Hi all!
Felici thank you so much for coming by and for the kind words! Yea I got back on the horse.
I think for me it is about realizing that it isn't a "quick fix" that I'm looking for, but something I can change for the rest of my life. If I lose weight, that's awesome! And I expect to probably lose a significant amount of weight, but I never again want to be a slave to the numbers on the scale nor do I want to excessively overeat like I used to (we're talking 2 meals a day at McDonald's) or undereat. I want to effect a positive, lasting change in my health.

ABBA, I don't use the incline *YET*. I'm working on upping my endurance before I start that. It was a big deal for me to start jogging at 4.5 speed for five minutes only a month ago, so I'm allowing myself baby steps. Eventually I'd like to get to the point where I can utilize the "hill" feature on the treadmill and jog through the majority of the session, with the ultimate hope to be to find myself a route to jog through my neighborhood! (if the mood strikes)
Another busy day!! Saw six patients today which was crazy, but I busted butt and got done by 3pm to be home for the shrink appointment at 4:30. Got home, cooked dinner, and just realized that I have some extra room in my calorie count for today! Hmmm. . . .wonder what I'll have. Maybe if I get hungry later I'll have an easter cookie or something. I dunno. I'm just not a sweets person so even when I am able to have them, I shy away. Maybe I'll make some popcorn tonight to watch "Ghost Hunters". Love that show.
Anyway, short entry for today because I'm tired.

) and get a few cups of coffee in me. I'm trying to be ambitious today to get some stuff done, but I just want to sleep. No gym for the past 2 days, but I'm starting to think that 5-6 times a week for the gym is OK. I'll strive for 6, but 5 will be alright.
