Don't feel bad OHD - you're not the only one who is a little confused - it's this line that confuzzles me too:

1 point for each minute of exercise over 180 minutes a week by each member will be added to the team score - let's be honest please.

Yeah, it's kind of confusing, seeing that if we do the 30min a day, it'll equal 210min a week.... hm...

but luckily, this one's going to be pretty easy for me! we have at least 2 hours of vb practice a day, not counting games. And 30 min should be easy for sunday too. (i'm going on another hike today!) You can do it everyone!

Ok, I'm still confused about the bonus points thing.

I do one hour of exercise a day...so is that * + 30?

Ahh, good question Kaitie. I guess I should go add +15 to my asterik from yesterday. I just finished up 30 minutes of strength training...had to stop after that, my legs are feeling like spaghetti and my heart rate is through the roof.:p :p Guess I was overdoing it a bit. But I'm not done for the day so I guess I'll wait until this evening to fill in my stats.

While I am confused, this is a great challenge. It's pushing me to get even more active everyday. And it came at a great time, now that I've lost another 1.5 I am sooo psyched to loose these last 2.5.

This one I'm clear about. It's 30 minutes a day for 6 days...you're supposed to rest one day.

Exercise can be walking at a moderate pace, dancing in your bedroom, the elliptical or stationary bike, but shoot for 30 minutes per day x 6 (the 7th day you rest)

That is the EXACT line that confused me. Oh well, I'm sure Mal will take me out of my misery soon and explain it to me. As for now, I just put my * for 30 minutes and then a +___ for however many minutes I went over.

Good to know I wasn't alone M2M and DQ. :p

"1 point for each minute of exercise over 180 minutes a week by each member will be added to the team score - let's be honest please."

What I think this means is that say a team has ten members... some meet their daily requirement of 30 min x 6 days, some do more, some do less. If the team as a whole gets exactly 1800 minutes of exercise for the week (10 members x 180 minutes each) there will be no bonus points. But if the team gets say 1810 minutes (one extra minute of exercise by each of the ten members) the team will get one more bonus point.

At least, that is how I interpreted it. As far as asterisks go, I'm just keeping track of minutes per day and not worrying about how to officially log it at the moment. :)

Got my asterik + 5 minutes today, went for a walk around the neighborhood with my daughter this evening. It was such a beautiful evening. We talked and laughed...good times.

I did 30 minutes of booty shakin today with a combination of this drama dance workout thing we learned in class. It gives a great workout for the thighs and calves. I worked up a great sweat. I should have about 30 to 90 minutes over the 180 minutes required~ and I'm not going to count the 2 miles I walk at school durning the day because I kind of have to do those and I don't know the exact minutes, so it's too complicated, but if I do some hard physical labour in Drama again, I'm totally counting it!

How much "credit" should I get for going to the zoo yest?? Man, I walked for like a good 2 maybe 3 hrs...mind you I did take a break occasionally, so tracking down the exact time is going to be hard...what do you think??

Oh, and I'm going to mow the yard today, it takes me 45 minutes....does that go toward my excersize credit???

Movement is movement, right? I say yes it counts...walking across campus and at the zoo. I don't think I walk enough at work to count it cumulatively, but I will include my 2 mile powerwalks on Tuesday and Thursdays.

When I walk somewhere more leisurely (like taking the kids out) I count it, but only count say, 45 minutes as a 20 minute walk. Because I know I wasn't moving very fast:)

This will be fun and easy to do.I walk atleast 3-4 miles or bike
for 20
minutes plus my crunches and weights and now I have a mini
trampoline so I can boing all over the place as long as no1 along
with myself gets hurt! Good luck Freddys Tammy

I'm only counting my actual "exercise" time. None of the extra day to day life time. I work on Friday where I'm on my feet and *move* over 5 miles for the course of 8 hours - I don't ever count that in my weekly exercise time.
