NO, my life is not slowing down. DH got a flat tire so we were running around tonight to drop his car off at the shop to get it fixed. At least I had a chance to get to the gym and then meet him at the shop afterwards.
Busy-busy-busy. I bought home work that I still have to do and it is already 8 pm here.

So food was good and I did not get to exercise as much as I wanted in the gym but all and all today was fine .


Breakfast: 1 weight control oatmeal (160), 1 tbs raisins (65), 1 ww bread (40), 1 slice red. Fat swiss cheese (60), 1 c. ff milk (90), 1 tbs choc. Syrup (12), 1 coffee (50)= 477

Snack: 1 orange (80), =80

Lunch: Amy’s vegetable lasagna (310),= 310

Snack : 1 sugar free blueberry breakfast bar (100), 1 rice cake (50) = 150

Dinner: Curried Rice and Egg Salad (1 c. broccoli(25), 1 medium egg (70), 1 egg white (15), 2 tbs rice (75), mustard, 1 tbs walnuts(50), 1 tomato (10), ¼ c plain yogurt( 27), 2 c. lettuce (10)), = 282

Dessert: 1 large apple (120) = 120

Total calories for the day : 1419

Exercise. Morning: was too tired and only did like 30 min walk burning only 200 calories, planning to make up for it tonight at boot-camp. Ok, Did like 15 min on the treadmill and boot-camp, burning 390 cal = 590 burned today.

Calorie Deficit: 971

We are going to a big yard-sale early in the morning tomorrow, so it will take me a little time to update my stats.
Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it. I am doing so much better since I joined this forum, the lbs are just flying off!!
I looked at my stats, in July I lost like 3 lbs, August is like 6 and now September hopefully be even more!!
I have to run, will check in later.

I need to go do my yoga, then my week of torture will be over. ;) Only one more day until weigh-in. I might stay up late just to peek at the scale at midnight. :D
 
Today started out bad at work and it just got worse from there.
Then we had to go grocery shopping and picking up hubby's car. I did not even come home, just went from work and now it is 9.15pm, and just sat down to update my foods and post here quick.
I did not get in my night exercise today, I just can't bring myself going downstairs and doing this late. Still did 38 min in the morning, but not enough.
Anyway tomorrow is weigh in day!!!! I still have TOM so I don't know if it is going to be effected or not. Will see.
My food journal for today:
Breakfast: 2 wasa bread (60), 1 ½ tbs p. butter (135), 2 tsp honey (50), ½ tbs wheat germ (12), 1 c. ff milk (90), 1 tbs choc. Syrup (12), 1 coffee (50) = 409

Snack: 1 100 cal. pack graham crackers (100), 1 diet hot chocolate (25)= 125

Lunch: 2 c. vegetable soup (200), 2 c. lettuce (10), 1 tomato (10), 4 oz plain yogurt (55) =275

Snack : 1 medium apple (80), = 80

Dinner: 1 Quorn chicken breast (80), 2 c. sugar snap peas (120), ¼ c. ice cream (65) =265

Dessert: 1 jello (60), 6 pieces ww crackers (65), 1 jello (10), 4 tbs ff whip cream (30)=165

Total calories for the day : 1319

Exercise.: Morning: walking on treadmill 38 min, 2 miles, 3.6 mi/hr 5% incline = 275 cal burn. At night: nothing, did not have time

Calorie Deficit: 756
 
ok, just found the time to post!!
I lost 1.4 lbs this week!!!!!!! I expected a hair more, but I am happy it is a loss and it is still going down. I just reached my dreded last 10 lbs!!!
I am happy my scale is back, I like to see my progress (or not :rolleyes:) on a daily basis.
Went to yard sale this morning, I am on track with food, but no exercise today. Since I skipped last night I am planning to do some today even that it was my rest day.
I took measurements today, the last ones were 4 weeks ago, I am going to insert the results here. I bolded the latest ones.

Saturday food and exercise schedule

Ok, my food journal is below, I am planning to do some exercise later. I took a nice 2 hr nap this afternoon, rare occassions!!! So now I am all energized, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning dishes, picking up the house, re-organizing my daughter's room etc. DH has boy's night out today so I am going to use the free time to get my exercise in, take a nice shower, curl up on the couch with a book... OOOOH what a relaxing evening, I can't wait. ;)

Breakfast: 2 frozen waffles (160), 6 tbs ff whip cream (45), 1/3 c. fruit salad (25), ¼ c. fruit trail mix (200) coffee (50) = 480

Snack:
1 apple (80), 1 Special K snack bar (90) = 170

Lunch: 2 ww bread (70), 1 tbs p.butter (90), 1 tbs jelly (10) 1 peach (70)= 240

Snack : 1 serving of wheatables (130), 25 grapes (40) = 170

Dinner:
1 mango (135), 1 c. ff milk (90) , ½ c, frozen strawberries (25) , = 250 BOY THIS WAS SO DELICIOUS AND FILLING

Dessert: none

Total calories for the day : 1310

Exercise.: none yet. Planning to get some running in later when my daughter goes to sleep UPDATE:: I had so much energy, I just went from one thing to another : 20 min running, 20 min turbo jam, 13 min boot-camp, 15 min more running, burning over 600 cal.

