Grey Ghost Hunter's Diary

Just a quick post cause I'm on my way to a party.

The 5K race that I was suppose to run today was canceled due to a little ran. (ppfff.. wimps). Ok, so the wind was blowing a little, (only 60 mph). Thats no reason to cancel a race. Ok, so there was a little lighting (who cares, like thats not going to hurt anybody).

aw - that sucks!

Well I partied it up pretty good last night. I didn't get to bed until 4:00 this morning. So you can imagine just how much of my diet that I completely blew out the door. I can already see the scale this week is going to kill me. I'm thinking I'm going to be back up in the 180's again.

Oh well, I deserved it (maybe)

Hehehe. Well i thought that too after my chips, beer, and hotdog feast... and i went down a lb and a half haha. GO FIGURE.

Ive been a big turd face lately and not so encouraging or posivitve... so i wanted to stop by and let you know i am out of my shitty mood... and I hope you have a great week!!! :) Good luck with the scale... eiether way..... you are gonna rock da house this week!!!! :)

Well just what I expected after my little stint over the weekend costed me. Back up to 180.

Oh well. It wasn't like I didn't expect it.

As for the running and workouts. I have changed them up a bit also. Since I'm not training for any runs as of right now I have reduced my running to just M-W-F. On T-Th, I work out to Gilad on the FitTV channel in the mornings, after which I cont. with some ab workouts that I found that worked pretty good for me. As for the weekends. I do plan on doing something just haven't figured it out yet. I'm pretty sure I can use mowing as a workout considering I live on a hillside and my mower doesn't have self-propel. Sunday I may use as a rest and relaxing day.

Well that's it for now. talk to you later

Kinda jumped off the wagon this past week again and with it my weight. It jumped to 181.

Haven't been real strict this past couple of week cause of things going on. Mainly on the weekends. This weekend will be no exception for it will be the weekend before my birthday. I'm hoping after this weekend things will slow down a bit so I can get back on track. I have been keeping up with the exercising and running, just not the dieting. Once this weekend is over with and my birthday has come and gone, I'm going to kick my ass back into the routine and back on track. I've got 20 lbs to lose and I will not give up.

I will live up to the motto I made for myself.

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!

hey hey... hang in there bud. I did the same thing... had to adjust my ticker... for the worse... up 2 lbs... it was a bummer....

BUT... just get back on the horse... you can do this! Things do happen though.. .life gets busy.

I think i thought i could take a big breath and a sigh of relief because i had been doing so well.... BUT... not a good idea.... a few desserts and a few picnics later... BAM.

why is it is hard to work off the pounds... but so EASY to slap it back on hehehe:cuss:

I am now totally convinced that my scale is screwed up. Last Friday I weighed 182 lbs. On Sunday morning I weighed in at 177 lbs. This morning I am back to 181 lbs. and this is after running 2.8 miles twice a day for the past 3 days and sticking with my diet. I didn't cheat once all weekend because of what today is. There is something really wrong with my scale. Well I think it's time to consider buying a new one. Bad part about it is that this one is only 8 months old. I guess when you by cheap you get cheap.

But today is not the day to worry about that cause I have different plans for today.

There will be now dieting to a point today. AND NOTHING ELSE.

Well I did run this morning. BUT THATS IT FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.
There will be no dieting and only ran this morning. NOTHING ELSE

Well except for work. BUT THATS ALL, AND NOTHING ELSE.
There will be no dieting, only running this morning, and work. BUT THAT'S IT, NOTHING ELSE.

Oh and going out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. AND NOTHING ELSE.
There will be no dieting, only running this morning, work, and going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight. AND NOTHING ELSE.

Oh and hopefully a little something something tonight in bed. BUT NOTHING ELSE.
There will be no dieting, only running this morning, work, and going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight, and a little something something tonight in bed AND THATS IT, NOTHING ELSE.

Why do you ask??????

BECAUSE IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AND I DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING....:sifone::willy_nilly::hat:

hehe this is a cute post......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! :biggrinjester::biggrinjester:

enjoy it!!!

BUT then its BACK TO WORK TOMORROW!!!! hehe :gnorsi:

Weigh-in day. 180. Which I really don't understand since yesterday I was 176 and didn't cheat one once all weekend. Even did extra exercising and work around the house (mowed, weeded complete garden, cut down and removed a tree) to help keep me busy and continuing burning calories.

Hi Grey!
It's probably just water weight. That extra workout stuff always makes me retain water for a few days. Good for you for having an enjoyable active weekend. I think that's the best way to do it, not just obsess about exercising but doing stuff that's useful or fun that also happens to be active... That is when I feel best myself.
Have a great week!

I may have to agree with you K. I weighed myself again this morning and was 177. It is just really frustrating due to the fact that I can't seam to get away from that 180 mark for nothing. I've been fighting with it for almost 2 months. Talk about a plateau (sp).

Oh well, I'm still hanging in and pushing on.

Lately I've been extremly strict with my diet and hopefully start dropping pounds again. We'll see...

Hey Grey:
Just went through that myself buddy.... i couldnt get over that 129 hump for about 3 weeks... i kept fluctuating about 2 lbs eiether way. It will happen... just be patient :)

alot of times if u had salt ... thats all it takes to ramp your weight back up a few pounds.

How have things been going for you? workouts still challenging you? Yard work totally gives you a good work out!!! Thats for sure hehe

Once again I have had to change up my routine. Due to work loads I am now putting in about 14 hr days. Which don't leave much time for workouts. I have pretty much been reduced down to running about 3 miles in morning.

My daily routine is pretty much up at 4:50 a.m., warm up for 5 min., run 3 miles, cool down for 5 min., shower breakfast and leave for work by 6:30. Then it's an hour drive to work, work until 9:00 p.m. and then an hour drive back home.

Not going to be a whole lot of time to do much. Matter of fact I should be working right now, but I thought I would take a quick min and post up.

I'm completely sympathetic with working too hard and having trouble working out. For the last while, I've been working at 5:15 every morning and getting home around 4pm. You know what I DON'T want to do after work? WORK OUT of course. And my schedule is less tight than yours! I am really impressed that you are still managing to get a run in the mornings. That is real persistence and I'm sure that is why you've made so much progress.
Keep your chin up, you're doing great!
Rachel
