~~Hana's Diary~~

Hi Hana!
I think you are, perhaps, one of our younger posters.
(In the Diary section, anyway.)
WELCOME!
I'm "only" 29, but I remember what it was like to be your age (young, lol) and unhappy with my body.
(I wasn't even overweight, but that's another story...)

The thing is, you have WAY more control when living with parents than you think you do.
Unless they are horrible eaters, most parents WANT their children to succeed.
Have you asked them to help you make better decisions?
You may have to start cooking your own meals (for you and the family, of course) 1-2times/week to help out them helping you out, but cooking can be fun.
I guess I just think living with parents gives you LESS excuse to eat poorly because you have their income to help as well as your own and eating healthy isn't cheap.
You can make this work, :).

Thank you for posting that because I actually find it helpful too. I'm 22 and living with my parents. Anyway, not to take over your diary Hana. Hana, I think you are doing good too. Better than me, I can tell you that.

Just popping in to say hi! I hope you're doing well! :)
Hi Hana, you really are doing great! Good job :)

Thank you it's really helpful and thank you for the support everyone :)

I think I probably do use the fact I'm living with my parents as an excuse sometimes and I shouldn't.

They aren't always the healthiest eaters but it's more that they are very stubborn and don't really listen to anything anyone else says. I honestly feel like they still act like I am about 12, my mum especially. I have to be very careful about how I phrase or ask things so that it doesn't get dismissed just because it came from me.

Sorry I haven't been updating the last week or keeping up with everyone else's diaries :( It's been a really busy (and not great food) week but hopefully I can catch up properly later :)
