.. your body that is... this should be a no brainer for most of y'all.. for me - it'll be a challenge :D

We know that part of a healthy lifestyle includes drinking water, eating right and exercise... welcome to the week 3 challenge...

This weeks challenge is:

30 minutes of exercise a day.

Exercise can be walking at a moderate pace, dancing in your bedroom, the elliptical or stationary bike, but shoot for 30 minutes per day x 6 (the 7th day you rest)

1 point for each minute of exercise over 180 minutes a week by each member will be added to the team score - let's be honest please.

... your bonus challenge this week...

have fun..

love the challenges

so far i love the challenges. i don't go to a gym so this gives me alittle more insentive to due my workouts instead of skipping them.

AWESOME...I get alot of physical activity in a day...as long as it is 30 mins of movement right...

movement counts... but it should be intentional movement... going to the grocery store for 45 minutes doesn't count.. going for a walk around the block does count... though if you walk to the grocery store instead of taking the car... that would count...

Yes, no worries, Im on top of this one....I have a physical job and work out alot...believe it or not...LOL...I am havig a hard time finding my post to edit with my weight and stuff, maybe I havent dug deep enough...LOL

I found it thanx...somewhere on the second page...have a good day:)...Im off to exercise and then to work...*UGH* LOL

Yea, I'm totally pumped as well because I'm turing into a regular gym rat doing 45 minutes everyother day, but I get in atleast a good 2 miles or more of walking to and from classes (which I hope counts because I walk fast and hard on purpose haha).

I have a question, can the minutes be cumalitive (sp??) like for instance, if you do an hour 1 day and then none the next day, would that be ok as long as you get your 180 minutes?

This shouldn't be a problem for me as I do Curves and my powerwalk/run in on alternative days and I've been trying to add my strength training back in when I get home...but let me get this straight. I need to get at least 30 minutes per day to get my 180 minutes for the week BUT I only get my asterik if I exceed 180 minutes for the week? Is that right? I just want to be sure not to put an asterik there if I haven't really earned it.

Does this include sit-ups and weight-lifting or just movement that can be calculated in miles?

That's movement, I didn't read anywhere that it had to build up miles. I think you're fine.

But I'm still confused about the point thing, maybe I'm just slow today but I need someone to clear this up for me. Do I get an asterik for working out for at least 30 minutes? And then add a point for every minute I go over? Or do I not get a an asterik unless I go over 30 minutes per day.

This is the part that confuses me. Help a sista out please? Evidently sleep deprivation has gotten the best of me, since I'm the only one that doesn't get it. Can someone clear this up for me? Cause I already gave myself an asterik for getting my 30 minutes Curves workout in with my 15 minute stretch afterwards. So I need to know if I need to remove it or leave it. *I feel so dumb today*

From what I understand it is at least 30 mins a day for an astric...that is my understanding...I work out at least 30 mins a day and recieve and astric everyday I do this...but what I am going to do is just grand total my daily exercise...I dunno makes sence to me...I made a ticker even though it seems to be exercising a mind f its own...I did change it now it is backt ot he start ... anyway...*eyes rolling*

YAY! This is a good one.... I didnt read it yesterday, but I have been walking 2 miles every day = 35- 40 minutes. Got it in for yesterday and didnt even know it.. hehe
