Jello - Thanks so much for the well wishes!! I'm about back to 100% today. I'm still a little iffy when it comes to eating but for the most part, I'm ok. I lost 5lbs in a day!!! Then again I'm sure it was water weight, so I'm not hoping for that much come tomorrow. The Beck Solution is really great. It feels really awkward at first, but when you realize it's simply getting your mind to put dieting in the forefront, it makes a lot of sense and I have found it to be REALLY helpful! You don't need to get both the workbook and the book, by the way. Just one or the other will do fine - I got both but loaned the workbook out to my friend as they kinda mirror each other. I think if I rework the program again, I'll use the workbook.
eykman - You're right! I definitely don't eat when I'm sick. At least not when I have a GI bug!! Whenever I'm really sick otherwise it's usually very small portions of salty foods (soups, crackers, etc)
Proud to report that I'm back in action and that I only missed a day of exercise! Got back on track with my youtube workout today as we had chiropractic appointments and time is short when we have those. Tomorrow and Wed I'll be at the gym, and tomorrow should be interesting when it comes to the scale. Between the stomach flu this weekend and PMS, I'm not really sure what to expect!!!
Got a call back from my personal trainer today but I deleted his message like a moron. Oops! I'll see if I can hunt him down tomorrow at the gym and schedule an update session. I'm so proud of myself - I can schedule a workout UPDATE!!! That means I've been working out long enough that I need to REVAMP MY WORKOUT!!! WOW!!!!!
I do have to also say that I just love the gym I go to. There is never a line, the machines are all well taken care of and modern, and the staff is just wonderful. Very professional and helpful. So great!!! Definitely a great help on this ever difficult journey.
