Half of Me:The Story of Fat Girl Slim

Somehow it is easier here...maybe b/c I don't have to back it up :)

Nah, it's just a state of mind. You have what it takes to back it up. Look at you a year ago, and now. I'm not just talking what you've done on the outside, but what you've done on the inside. That's where the back up comes from.

Besides that, you got friends to back you up, too. :hat:

True dat :) I have come a long way, baby!

*walks off whistling 'You gotta have friends...'*

Ok...I think I must be dying.

I am losing weight. A lot of weight (for me, anyway). I don't normally get on the scale but with my being in the May Weight Loss Challenge (coolest challenge on WLF - shameless plug, I know) I have been checking it a little more frequently.

I weighed in today at 181.4 which I am sure is some sort of fluctuation but I am used to not seeing any movement for weeks on end.

Very strange things going on here...

And you're complaining?? Stop that! Must be all the forum post-induced laughing going on lately. Burns calories, ya'know.

You are seeing results for all the ard work you put in and you are complaining?
I never thought i would meet someone on par to my level of issues- you are the closest I have seen.
Ali- you work extremely hard every day on yourself. It is only right that you are finally seeing scale results- you have consistently had measurement results.
Now mind you- if it is not your weigh in day do not count it as it can simply be fluctuation..
But a fluctuation up is better than any other way..

I'm not complaining...I am just amazed by it. Keith had suggested that I up my cals and see what happened and it worked, I guess my body decided to get back to business.

Since I don't have an official weigh in day, I just take it as it comes, however, I know it could just be a fluctuation. I'll take it.

See, THIS is why you don't get spammed. You are too serious. lol

I do have a serious question, though, if anyone cares to answer it. Since I have been exercising regularly, it seems I am always cold. Even when the weather is warm. When I go a couple days without exercising (Yeah, I know. Kick me) I feel normal (well, as normal as I can be, anyway) but as soon as I get back into working out - cold. All day cold. Why is that?

I am serious b/c no one wants to play with me... :(

I get cold much more easily now, I don't know if is has to do with working out or just losing weight in general but I definately notice it much more...

But, I haven't lost weight yet. Well, five-ish pounds. But, c'mon that is not much insulation.

It may just be what happens to your body as you get into the groove of losing weight, I'm not sure though...

*hoping steve or keith will hop in and save my uneducated butt*

Yeah, where are they when you need them?

I figured I would stay hot. or warm. or something. But not cold. Come to think of it, back when I was losing before and had an exercise regimen, I experienced the same thing.
