Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

Wow you look amazing in that pic!1 I think your aunt is just jealous, it could be that she see's you sticking to your goal, you didn't like something you changed it and you are being successful! Even if she is fit doesn't mean that she has control of her life the way you do! Forget her and your hunny is right you put all that hard work in so you should love yourself, if annyone has a problem then they can just look the other way, you are doing this for you not them!!! Be fit and heck with the nay sayers!!!

Definitely Nice guns!!! ....Loving it. You know, Lisa, like everyone said....you shouldn't care about what they all say, ...and you shouldn't let it derail you from your goal. That has happened to me SO MANY times....where people hate on your "new goal" and because you let what they all say get into your head...you get STUCK and even worse...go backwards. All of a sudden...then come the compliments again, and then comes the fat back.

People love to see people go backwards. It sucks. YOU LOOK FANTASTIC! Keep going!!! Don't stopppp....!!!! You are so inspiring!!! Forget their comments!

you look fantastic!!! THOSE MUSCLES.....WOWOWOW!!!

Re: your aunt's comment. don't let it get to you. some people have this annoying habit of commenting without thinking how it may sound. if you gain weight they will comment, if you lose weight they will comment.

btw, i love the kind of food you eat. and splitting lunch is two different sections is actually a great idea. will try that.

can i say again how FAANTAAASTIIIC you look?:hurray::hurray::hurray:

Looking good, lady :) I agree with everyone else- what the hell does your aunt know! Keep up the focus, as you totally inspire us, and get where YOU want to be.

Have a great day :)

I'm sorry you're aunt made you feel that way! I totally agree with what everyone else has said so won't go into a big rant... but I have to say, you look totally AMAZING!!! Loving the strong arms!!! Go the lady guns!!! :coolgleamA:

WOW thank you for all the comments!!
Janvier - you are totally right and I can't believe someone said that to you! How rude! Some woman should be more proud to be woman and support their own kind!
MJ - thank you - I have never thought of my arms as "nice and muscular" and it's a nice change - now if only I could get that look without flexing!
Veronique - Thank you for reminding me that it's all about me in this journey and making myself proud!
Alta - don't worry I for sure will not let it derail me from my goal! I'm going all the way this time!! Thank you darling!!
Sarah - you have nothing to be jealous of! I bet if you flexed in a pic you would be really surprised you have some big guns too, lol!!
Juni - thank you thank you thank you - I think my head just inflated a bit!
Jess - so glad I can inspire people - everyone on here inspires me to keep going every day! Thanks again!
Luzdafuzz - thank you and I am feeling strong so I'm glad my body is starting to look the way I feel!

Thanks again everyone - I'm feeling great today and your comments really make me feel better about my arms - it's crazy how insecure I am about them! I love it that I'm finally making steps to get past that and may actually wear a tank top this summer for the first time in my life!
Yesterday was a great day and Tuesdays usually aren't because it's jam night for my hunnie and that means me alone in the house for 4-5 hours which usually results in a big binge and me feeling crappy Wednesday mornings. Here's how it went:
B - 1 cup fresh strawberries, ff yogurt & 1/3 cup all bran buds
L#1 - 1 whole hard boiled egg, 1 egg white w cayanne pepper
Exercise - 3km walk at lunch quick paced
L#2 - 1 cup frozen blueberries w regular instant oatmeal
Exercise - planned to go to the gym but it was so nice out when I got off work I decided on a run - ran 10 km in 58 min including my stretch after 5 min! I wished I had a watch to see what time it was when I got to 5km because I felt like I beat a record but as soon as I got to 8km my legs were killing and I pushed through it - I could barely walk up and down the stairs at home after.
Snack - Banana
D - 4 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast marinated in dijon mustard & bbq sauce w 2 garden tomato's sliced w salt.
Snacks - 1 point WW cookies & cream bar, 1 nature valley chocolate granola bar (they have 2 in the pack and I only had one!).
I finished under my points today and that never happens on Tuesdays!!
Woke up and did 1 mile on the treadmill because my legs are still really heavy! Think I might take the night off exercise!
Have my weigh-in just before lunch so I will be back to update! I was too scared to get on the scale this morning so I have no clue where I stand!

Took some measurements again this morning too.
Feb 11/Today (April 21)
Chest - 36 / 34 (down 2)
Waist (smallest) - 30.5/ 28 (down 2.5)
Waist (bbutton)- 35 / 31 1/2 (down 3.5)
Hips - 39 / 37 (down 2)
Thigh - 23 / 21 (down 2)
Calf -14.5/ 14 (down .5)
Arm -12.5/ 11.5 (down 1)
Be back after lunch! Happy Hump Day!

Woohooo!!!! Great day there!!!!

You are inspiring me!!!...Morning Workout Day 1:COMPLETED!!! Thought of you fighting for it too!!!! That kept me going!! WOohooooooO!!!! xoxoxo

Hey beautiful lady :) Ignore your aunt...My grandparents were the ones who convinced me I was fat and the last time they saw me they complained I was looking "gaunt" and tried to stuff me with cake. Some people are just never happy ;) Cant please everyone and you are pleasing yourself. You are doing this for you, not anyone else. You are a true inspiration to me x

Thought of you fighting for it too!!!! That kept me going!! WOohooooooO!!!! xoxoxo[/U][/B]
Good job Alta - glad I can push you even when I'm not there!!

