You are the master of turning your week around and kicking butt so you've got this don't worry. By the way I saw a 10 lb kettle bell this weekend and handed it to my sister and said this is what my online friend Lisa uses plus 8 more pounds!!! We couldn't believe it! You are one strong girl! Your my inspiration for sure and you will kick butt in P90X when you get it, I can tell. I hope everything goes well at practice today!
Thanks Janvier and I do plan to really turn it around this week! I really want it bad this time! That's so funny that you and others checked out the kettlebell weight! I really do feel like I'm getting stronger and it's so exciting because any other time I have tried to lose weight I never spent nearly as much time doing strength training and now I never want to stop! I love my muscles and it's so fun to flex and get my hunnie to check it out! He said something to me while I was on the treadmill the other day in a tank top that really surprised me. He said "look at those hot arms you have" at first I thought he was joking because he knows how much I hate my arms but he got really defensive and said he wasn't joking and I really liked it!
Ok so yesterday was a great day! It started off wrong - I stopped at Robin's on my way to work and got an everything bagel w cream cheese and a large cappuchino but after getting to work and reading all your updates and positivity about the week ahead I decided I needed to make the day right and move forward and not look back and try my hardest! I have 10 more sleeps until my wedding shower and 11 more sleeps until my bachelorette so I am going to aim for 10 perfect days! I have nothing planned except wedding appointments for the weekend ahead and I'm going to reach my goal of 140 in the next 10 days if it kills me! I really want this and I know how to do it so it's just a matter of doing and staying strong throughout!! Here's how yesterday worked out:
B 8am - everything bagel w cream cheese (9) & large cappuchino (6)
Snack - green tea and lots of water!
L #1 11:30 am (should have been breakfast) - ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds & 1/2 cup fresh blueberries.(3)
L #2 3:00 pm - veggie salad - greens, green onion & cucumber w ff tomato & oregano dressing (1) (not a very exciting salad but I was lazy the night before)
Exercise - 1 mile run on the treadmill in 10 min because I got to the gym early. 1 hr kettle bell class - there was a new guy filling in for the regular instructor and he really worked us! We did 200 skips on a skipping rope and then 20 two armed swings, 200 skips, 30 swings, 200 skips, 40 swings and then back down the piramind. We did three rounds and switched the swings with snatches and clean and jerks and instead of skipping the whole time he switched it to sit ups and burpees - I was a ball of sweat after and had to shower at the gym. Oh and guess what!!! I moved up to the 34 lb bell for all the two armed swings!!! I'm feeling it today!
D #1 6pm - tuna melt on 2 pieces WW whole wheat bread (1), 1/2 can tuna (1), sweet pickles, onino, light mayo (2) w 1 ff cheese slice (1) melted with a splash of hot sauce
Exercise - 1 1/2 baseball practice - playing catch, catching pop flies, batting, running after balls and a lot of standing in the field. The girls on my team aren't the friendliest - or maybe they just don't talk much but no one even introduced themselves to me or said hi when I showed up. They all looked 16-18 years old but I think I can keep up with all them. I'm super excited for our game tonight.
D #2 9:30 pm - veggie salad - mixed greens, green onions, cucumber, yellow peppers, raddish, shredded carrot, black olives, chick peas, dill seasoning, w balsamic vinegar & tsp olive oil.(2) (I made three salads so I have my lunch packed for the next two days)
Before bed taste in my mouth - 1 strawberry!
Ok so I was over by 6 but I'm sure I earned that in activity so it was a great day! Today is going to be perfect!
I have golf tonight from 4:45 - 7:15 and then I have to be at baseball for 7:45 and the game will probably go an hour and a half. I didn't bother getting up to do the treadmill this morning because I'm going to be tired after golf and baseball so I got some extra sleep. I plan to do it tomorrow though and Thurs and Fri to make it three mornings this week!! I'm determined to reach my goal before my bachelorette so it's time to put in some hard work!
I also packed my runners to go for a walk at lunch today thanks to Veronique! I'm feeling great about the week ahead!! Let's do it!
