Had a nice bike ride yesterday (well apart from getting stung by a wasp), 45 km's.
My tight hammy's are gone, so tomorrow I'll going out for a run again, just a little one to see how it goes. If all goes wel I'm gonna do a long run on Sunday.

gonna have a weekend filled with all the wrong choices (well apart from the running anayway).
Tonight I'm gonna go out to dinner and a concert with a friend, tomorrow I'm gonna be at the pub enjoying the "kermis", and on sunday I'm hosting a BBQ at my house.
Ouch... have to work extra hard to get rid of all those empty weekend-calories.


Overslept today so no time to do the last level 1 30 day shred workout this morning. See if I can squeeze it in tonight.
 
it's not going real fast, weight-loss wise. But I'm fine with that, I've made and been making so many positive changes in my life, I'm just not going by weight loss alone.
 
How do you like doing the 30 day shred? I do own it, but I think I only did it for maybe a week at the most in the past! I think I will do it after Focus T25. Or maybe I'll redo Focus T25. I'm liking it so far. I like how it's a different DVD every day, saturday is a rest day and sunday is the stretch DVD. My first week is almost done and I am sore and have been all week. I cannot do everything they are doing, but there is always someone doing the modifications on there, so that's what I do. I also like how halfway through the program it will change to a whole different sent of dvds. But yeah, I'll let you know how the rest goes! I think you were the one asking about it... right? lol
 
Yeah, I do think it's a bit tedious doing the same routine almost every day for 10 days.
But I started it, so I'm gonna finish it.
Hahaha yes I was the one asking you about Focus T25. Thanks for that. Gonna start Focus T25 sometime after finishing 30 day shred. Should be fun, sure I'm gonna see some familiar faces after doing Insanity :)
 
Had a great time yesterdayevening, but had to go running this morning to burn off the burger and beers from yesterday.
Luckily it wasn't as hot as it has been aal week, so the running was great. Did 9,5 km.
Onto part II of the fun weekend, kermis :)

How long of a workout is insanity? Is it an hour like P90X?? Or is it shorter like Focus T25?? I can't wait until I'm fit enough to do P90X. I had started it a few years ago and it was hard. But I was more in shape then than I am now. So I'll do a few things first! Focus T25 reminds me of like a mini P90X. They do a bunch of the same exercises, but not as many as it's shorter.
 
Burnin off burgers and beers! I completely support that. Sometimes you gotta have some caloric fun to preserve sanity...then you simply pick up where you left off. A meal or two off plan is fine. My problem was a decade off plan.
 
Ouch on the bee sting!!! I really dislike bugs that can sting or bite me!

You should see my arms/hands...Walking in the forest at this time of the years, you get attacked by all sort of hellish creatures that bite you very hard !

But well, I won't stop my diet because of that, so I keep walking :p

Insanity is about 45 mins in the first month, then the second month it's a bit longer, pretty much an hour per workout. So yeah P90X length.
 
had a great weekend, as usual I completely overdid it on Saturday, having a lot of beers, but had so much fun.
Yesterday was also very good, just a nice time at home, didn't go overboard on the BBQ, so that's good I guess

And got two runs in this weekend, despite the freakishly hot weather for a total of 27 km.

Tonight first level 2 workout of 30 day shred. Gonna sweat a lot I guess, temp well above 30 Celsius today (in the nineties for those in the Fahrenheit camp)
