Our lawn mower came with the house and is from the 1970's! We have to boost the battery every time we use it and every now and then it spits up or has a big jump and just takes off - it's also really hard to stop once you get it going so I always leave it for hunnie to handle! I would probably end up kicking it and going out and buying a new one if I had to deal with it!
 
Hey there, you sound like you are having a good week, way to go! Everytime I read your diary, I think about that kettle ball thing, it sounds fun. I don't know if my gym offers it, but I'm going to check into it just to see what it's about, that's when I can get in there! Going for a walk with your bridesmaid will be good, you won't even know your exercising probably from talking about your exciting event (wedding) coming up. I'm giddy for you MissLady. Everything sounds great! Keep up the good work. I have found a new late night snack that I love. They're fudgesicles by Popsicle (this is the brand). They're sugar free and are only 40 calories. One is 0pts and 2 is just 1 point. They are delicious and they take care of my sweet tooth.
 
Exercise - wasn't feeling like exercising but remembered I told Janvier I would bust it out during BL and then as soon as they started the Marathon I got on the treadmill. Only did 15 min (1.2 miles) followed by a long stretch and some push-ups and abs (on the BOSU) - total 30 min.


Lisa that made me smile ear to ear lol! I love that we can keep eachother in mind and keep eachother motivated. Tuesdays are always my long workout days thanks to the BL, I don't know what I will do when the season ends. You are doing really great this week and I am so excited that you found a gym friend! I hope she goes back to class and the two of you really hit it off, it would be so great for you to have someone who likes to go to the gym and who could relate to you. You sound like your back in the game and ready to keep working hard and losing that last bit of weight and I couldn't be happier for you. I cried hard too during the BL, the marathon was SO emotional and I felt heart broken for Daris. I love Ali too!! I was so excited that she was there for Ashley, she is such a huge inspiration. Keep up the positivity this week and over the weekend, you are amazing!
 
Finally caught up on your diary. Grats for having such a great week! I hope that girl comes back to your kettle ball class, it would be fun to have someone to work out with. Stay strong this weekend, you'll be much happier if you do. Just remember, we are all struggling through the weekend with you.

Kettle Bell is super fun - I think mostly because it's so different from anything else I am doing or have ever done. It's also very intense and I always feel like I get the best workout. It's very tough at the beginning but if you stick with it it gets easier and the pain isn't as bad the more you go. I'm still sore from Monday because I took two weeks off!

I love it too and really if I wouldn't have told you I was going to workout during the show I would have stayed on the couch and probably got in to more snacks so thank you! I wish I could have done the treadmill longer but my legs were so sore from kettle bell. Your long workouts always motivate me! I do feel like I'm back in the game and as always loving the feeling! Now I just have to keep the momentum going!

Ok so yesterday was good. I made a little slip in snack #2 but I was proud of myself for stopping after that. Here's how it looked:
B - ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds & 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (3)
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea (0)
L - big salad - spinach leaves, carrot, tomato, green onion w ff sundried tomato & oregano dressing (1)
Snack - WW chocolate protein shake made with water (1)
Exercise - did some cleaning and dishes
D - 1/2 cup baked brown beans in tomato sauce (3), 4 oz bbq boneless pork chop w spices (3), home made yam fries - chopped yam w olive oil, dill & garlic salt - baked and eaten w ketchup (4)
Exercise - 10 km bike ride, more cleaning and laundry.
Snack #1 - sm veggie salad - iceberg lettuce, carrots, green onions, cucumber, black olives, chick peas w balsamic vinegar & tsp olive oil (2)
Snack #2 - ok so hunnie came home from hockey and it was 10:30 pm and I was watching a show till 11 and then going to bed. He brought down a whole box of chocolate chip cookies and a huge glass of milk and started eating them one after the other right in front of me. At first I said to myself ok I have points left to have one so I'm just going to have one. It was so good and as soon as it was gone I wanted another one. I asked him to look at the calories and went to figure out how many points they were. 3 points for 2 so I had another one. I really didn't want to stop - I could have ate the whole box but I thought to myself - ok Lisa you went over your points yesterday and you really didn't work out that much today so just STOP! By the time I talked myself out of another my hunnie had finished the whole box! So I was pretty proud of myself for only having 2 but really I shouldn't even of had one!
So points total 20 which is exactly what I am allowed - I think I just felt guilty about them because I know they are not healthy and I could of had another bowl of salad or something which would have been a better choice. Also just having one opened up the cravings for sugar and I was doing fine before that. I was just so happy I went to bed and didn't go for the chocolate covered granola bars I normally would have after starting with the sugar. baby steps. My hunnie apologized after for bringing them down and eating them right in front of me - he knows my will power is weak when it's right in my face and he's making yumm noises as he eats them!
So my sister thinks she will make it in this weekend which is really exciting. I'm going to pick her up from the airport after work tomorrow and she is going to spend the weekend with me.
Friday night we are going for dinner and drinks with some of her friends from town that she doesn't see often. I offered to drive so I won't drink much - maybe just a glass of wine with dinner. I also plan to go on the website to where we are going and check out the nutritional info so I make a good choice.
Saturday she is going to her mother in laws camp and I am going to Kettle Bell and then visiting my maid of honour - hopefully go for a light walk with her 9 mth old. Saturday night me and my sister are going to stay in and watch a movie.
Sunday we are going to wake up early and drive to Duluth for some shopping. Hopefully get lots of walking in because I don't imagine working out when I get home after driving all day. I'll be dropping my sister off at my parents and then my bridesmaid is going to come over and spend the night with me.
Monday hunnie gets back from fishing so I will probably get a good workout in and pick up some groceries for the week (if we have any money left after shopping in Duluth - oh my priorities!) and get to bed early!
Tuesday back to the grind.
My sister is working hard right now to fit into the bridesmaid dress she ordered so I am going to warn her ahead of time that we are going to be good!! I think with hunnie gone I will have more motivation and will power. I really want to reach my goal of 140 while my mom is still at WW.
Today is going to be another good day! Weigh-in tomorrow morning!! I know I'm not going to be able to concentrate at work tomorrow with the excitement about the weekend coming.
Oh one more thing - I woke up before work to work out today! I did the BL cardio max dvd - just the first 25 minutes but I was sweating more than I would have on the treadmill so I was excited. Also have my gym bag packed to go after work! Tomorrow I plan to workout in the am too because I'm picking my sister up after work and I don't imagine she will want to go to the gym with me. I think they charge something ridiculous like $15 for the day or to take 1 class - it should be $7 or even $5 in my mind.
Anyway week is almost over - I'm so excited. Have a great day!

