I think I may try the eliptical tomorrow grrrr me and hubby are atgueing AGAIn as I type lol I said I might use the elitptical again and he says uhhuh kind of blowing me off and blurts out none of that stuff works thats why you have sold 1/2 your stuff I am like ummmm NO I have gotten suckered into some LAME stuff before and gotten rid of it(ab lounge,torso tiger)but my stationary bike and elitptical are proven weightloss methods with eating right."MEN":rolleyes::mad:
Anyway your menue looks good and I was thinking the banannah pita thing how about adding some fat free bannah pudding sliced banannah and fat free whip cream :):drooling: lol must try!I had a honey nut special K snack bar today yummmmy!Keep up the good work and I see 145 in your NEAR future,I must say you are kicking butt in the challange and your team!:)

Are you sure my hubby and yours are not related??? My hubby says exactly the same. I tried to buy exercise equipment last year when I really started concentrating on this weight loss thing and he flat out told me:NO. He wanted proof of me sticking to it first.... so i had to enroll in a gym and faithfully go 5 days a week for like 4 months. Then I still had to use my "charm" (LOL) to convince him about buying the treadmill!!! I am working on the elliptical maybe for Christmas ... so far it is a flat NO from him again. Even that I think I used my treadmill every single day since we got it (ok, maybe a handful of days I missed). If that is not proof of my seriousness than what is??? I love my hubby dearly but he can be very stubborn at times.:)
 
WHOOO I finally ovulated. Ok I know it might not be a big deal to some of you but for me... I am on cycle day 36 and for a week now I have been bloated, uncomfortable and hurting... it actually worse than TOM. Now the bloating will go away for a few days just to start a week prior to TOM again. I sure don't miss these two weeks. So as of right now it seems this cycle is going to be 50 days. Right now it does not bother me but next year when I am trying for a baby it will annoy me for sure.
DR will not do anything about it unless I have less then 4 TOMs in a year.. which I am always above. Nice ,huh?

Anyway, had a rough night, DD and I were up most of the night... I still got my exercise in this morning and plan to do regular at night.
Food plan is all done for the week, I am working on next week's now.
gotta run.
 
I made some healthy chips for myself: just cut up a pita bread to little chunks and threw it in the oven for like 4 min on one side and turn and 4 min on the other. Yummy and soooo healthy and low calorie.

Did you know that Kangaroo (local brand here for pita pockets) makes chips. They sell them by our deli section. They have 3 flavors. I prefer the garlic ones. Though I don't just eat them outta the bag. I crush a few for on top my salads. Their like 11 cals a chip and they are a decent size so for one salad I can get by with like 4-5 chips. And the kids love 'em too!

Wow crazy the 2 sound simalar but I am sure mine is the bigger pain in the butt,he weighs "145" and doesn't have a clue how emotional this whole thing can get at times and when you do good he thinks it's magic I guess lol.
Wow I didn't know you were trying for anothe baby or planning to try CONGRATS! My aunt can only get preggers by putting her on medication and monitoring her all 3 kids of hers were thankful to the right meds she is lucky no tripletts occurred :rotflmao:! I am glad things are going great for ya along those lines.Have a nice day,may chexk back later if I can hp back on here,you know how crazy kids can get :rotflmao::rolleyes:

Thanks Bell!! I will look for them next time and check it out. The ones I make I make it from Joseph's lavash bread (like a tortilla), which is 8" x 13" and has 100 calories for the whole thing. From that I get at least 30 chips. I am sure not as flavorful as the bagged/flavored chips but I love the volume I can have for such low calorie...:rotflmao:
 
Great nutrition! Ah yes, I adore ovulating, but I'm surprised to hear you bloat!? I heard that usually women get slimmer waists during ovulation but that could be a myth...

I wish slimmer waist... LOL. In fact I am in so much pain right now that I have to skip on my night exercise. I feel bad about it but I know it would just make matters worse. I do have some problems in the "women" department and I guess there is another dr. visit for me soon.
And I do bloat like crazy, I had to wear my size bigger pants today and still it was too tight.

Have not take them yet... I am not sure I will have the chance. I know I shatter some dreams here but I am not much of a Halloween person. I was brought up without it and I can do without it.
That said, I had something in mind it is just a matter of finding the time!!
 
