Gotta get thin!

Hubby couldn't come home for lunch today and asked me to meet him at carls jr.

I told myself I would only eat half my meal. I didn't of course. An 800 calorie burrito later..........

Here I am.

So much for making up for yestserday. It could have a lot to do with me skipping breakfast this morning.
 
Yeah, skipping breakfast makes you so much hungrier later. But maybe the 800 calories can be in place of the breakfast as well, sort of even it out?

yah skipping breakfast is a trigger for me....well just put it behind you and move on...

you asked in my journal if i were lookign for work since my recent layoff..and no..i am not...my dtr died in a car accident a few years ago and i never really got a chance to "catch up" with myself..I am going to take advantage of this.... :)

I guess you could say I've had a couple of rough days. I'm even thinking about taking a few weeks off, and just maintain. I have a hard time doing that though, since apparently I have gained two pounds in the past two days.

It totally blows.

Yesterday was OK, as far as food goes.
Skipped Breakfast
Late Lunch: 800 kcal bean + rice burrito
Dinner: quesadilla (500)
Snack: Kiwi w/ some sugar (70)
VitaminWater10 (25)
Total: 1400

I hit the gym for some arms and legs. Then I did 50 minutes of intense cardio.

I've started off today with two bananas. I feel good about today.

I start on Tuesday.

I canceled my interview at the pet store this morning, because my husbands cousins are moving and are borrowing our truck...so we have only one vehicle right now and my husband took it to work. I figured..I don't want the job anyway, I'm not going to waste their time.

you are so tiny!!!!! i dont think your burrito will hurt you too much! esp since you skipped breakfast hehe.... we gotta treat ourselves sometimes! hehe.

You shouldn't let the scale be your master especially when you see negative result. The thing with weight loss is that sometimes the fat changes into muscle and muscle actually weighs more than fat thus the increase of weight and this is actually good.

I would suggest that you keep your scale away from you ( i know it's not easy) but concentrate more on your food intake, eat more vegetables and fruits and limit your carbohydrate intake to 1 cup each serving.

You might be interested to read a book which tells you how to eat satisfactorily and still lose weight, it's called Volumetrics. Check it out at Amazon.

Week long hiatus for me.


I'm scared to weigh in this week, but I'M GOING TO GET BACK ON TRACK!

Hey Kimmy. I went and voted for ya mans band too. I tried to vote a bunch of times but it would only let me do it once. Yeah I'm afraid to weigh in too cause I went to a chinese buffet over the weekend and had way way too much. But for some reason when I woke up yeaterday I was feeling unusually skinny lol. Maybe my trip to the zoo offset my badness. Well I'll talk to you later and I hope your enjoying the new job.
 
This is a crazy stressful week!

I've started two new jobs in the past seven days. They are both going VERY very well and I'm very happy to be working again. The stress and everything else has put a halt to my weight loss..

I am currently at 119 pounds. Which isn't bad, since it is my start weight for May. I haven't lost anything, but I haven't gained either. I haven't been sticking to healthy lately, but I did very good yesterday and am planning to continue to do so.

I haven't been to the gym in a week, either. But yesterday my sister in law and I went on a looong walk at the park with my 4 year old niece. I played with her a lot since my SIL is getting pretty pregnant right now and can't move around as well.

My hubby's band won the LITTLE CAESERS contest! (which is bad for my diet, it means lots of free pizzas)...but it's good exposure for the band :)

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in. I've gotta go to work now.
 
hey kimmy, been a while since i've caught your journal on the front page, but i wanted to say, CONGRATS. Awesome that you have two jobs now. i hope all continue to go well for you and your weight loss picks back up. but have we sometimes have to stand still for a min to re-evaluate some things!