You had a great weekend and a great week so far no reason why you can't see great results!
You would think!
Hey beautiful lady :) You are a true inspiration to me x
Thanks so much Sunflower - that is why I keep posting!! Pay back for all the inspiration I get from reading yours too!!

146.2 - so close to 145!! Guess I'm going to have to wait for that until next week! I'm going hard again this week - it's getting harder to get a good loss - evens out to approx. 1 pound a week. Once I get the weekends more under control I should be losing more! Going to keep pushing - one day at a time! Since February 18th I have lost 18.4 pounds so I'm really proud of that!

Hi Lisa,

You look amazing in your pic! Great arms! You should have a tank top in every colour this summer! You may have not made it to 145 yet but you had a loss and thats great! You have been doing SO well this week-not to mention how well you did last weekend- and I know you will continue to do well so you will be at 145 and below in no time! That is incredible- 18.4 lbs since February! I am so happy that you are proud of that, that is a huge accomplishment! I am so proud of you! And only 11 lbs more to go? Thats so exciting! You've got this, keep working hard!

146 is Amazing!!!!!!! YES!!!!!

....you are SOOO CLOSE....OMG!!!! Get ittttttt!!!! Warriors aren't born,...they are MADE!!! ....and you my friend, have been sculpted!! NICE!!!!!

I definitely see the definition in the new arm pic. You are doing awesome and I agree with the others that you are going to look so hot walking down that aisle. As for your aunt, she will get used to the new and improved fit you. When I fit into a new pair of jeans the other day I said I was happy and would be skinny soon. My youngest said "no, you are supposed to be fat." That is the only way he has seen me so that is what he is used to, same goes for your aunt! Keep up the great work girlie!

Yay! Congrats on the loss! 1 pound is great! You have plenty of time to meet your goal before your wedding... so if the weight doesn't come off as fast as you'd like, so be it!!! Slow and steady wins the race, right? :) Let's finish this week off strong now!!

Janvier - Yes 11 pounds to go! It's unreal to actually think about since I have been working for it since 2003!!!
Alta- thank you it is so close yet it feels so far away!
Disneymom - that is so cute your son said that and I know what you mean! Thank you for visiting!
Thanks Isabel! - for visiting too!!
Sarah - you are right - slow and steady will win the race and with 14 weeks left as long as I get one pound each week with the possibility of a small slip I should still make it!

Wow 14 weeks and a couple days left till the wedding!! It's getting so close! Tonight I have a couple friends and family coming over to help plan the shower and get the invitations ready to send out. I was supposed to spend the night cleaning my house but I ended up falling asleep at 8:30pm while watching ANTM and didn't get up till 10:30pm when my hunnie got back from hockey!! I was still so tired I just crawled up to bed and passed right back out! My legs were still really sore so I didn't feel guilty not getting a work out in but I felt really guilty I didn't get my house clean. Some of my family that's coming over has never seen my new house so I have to clean everything because they will want a tour! So I woke up this morning the same time I do to do the treadmill but had to get some cleaning done so I got busy and still felt better than not doing any work out before work. I still have to vacuum so I might not get a work out in after work either because they are all coming right after dinner. That stresses me out a bit because I hate taking two days off in a row from exercise. Plus everyone wants to sample the wedding wine tonight and my mom will probably bring over snacks - I just need to stay focused and watch my calories if I can't bust a sweat! I might try to get off a little early and do the treadmill for 30 minutes at least. Anyway yesterday was a good day and I stayed within my points, here's how it looked:
Exercise - 15 min treadmill (1 mile) - better than nothing I guess!
B - protein shake, ff activia yogurt
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - left over stir fry veggies and turkey breast
D - 1/2 can tomato & rice soup, 2 pieces WW whole wheat bread w tuna, green onion, sweet pickle, little mayo open faced & melted w 1 slice ff cheese
Snacks - s.f chocolate pudding cup, 2 vegetable crackers w 2 thin slices hot genoa.
I was in a big time snack mood last night and if I wouldn't have fallen asleep on the couch I probably would have snacked a lot more so I'm pretty glad I did! My legs are still a little sore today but it's arm day so I'm hoping my family doesn't stay late and I can get a little arm workout in before bed.
I have lots to do at work today and someone already went home sick so I won't get a chance to browse diaries today - hopefully I can catch up tomorrow. Have a good day everyone!

Heyy! sound sounds like you have a lot going on on your end. its always hard to let a couple of days go by without getting a workout in...especially when you have a solid routine going. but its not like you are just sitting around. housework is pretty exhausting!

keep ur positive attitude, being esp careful of what u eat when u know u probably wont get to exercise is great!! you are going to lose those last 11 pounds! like you said you have 14 weeks to do it! u can do it!!

Hey don't feel bad about missing a work out... after all diet counts the most! So just try to stay away from the snacks tonight... good luc with your cleaning and have a nice time tonight :) I'll chat with ya tomorrow! Weigh in.. eeek!!!
~ Sarah

Hey Lisa,

I agree with the comments above, don't worry too much about not getting your workouts in, your diet it key and you did great with it yesterday so keep that going today. There may be wine and snacks around to tempt you but your strong and your will power is definitley getting better and better each week so just try to keep that going, and if you do indulge a little those hard core workouts you do will kick those snacks to the curb. I don't think there is anything that can hold you back at this point! I hope you have fun!