Ok, Wednesday

Well, today started out ok and went way downhill from there. I did my exercise in the morning and went to work as usual. Then the unbelievable pain hit. and it is not UTI and at this point I have no idea what it is.. my guess is a cyst. I do not want to run around again to yet another dr... So after many painkillers the pain subsided to somewhat tolarable level so I can do my job. Ok, it is as bad as I am not exercising tonight. In fact I came home and immediately changed into my pajamas and told DH he is on baby-watch tonight because I feel pretty useless at this point. I am going to update here and go to bed with some heating pads...

Breakfast: 1 red. Cal. bagel (110), 2 tbs ff cream cheese (35) 2 tbs sgf jelly (20), 1 plum(35), 1 c. ff milk (90), 1 coffee (50) = 340
Snack: 3 tbs Newmans Own salsa (37), Toasted pita chips (100) = 137
Lunch: fruity curry chicken salad (Quorn chicken, pineapple, grapes, nayonnaise, milk, orange juice, sweetener) (242), 1 ww english muffin (100), = 352
Snack: 1 oatmeal cookie (82), 1 diet hot chocolate (25) = 107
Dinner: shake: 1 c ff milk (90), 1 ff yogurt (60), 1 c. frozen fruit (70), 2 ww bread (80), 2.8 oz baked tofu(40) = 340
Dessert: 1 cocoa-applesauce cake (86), 4 tbs ff whip cream (30) =116

Total calories for the day : 1382

Exercise.:. 35 min walk on incline (200 cal burn) = 200

I hope all the meds,rest and heating pads work!
If they don't I have taken like a HOTT relaxing bath before bed and a long
bath at that and it did help me get to sleep before pain came back.I get bad lower back pain usually right after TOM for about 4 days(don't make any since)and if ya take your fist and grind it in your back in some sick way it feels relievable,weird but lil things I do when they hit.WISH YA WELL and don't feel guilty taking a break your menue looks great and you need to rest so it doesn't get worse,Tammy
 
Hey Hajni, I am sorry you feel so bad. Hope the heating pads and pain meds work to help the pain go away. I know how much it hurts to have pain and not know exactly what is going on. I have been there before. well no news yet as far as dh goes. i am getting to the point where i'm going to call the commander if we don't hear something by the end of the week. he told us when i was there it wouldn't take this long and here it has been what 2 weeks since i left there and he's still no closer to coming home. its driving me crazy. ok well talk to you later take care of you and don't worry about not exercising tonight.

Skipped my exercise this morning as well, such a guilty feeling. I got soo used to exercising, I miss it now.
I feel a lot better today as of this morning, will see what the afternoon brings. I am surely not reaching 145 by Sat. I was 147.6 as of this morning. I am not stressing it, a couple of days off won't hurt the overall process. I am sticking to my food menu.
Off to do some work now.
 
Hope you are feeling better.

And don't fret, we all have to have our days off. If you don't get to 145 - it's just a number, you have come so far!
 
I hope you continue to improve feeling better. It must be bad to keep you from exercising. If its not better in a day or so, I would call your dr. anyway, even if you dont want to.

I have enjoyed "meeting" you thru this forum, and am grateful to your posts and your own success- it is so inspiring for me.

Keep up the good work!

Well, since I have a history of trouble I had to go through all kinds of tests today, now just waiting for the results.
I felt so much better though (still in pain, but manageable) that I went to have my bootcamp and did like 35 min elliptical too. Had great energy (went to bed like 8.30 last night and slept over 9 hrs.)
I am not going to let anything deter me from my goal!!
Breakfast: 1 weight control cereal (160), 1 apple (100), 1 ww bread (40), 1 tbs sgf jelly (10), 1 tbs wheat germ (12) , 1 coffee (50) = 372
Snack: 1 homemade oatmeal cookie (82), 4 tbs ff whip topping (30) =112
Lunch: Creamy TVP bowl: ½ c. textured vegetable protein (160), 1 ff yogurt (60), 1 banana (105) sweetener and cinnamon to taste.. =325
Snack: 1 ww English muffin (100), 2 tbs hummus (50) = 150
Dinner: fruity curry chicken salad (Quorn chicken, pineapple, grapes, nayonnaise, milk, orange juice, sweetener) (242), 1 pita (60) =302
Dessert: 1 jello pudding (60), 1 frozen fruit bar (25) = 85

Total calories for the day : 1346

Exercise.:.35 min elliptical and 35 min boot camp, burning 630 cal total.

Only two days left from the challenge, I have to get to at least 146!! (I think I will, I felt most of the bloating leaving me this afternoon..LOL)
