Having Another Go

So I'm having another go at this. This last week or so has been a downer and I've been shoveling everything in grasp and I feel absolutely disgusting. I self esteem is in the pits and I need this, I really do. My body feels bloated and full of garbage, which is undoubtedly is. I feel really bad neglecting my poor body like this. I know I can do this. I will. I've rid the house of all temptations and packed up on vegetables, fruits and lots of water and green tea. I have my Gazelle and Ab Lounge. Say bye bye fat!

Good Luck on your weightloss it seems you are set for the journey! Let me know how the Ab lounge works i was thinking of getting one myself. Good luck!

Good luck with your diet. I know what you mean when you say you feel disgusting. This happens to me too and it makes things worse. It's like I can't stand myself and think....how did this happen to me!>!??!! Anyway, I've been doing well for just a few days and am already feeling better so hopefully your sad feelings won't last very long.

My day has been particularly good. I've managed to stick to the healthier side of eating and have been drinking a lot of green tea. Just bought some blueberry tea as well, it's super tasty. Herbal tea may just replace my snacking, just hate having to let it cool down for ages, but it's a lot healthier. I'm kind of tired, which is odd because I didn't wake up until 2pm. I'm going to have to pop some Guarana and have a nice long work out. Will run/jog on the Gazelle for 30 minutes, hopefully longer if my legs can take it and I'll stay in zone 4 of my heart rate. Then I'll have a quick work out on the Ab Lounge, possibly 10 minutes, short I know but I'm still not used to the motion and kind of get a tad motion sick.

Tryingtolose, the Ab Lounge is a machine that allows you to do crunches to work your muscles in the upper and lower abdominals and obliques and supports your body, head, neck, and back throughout the entire exercise, so you won't accidentally strain a non-ab muscle through poor form.
 
Yeah, you'll feel better once you get a few good days in. The hardest part is getting started. Now WAIT for results. You can do it.
 
Hey i drink green tea too! Keeps me from craving bad food lol. And it tastes better than plain o water.

pinkydolly, guaraná show benefits to cognitive function. Other studies have shown antioxidant, antibacterial, and fat cell reduction (when combined with conjugated linoleic acid) properties in guaraná. It gives me a lot of energy and is commonly used in energy drinks.

11 AM } Okay well I had a root canal done this morning. I didn't get a chance to eat before having it don! bad idea. Now I'm starving but I can not eat because I could chance traumatizing and bruising my face. I also can not exercise for the same reason. Grr! Don't expect much update here today, it's going to be an extremely sedentary and non eating day. I will try to have some tea and soup later but I'm definitely not touching any solids or plan to move much from my chair and bed at all.

5 PM } Feeling a lot nicer now. Will probably have a nice work out. 10 minutes on the Ab Lounge and 30 minutes, maybe longer, on the Gazelle. Finally figured out how to work my heart rate monitor so now I'll know how many calories I'm burning, etc. Yay. Also feeling real good. Because of the root canal I've managed to keep on eating track. Not looking forward to having some fillings done tomorrow but what the heck, I'm on a dental roll so I may as well. Guess it's a good time as I really have to be careful what I'm eating.

4 PM } Had some fillings done today.. ouch! they hurt more than the root canal did. Anyway they pumped four separate areas causing the whole side of my face to go numb. The numb just went now and I've been able to eat but I have a canker sore and another one coming, plus the right side of my tongue is very sore so eating is hard, I've been drinking a lot of tea. Oh and I decided to wear my heart rate monitor all day today and guess what? I've burned 1500 calories so far today. That surprises the heck out of me considering I've done no exercise yet. I'm on a good track, I think.

3 AM } Haven't posted in a long time but I'm back now. So I'd lost 8 pounds in 37 days but gained some back so it's now 6 pounds lost in 37 days to date which isn't bad, but isn't fantastic either. Anyway I am fasting tomorrow and plan to move onto a juice fast thereafter. We'll see how things roll.
 
I love juice fasts. I always feel so refreshed afterwards. The longest I have gone has been a week. Let us know how it goes.

u r doing great. Just make sure u dont give urself to many cheats at the end of the mth. Try to find ur weakness in ur dietary or exercise protocol. Its a key to ur success.

11:30 PM } So I did not end up fasting. I gorged and have been doing so that past couple of days. It's not all bad news though. I am now at 143.8 as of this morning. That's 2.6 pounds lost in 5 days, which is bizarre considering I am on my period at the moment.

I am happy though. The loss and I got a call back for a job I desperately hope I get. So it's all good. :jump:

Also considering fasting tomorrow.
 
12:20 AM } Hi! Long time no post.. anyway I have lost about 8 lbs since my last post and now weigh in at 135.0 lbs. Which isn't bad but definitely isn't spectacular. I am doing good. I fasted yesterday on nothing but water and plan to move onto a diet consisting of strictly fruit and vegetables today, hopefully this will last as long as possible as I have been intending to adapt to a raw vegan diet for ages now. I have tons of motivation and go so hopefully the next couple of days and longer go well.
 
Welcome back! Well and 8 pound loss is better than nothing at all!I hope you follow through with your fast.I thought of a raw vegan diet but then I realized that I really like to cook-so that was finished at that moment-LOL

Thanks. I finished my fast fine and had a banana this morning even though I wasn't hungry. I had to remind myself to eat. :rolleyes: I feel like I could never eat again.. though that's probably not a good idea.

11 AM } This morning I was 132.8 lbs. That's a 3 lbs loss in 3 days. Ah I am so close to my first weight goal I can practically taste it! I'm looking so lean in the mornings now, I just wish it would stick but whenever I eat or drink my gut bloats out. I haven't been exercising much though even though the weather is fabulous. I'm going to have to go for a walk this evening though I think.

Reminder to self: stop being so lazy! :boxing:

9:50 PM } Well anyway I have not been doing all that well at all. One day I have a moderately flat stomach and the following it is bloated and distended, it can occur in no more than a couple of minutes. I hate it, it makes me so miserable. I need to find a way to stop this bloating. I have also been eating like wild that last couple of days and probably have gained.. too much peanut butter. I am going to fast for 48 hours, if not longer. Definitely need to detox.
