Revolation this morning!

I am off work today and tomorrow. I walked for 45 minutes today, roughly 3 miles. I came up with a game plan for exercise.

Mon, Wed, Fri - 45 min walk in the AM, 20 min Tae Bo tape in the PM
Tue, Thurs - 45 min walk in the AM, 20 min Pilates tape in the PM
Saturday - Clean house, mow the yard, Shoot bow
Sunday - REST

I dont need a gym membership to get fit... Whooo RAH!
 
Couldnt find the 20 min TB tape, so did the 10 min one and it kicked my ass, also did 100 cruches. Now I have to find the pilates dvd for tomorrow.

Had almost 1200 cal today. I am really nervous to weigh tomorrow for the Aug 10 pound thing. I have stayed off of the scale, save Sat and Tues mornings.:eek:

Last time I dieted I took correctal everynight with atkins. I am trying to resist that. I want to loose weight the healthy way, and keep it off.
 
Heidi - Good for you for wanting to lose weight the healthy way! It's great you have such a good plan in place :)
 
Thanks m2m! I envy you to be able to walk so much in one day... I have been trying to gradually increase my walking time, I need to drive it to see how much I actually walk.

I was around 1100 cals today. School starts tomorrow for my daughter, so she wanted to go to McDs tonight. I had a grilled chicken salad and to my suprise it was only 260 cals. I put the dressing in the lid and dipped my bites into because they were out of low fat. Couldnt believe that I only used about a 1/4 of the dressing.

Exercise - 45 minutes walk, fast pace AM, 20 mins walk dogs noon, 10 min tae bo tape PM

Weighed in today and I am at 137. This afternoon became TOM:(
 
Its TOM, I am tired. Had 1100 cals today. I didnt want to walk but I did, for an hour. Drinking so much water I am in the bathroom every half hour!
 
Thanks DQ, its hard to stay motivated all the time! Even only weeks into a "lifestyle change".

Which brings me to.... I went to the Chinese Buffet for lunch...:eek:
HOWEVER.... I had only one plate, I didnt over eat, and instead of a second plate, I had fruit, watermelon, pinapple, orange slices. I had a half sandwich for dinner with tons of fresh spinach on it. Excluding the chinese I had 600 - 650 cals. So hoping I didnt go over 1200, but if I did, hey... TOM... and I walked 3 miles tonight and did the 10 minute tae bo tape.
 
Yesterday I didnt do to well with self control. My husband brought me home a McGriddle and I ate it... I didnt exersice last night, I was so tired. I went to sleep at 730 pm and just woke up at 8 AM. My TOM is ending,thank goodness. Weighed in this morning at 136. Lost 1 pound since Tuesday. Better then I thought it would be.

My Coworkers noticed my 9 pound weight loss yesterday:D
 
Great that your coworkers are noticing. You seem to really be doing great. Going off occassionally happens, just try and get back on the wagon as quickly as possible when it does. If nothing else, you'll avoid plateaus a bit.
 
Thanks Cannon and DQ! It is good to know that I am not the only one that strays from the good foods... I felt like a total looser after eating the McD's.

Though I just got done push mowing for 1/5 hours. And let me tell you this isnt no self propelled mower either. Its a big ol Poulan bagger mulcher. I had sweat running from every part of my body. Maybe that was too much info... hehe.

I was reading someone elses diary and they weighed 115 pounds and wanted to get down to 105. That is ridiculous. But then this is supposed to be a supportive place to go to, so I shouldnt be judgemental. But then again, you can write what ever you want in your diary, right? Then I wondered if others thought that of me. I started at 145, but my highest has been 175-165. At 145, I was on the line as being over weight. Now I am in the healthy weight, but comfort wise, I would feel good in my skin being at 120. I think that is selfish after seeing others that have more to loose then I do.

It's not selfish to want to feel comfortable in your own skin!! Everyone's body is different so you can't really compare weight loss. A lot of people on here who are the same height as I am want to be thinner than me but, I know what's comfortable for my body. You are doing great and deserve to be commended on the weight you've lost. Everyone one on here is losing and we all need support. The only difference are the amounts of weight that people want to lose! :)
 
Yeah, definately don't compare yourself to others as far as what you feel comfortable weighing. When I wieghed 120 lbs, I looked anorexic.

And I think the girl who wanted to get down to 105 was only like 5 feet tall and 15 years old. And that would put her in the 20.5 percentile range for her BMI which is on the low side of normal.
 
Thank you so much... I feel better now about wanting to be 120. I love food and I know that I have the capability of gaining alot of weight if I dont nip it in the bud...

I still have dinner to go but I will keep the cals 1200 or less. I walked for 1 hour and 15 minutes today at a pretty face pace. I was all sweaty! A good sweat that is for sure, housework, and an activit with DH. And I have been drinking 3L of water a day.

I had close to 1200 cals today also. I took my walking shoes to work today and walked 1/2 hour around ISU during the first part of my lunch and then had my salad. ANd then tonight I walked for an hour around the subdivision. Woooohohoo the backs of my legs are burnin'. I am psyched because I can start to tell a difference in my body. My inner thighs almost dont rub together when I walk now.. hehe!
 
Weighed in today... 135... whohooo.. it was actually 134.6, but I round up.

I am a little under 1200 cals, and will be walking in about 45 minutes. Will walk for an hour, and then have a 100 cal snack.
 
Yesterday I stayed right on with the 1200 cals.
Today, I went just a tad over but not too bad.. round 1400.

I am still walking 45 mins to 1 hour every night. Tonight I shot my compound bow for 30 minutes, it has a 40 pound draw.

I am thinking about cutting my calories down to 1000.

Havent weighed myself since Tues. I only weigh on Tues and Sat.

Next weekend we are going to a 4 day family reunion at a State park. We are staying in the Inn and will be eating at the restraunt every evening. :(
But I will be hiking and walking ALOT, and swimming.
