnie granola bar before bed – my tiredness got the best of me (3)
So 26 points total but I think I earned 6 points with my activity so overall it was a great day. It would have been perfect if I would have stopped after the activia dessert.
I woke up this morning and felt great and the sun was already out at 6am so I decided to go for a run!!! I warmed up 4 min on the treadmill because it was still a little chilly outside and stretched and then took off and ran 5km in 31 min – not as good as usual but I think I’m slower first thing in the morning. It was so peaceful and hardly any traffic on the roads. I loved and it and hope to do that more often – it made me in a great mood this morning! Today is going to be a perfect day! Last chance workout at kettle bell tonight and then weigh-in tomorrow! I was up this morning 3 pounds since yesterday but I think it might have been all the salt from the salad dressings and food right before bed. I’m going to watch the salt today and drink lots of water! Have a great day forum friends!!
