HI SweatPea, Tammy, thanks for stopping by.
Tammy, I got one of those mp3 players too, I just call it and ipod,. Mine is a sandisk and it holds about the same amount of songs as yours. I believe Ipod is an mp3 player, and it is made by Apple. As to what songs I listen to, I won't be any help. I mostly listen to hungarian music, around the 80's, I am weird like that
...
I meant to respond to this earlier....
iPod is the devil!!! Hahaha. Congratulations on getting yourself anything but an iPod.
Here's why iPod is terrible:
1. Technically, its not an mp3 player. It plays a file format for which you need to use iTunes or a similar type program to ensure that the files are in the proper format. Why is this bad? Because the files aren't universal!
2. You can't get truly good audio quality through your iPod (unless you rig it to play mp3s... which can be done if you know what you're doing).
3. iPods will not play WMA files. Most people don't care, but there are some advantages to wma. For example, libraries are hopping all over the digital media formats for audio books/music that can be "checked out" and downloaded online. Because some of these require special programs (Media Overdrive for one), they're formatted into WMA files which then have a temporary listening time (usually about 1 month).
Now if you're one of those ipod loving people... Well... I'm glad you like your ipod. I just can't imagine why anyone would buy one unless they wanted more accessories than the music files they intend to listen to.
Cheers!
