Having Another Go

09-19-07

9 PM } I made it. I fasted 24 hours and I feel absolutely fantastic. Now I just need to last another 24 hours and I'll be all good. I miss food already though. I am already flipping through cookbooks to decide what to eat on Friday. Ah it is going to taste marvelous.

Also exercised this evening. I went for a 20 minute walk and sprinted for a 1 minute or so. So out of shape ugh.

God I am so pudgy though, it is terrible, I am ashamed to leave my room most of the time.
 
09-20-07

11 PM } I went to the gym tonight and burned about 1200 calories. Did more strength training than cardio though. My arms are like jello and my legs are kind of sore too. I will really feel it tomorrow!

Did good though today. Fasted completely yesterday and most of today. Had meatloaf for dinner, a bunch of dried prunes, some goji berries and a whole lot of lemon juice added to water.

Feeling okay in general. The inches are slowly disappearing and the leaner me is showing through. My gut is still a nightmare though and it's really depressing.

I will be fasting tomorrow once more and possibly the following day thereafter. It feels so good when my belly is empty. It's almost like a high.
 
10:50 } So go figure. Living at my boyfriends I totally derailed. I'm almost certain that I have regained most of the pounds that I previously managed to shed. I'm out on my own now though so as of tomorrow I am back on track. I'll be joining a gym and beginning a adventure to a healthier, happier me. I'm totally psyched and know I can do it this time.

IMO you are on your way to developing an eating disorder. Over exercising while starving your body of nutrients is not a healthy attitude to have towards food and will only lead to dehydration and a corresponding binge. You cannot "spot" reduce either - your stomach may never be as flat as youd like unless the rest of you is a bag of bones. Thats a path to anorexia and you are showing signs of that eg. starvation diets. Your body can detox naturally while still being fed - just go organic and vegetarian for a while and have no booze.

Eat 5 small healthy meals a day. Exercise for 30 minutes a day. Drink lots of water and take some vitamins. You will feel a lot better and your weight loss will be almost effortless.
 
6:20 PM } Had a banana for breakfast this morning and had a big glass of fruit juice for lunch. Chances are I'll be having some Sushi later on for dinner. I also walked to the gym and I'll be heading back tomorrow to speak to a manager about a month by month membership seeing as I probably will not be in this city any longer than a couple months. So far so good!

4 PM } I have gained so much since moving. It is terrible and I look terrible. I am not healthy, I need to be! On Monday the 25 I managed to step in action and have been full force eating much smaller portions and much healthier food, not to mention not a morsel of junk food! I have resisted the opportunity to devour a lot of garbage. I am so proud. When I think about overeating or eating something horrible I think 'Your body is a temple - treat it that way.' and most of the time it gives me the willpower to go on. I was 155 lb on Monday, yesterday I was 151 lb so progress in definitely underway!
