Thanks M.
Well where do I start from the weekend. By the time the rain ended on Friday we ended up with 5 inches of rain. Our creek was flooded out of it's banks for about 100yds and ended up flooding over the road infront of my house. That sucked. Luckly by Sat. the water had resided. So it gave me a chance to mow the yard. Talk about a workout. My regular mower died on me so I had to borrow a mower from a friend to mow the yard. Only problem was that the mow only had a 20" deck and was not self-propelled. Now since I live on the side of a hill and have almost an acre to mow it took me 6 1/2 hours to mow. I had my pedometer on, and it said that I walked almost 9 miles to mow the yard. By the time I was done, I WAS DONE. I was so sore I couldn't sleep. Then I spent Sunday on my feet all day at our Archery Clubs 3D shoot cooking burgers and hotdogs. Tell me that wasn't fun. Trying to keep from falling over with my jello legs and at the same time not eating the burgers and dogs.
Anyways I did manage to survive the weekend and when I weighed in this morning after my run. I weighed in at 182. That make my offical weight loss at 30 lbs. WHOO WHOO....

REMEMBER THE VERTERNS
You sound like you really haven't lost much of the fitness you gained while in the army because not a lot of people I know could just up and run a mile without stopping! You're making fantastic progress!!
it lurches forward into the next gear... I was thinking maybe the human body is the same. It must need a backward step for the next big run-up.