I can not believe I am only 10 lbs away from my goal!! OMG. The last time I was this weight was soooo long ago... and I thought this day would never come....
Everybody if you read this and you just starting out: DO NOT EVER GIVE UP. The reward at the end is unbelievable!!! Keep going no matter how hard it seems at the time!!!
I remembered today where I was about 1year ago. Sitting on my couch ice-cream in hand, feeling sorry for myself, complaining that I am not losing and feel fat, feeling that I will never be able to look sexy again, no self-confidence, hating myself and the world around me... going on the way to depression... Somehow, something happened that I can not put my finger on that yanked me out of this state and I started my journey. Was not easy to start, there were set-backs and struggles... and now today I am ever so grateful I stuck to it. This board has been a great help to keep it together and keep going..
Ok, that is enough of me right now.
 
You know Hajni, your so right. I have thought about giving up time and time again when I think I can't handle this or things are just to stressful around the house or with dh and I, but talking to you and the other ladies on this forum have really helped pull me through. I have lost a total of 20.4 lbs in the 10 weeks that I have been on this journey to losing weight and I really don't think I would have continued after that first month if it hadn't been for this forum and the friends I have made on here. Congrats on only having 10 lbs to go to get to your goal thats great and I'm really proud of you even though you have done most of it without knowing me. Keep up the great work girl and I'm glad I have gotten to know you.

Busy day again. Cooked all kinds of food this morning, laundry, cleaning, exercised for 45 min, then took my daughter to a petting zoo. Now we are ready for a bath, only have time to update and copy my food journal in. I will probably get a little more exercise in later today.
Breakfast: 1 c. egg substitute (120), 1 ½ c. broccoli (30), 2 slices ww bread (70), 2 tbs jelly (20), 20 grapes (32), coffee (50). 1 jello pudding (60) = 382

Snack:
1 plum (35), ½ c. cottage cheese (80), 1 fruit popsickle (25)= 140

Lunch: ½ acorn squash baked with cinnamon and stevia (86), 1 c ff milk (90), 1 tbs choc. Syrup (12), 2 c. lettuce (10), cal. free dressing, 1 peach (70) = 268

Snack: 6 oz ff vanilla yogurt (60), 1 plain rice cake (35) = 95

Dinner: 5.6 oz baked tofu (80), 1 tomato (10), 2 c. salad (10), 2 low carb tortilla (100), 2 tbs calorie free honey Dijon dressing , = 300

Dessert: homemade shake from: ½ frozen banana (55), 1 ff vanilla yogurt (60) ½ c. ff milk (45) = 160

Total calories for the day : 1345

Exercise.: 45 min running, 400 cal burnt, and another 35 min running for 300 calories.

Calorie Deficit: 1121

HI Tammy!! I guess you can tell I am a competitous person, LOL. When I concentrate on something I give it my 110%, no excuses. I just had to make up my mind to concentrate on the weight loss, once it was done, there is no stopping me!!!:rotflmao: Now I am determined to go below my initially set goal amount for the challenge. We'll see.... I am extremely grateful for this challenge. No doubt it has a great effect on my progress. I really do want to get all the max. points and be the "biggest loser" :) It pushes me in the right direction.

Well Tammy, you have a lot of motivation as it is!! You have lost a lot more lbs than I did!!! LOL

Today was not as busy at work, nice for a change. I went to exercise after work and did not get home till 7 pm, ate dinner, spent some time with my daughter, put my food together for tomorrow and now I am ready for my shower. I did great as far as food and exercise go. TOM was finally gone by this morning and a lot water weight with it too!! I keep the suspense up but if I can only keep this weight for next weigh in I will be a happy camper again!!. It is already 8.30, I have like 1 hr before bed time.
Breakfast: 1 weight control hot cereal (160), 1 tbs raisins (50), 2 ww bread (70), 1 tbs p. butter (90), 1 tbs jelly (10), 1 coffee (50) = 430

Snack: 30 grapes ( 50), 1 rice cake (50) = 100

Lunch: Lean Cuisine mushroom pizza (320), 1 ff yogurt (60) = 380

Snack: 1 apple (80)

Dinner:
2 c. vegetable soup (160), ½ cc. ff cottage cheese (80), 4 melba toast (80) =320

Dessert: 1 plum (35), 1 ff jello (60) = 95

Total calories for the day : 1405

Exercise.: 35 min running, 2.5 mile (300 cal burn), 30 min elliptical, 25 min boot-camp(500 cal burn) = 800 total

Calorie Deficit: 1166
 
I see you did an elliptical, treadmill, and a boot camp workout today! No wonder you are losing all that flab!
 
Wow you go girl,doing the eliptical and treadmill geeeesh it would have to be either OR for me I couldn't ever get in the rythym of the elitpical and it is right next to my bike lol I look at and say"maybe next time"lol!Congrats Yeah I lost a bunch way back when I have been this weight since OCT of lastyear so I guess I know how to maintain sort of lol but I want 145-150!!