Oh Gosh!!! I know exactly what it's like when temptation is right there in your face. My hunnie does the SAME YUM noises ALL THE TIME!...and when he sees commercials. Oh brother.

He always gets these cravings, and I'm taken down under by them too! Good luck on weigh in tomorrow! You are doing great!...And that is a lot to charge for ONE class. Psh! ...no wonder people don't want to go. Can't wait to be at your weight!!!! So proud of you!!!
 
My fiance is guilty too :/ He will get bbq ribs, chicken wings, cookies, etc... EVERYTHING I CANNOT HAVE, BUT LOVE... I am always really good, but it does give me cravings and I get mad at him and say "So, I thought you were staying away from carbs" or "Do you want to lose weight before Florida in July?" and he usually goes to the gym right after haha. :p

OMG that's funny. The other day, when I was in the convenient store, I wanted a RED VELVET cupcake and from the other side of the store,...my bf looked at me and shook his head and PUFFED OUT HIS CHEEKS into balls. LOL. That was all I needed to put the cake down!!!! LOL!!

Congratulations on another great week, Lisa. I wish I could have at least one good week like you do. I am sure you are going to see a big loss tomorrow at the weigh-in. Keeping my fingers crossed.

And good work stopping at just two cookies. I had a cc cookies binge myself yesterday. I was at a meeting and they put chips ahoy in front of me. It didn't help that I was already craving something sweet, but the yucky thing is I finished the entire box (between zoning out, sleeping with my eyes open and yawning at the presentations). But then my stomach couldn't handle the cc cookies and I felt really sick right after. Don't want to go into details, but what followed wasn't pretty. I think my love affair with cc cookies is over.

...hahahah (Sorry for stealing your thread, Lisa)...but it feels good to hear that other people get this done to them too!!...Yeah, he had done that because I had a Red Velvet cupcake the day before and I knew I shouldn't have been eating that AGAIN!

That's so funny Alta! That's sort of like me and my Hubby with fastfood. He constantly reminds me of the deal with fastfood and weight watcher. But unfortunely he wasn't around today when I was looking for a quick lunch (but I didn't go over board).

Urgh my hubby does the same thing with junk food... he'll either buy it and eat it in front of me and then LEAVE what he can't eat there OPEN... Or he'll buy a whole tub of icecream and put it in the freezer and I see it every time I go to grab one of my healthy homemade snacks!! Oh but if I even think of looking at it he tells me off. Grrr no one has THAT much willpower!!! Come ON! Lol men...

It must be a man thing - good for you for resisting!! I feel I resist about 80% of the time and the other 20% isn't so bad because sometimes it's just a bite to get the taste. But sometimes our cravings get out of control - maybe 5% of the time, lol! I'm working on it!

My hunnie supports me that way too sometimes!! Sometimes I appreciate it and sometimes when I know I can have it I get mad - I don't mean to but I just want it damn it, lol!!

I asked my hunnie to hide all his granola bars this weekend or take them with him because they are the only bad thing in the house and I just hate being tempted! Out of sight - out of mind! I'm crossing my fingers for the weigh-in too!!

Ok so yesterday was an awesome day and I'm planning to end today the same!!! Yeah for a great week finally - I'll usually have a couple good days and then ruin it on late night snacking but I have been so good with my snacks this week!! Here's how yesterday looked:
Exercise - 25 min Biggest Loser Cardio Max dvd
B - ff yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds & 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (3)
Snack - 3 cups mint green tea
L - big veggie salad - iceberg lettuce, green onions, cucumber, tomato, carrots, black olives, chick peas w ff dressing (3)
Snack - 1 cup mint green tea (forgot to eat my apple)
Exercise - 30 min 1 min solutions class (different exercise every min - it was intense), 30 min power barbell class - got some good strength training in!!
Snack - WW chocolate protein shake made with water - drank it on the way home from gym (1)
D - 4 oz bbq chicken breast (3) chopped and put in salad same as above (2)w olive oil & balsamic vinegar (2)
Exercise - steady cleaning for 2 1/2 hours - my house is spotless now so my sister better make it on the plane!
Snack - banana w s.f. choc. pudding cup (3)
Lying in bed I had a sip of hunnie's fruit punch and a bite of his granola bar - I just need a taste of something before I hit the sack.
I felt like I got a great last chance workout in and only had 17 points so that makes up for the day I went over this week! I didn't feel hungry at all but it wasn't very many points because I ate so much salad. I brought salad every day for lunch this week and have it today too with a left over chicken breast.
I'm so excited for my weigh-in! I just feel great today and think even if I only lose point something I will still be really happy. I took my measurements this morning and nothing changed much so I will wait another week and update.
Be back in a couple hours to post my weigh-in!!! Fingers crossed!!
Oh and I got up and did the treadmill before work!! This week can't get any better!
