Everytime I read your diary, I think about that kettle ball thing, it sounds fun. I don't know if my gym offers it, but I'm going to check into it just to see what it's about
Kettle Bell is super fun - I think mostly because it's so different from anything else I am doing or have ever done. It's also very intense and I always feel like I get the best workout. It's very tough at the beginning but if you stick with it it gets easier and the pain isn't as bad the more you go. I'm still sore from Monday because I took two weeks off!
I have found a new late night snack that I love. They're fudgesicles by Popsicle (this is the brand). They're sugar free and are only 40 calories. One is 0pts and 2 is just 1 point. They are delicious and they take care of my sweet tooth.
Yummm I'm going to have to look for those. I have a feeling we won't have them - only because the US always has better low cal stuff but I will look for sure! Thanks so much for the idea!
I love that we can keep eachother in mind and keep eachother motivated.
I love it too and really if I wouldn't have told you I was going to workout during the show I would have stayed on the couch and probably got in to more snacks so thank you! I wish I could have done the treadmill longer but my legs were so sore from kettle bell. Your long workouts always motivate me! I do feel like I'm back in the game and as always loving the feeling! Now I just have to keep the momentum going!
Stay strong this weekend, you'll be much happier if you do. Just remember, we are all struggling through the weekend with you.

Ok so yesterday was good. I made a little slip in snack #2 but I was proud of myself for stopping after that. Here's how it looked:
B - ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds & 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (3)
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea (0)
L - big salad - spinach leaves, carrot, tomato, green onion w ff sundried tomato & oregano dressing (1)
Snack - WW chocolate protein shake made with water (1)
Exercise - did some cleaning and dishes
D - 1/2 cup baked brown beans in tomato sauce (3), 4 oz bbq boneless pork chop w spices (3), home made yam fries - chopped yam w olive oil, dill & garlic salt - baked and eaten w ketchup (4)
Exercise - 10 km bike ride, more cleaning and laundry.
Snack #1 - sm veggie salad - iceberg lettuce, carrots, green onions, cucumber, black olives, chick peas w balsamic vinegar & tsp olive oil (2)
Snack #2 - ok so hunnie came home from hockey and it was 10:30 pm and I was watching a show till 11 and then going to bed. He brought down a whole box of chocolate chip cookies and a huge glass of milk and started eating them one after the other right in front of me. At first I said to myself ok I have points left to have one so I'm just going to have one. It was so good and as soon as it was gone I wanted another one. I asked him to look at the calories and went to figure out how many points they were. 3 points for 2 so I had another one. I really didn't want to stop - I could have ate the whole box but I thought to myself - ok Lisa you went over your points yesterday and you really didn't work out that much today so just STOP! By the time I talked myself out of another my hunnie had finished the whole box! So I was pretty proud of myself for only having 2 but really I shouldn't even of had one!
So points total 20 which is exactly what I am allowed - I think I just felt guilty about them because I know they are not healthy and I could of had another bowl of salad or something which would have been a better choice. Also just having one opened up the cravings for sugar and I was doing fine before that. I was just so happy I went to bed and didn't go for the chocolate covered granola bars I normally would have after starting with the sugar. baby steps. My hunnie apologized after for bringing them down and eating them right in front of me - he knows my will power is weak when it's right in my face and he's making yumm noises as he eats them!
So my sister thinks she will make it in this weekend which is really exciting. I'm going to pick her up from the airport after work tomorrow and she is going to spend the weekend with me.
Friday night we are going for dinner and drinks with some of her friends from town that she doesn't see often. I offered to drive so I won't drink much - maybe just a glass of wine with dinner. I also plan to go on the website to where we are going and check out the nutritional info so I make a good choice.
Saturday she is going to her mother in laws camp and I am going to Kettle Bell and then visiting my maid of honour - hopefully go for a light walk with her 9 mth old. Saturday night me and my sister are going to stay in and watch a movie.
Sunday we are going to wake up early and drive to Duluth for some shopping. Hopefully get lots of walking in because I don't imagine working out when I get home after driving all day. I'll be dropping my sister off at my parents and then my bridesmaid is going to come over and spend the night with me.
Monday hunnie gets back from fishing so I will probably get a good workout in and pick up some groceries for the week (if we have any money left after shopping in Duluth - oh my priorities!) and get to bed early!
Tuesday back to the grind.
My sister is working hard right now to fit into the bridesmaid dress she ordered so I am going to warn her ahead of time that we are going to be good!! I think with hunnie gone I will have more motivation and will power. I really want to reach my goal of 140 while my mom is still at WW.
Today is going to be another good day! Weigh-in tomorrow morning!! I know I'm not going to be able to concentrate at work tomorrow with the excitement about the weekend coming.
Oh one more thing - I woke up before work to work out today! I did the BL cardio max dvd - just the first 25 minutes but I was sweating more than I would have on the treadmill so I was excited. Also have my gym bag packed to go after work! Tomorrow I plan to workout in the am too because I'm picking my sister up after work and I don't imagine she will want to go to the gym with me. I think they charge something ridiculous like $15 for the day or to take 1 class - it should be $7 or even $5 in my mind.
