Gotta get thin!

Just came home from the gym:
60 minutes swimming.
20 minutes on the treadmill.
Light water weights before my swimming, probably not enough to make a difference.
Estimated 600 calories burned.

Time for lunch. I think I'll have something with avocado! YUM!

I have a habit of weighing myself everyday but only Monday weights count because thats when i weigh in with Weight Watchers. I cant wait to get that close to goal. I have like actually 30 pounds, then I will be at the weight I was at before I had kids.

Anyway I wanted to stop by and say HELLO!!!

I totally pay attention to my weight every day, but try not to let it bother me. I always look at my progress from a month ago to keep myself in good spirits!

1 Packet Strawberries and Cream Oatmeal (130)
Avocado on 1 piece of toast with salsa (250)
Green Giant Garden Vegetables (100)
Healthy Choice Portabella Pasta (270)
2 Skinny Cow Fudge Bars (100)
Broccoli and Cheese Steamers (150)
1/2 Avocado (150), 1 egg white (15)
Total: 1165

Burned 750 cals exercising.

Did pretty good today. Yay

Congratulations you've done so well and at a good pace too. Looked at your after picture and you look amazing!

I've still got a bits of fat I need to lose, just all around. I'm hoping a five pounds more or so will take care of it. If not, I may need to lower my goal.

I really want a 24" waist, no matter how unrealistic it is. Right now I'm around 26, but I don't know what it would take to lose 2 more inches. Sigh. We'll see!
 
I just completed my first outdoor run in years!

I mapped my run before I left on google maps. I chose a 4.5 mile run with lots of hills around where I live. I left my house and did a big loops, pretty much. It wasn't the best run I could have chosen.
-Some places had no sidewalks so I had to run in the road.
-It was very close to the freeway and construction.

I made it the first half jogging, without a problem. The second half was so hard and I wanted to give up!
-It's only 56 degrees today AND sprinkling with enough wind to FREEZE me
-It seemed nice outside, and since this is my first run, I didn't know what to expect. I wore running shorts and a t-shirt. I'm still freezing even though I'm inside.

So anyway. It took me 1 hour to run/walk 4.4 miles.
Not the best start. BUT I STARTED!

I'd say it's a pretty Darn Good Start!! Like More Holy Smoking Cow's Tails!!! :D :driving: and next time it will be easier. Did you have any hills? I hatez hills.
 
Yess! I live on the side of a mountain so everywhere I go there is hills one way or the other! I'd have to drive somewhere to avoid hills :(

I'm proud of myself. I wish I had worn a hat though. I didn't expect rain.
 
I feel like I could eat everything in the house! I hate these kinds of days, because I usually WILL eat everything in the house. Tomorrow is a cinco de mayo party, so I don't want to have my cheat day today.

Monday

That puts me right around my caloric limit for the day. It's not even 6pm yet and I feel so hungry. This sucks.
 
Awesome on getting out for the run! Running kills me! Not to mention the black eyes I get from my boobs LOL :smilielol5:
 
I did well last night.

Even though I went over my calories by a little, I didn't go over maintenance calories.

I wanted to eat EVERYTHING in sight.
I ate the last 1/4th of my avocado.
1 oatmeal packet
and I splurged and drank a capri sun. YUM


I had a total of 1475 for the day.
41g protein
56g fat
215g carbs
31g fiber


I am SO INCREDIBLY sore today. I don't know if it's from running hills or if it's from hula hooping so much on the wii. Jeez.

hey kimmy.. ran across ur journal, and thought id say hi! you are so tiny already, you are one inch shorter than me, but such a tiny woman. i look forward to reading through your progress and am super jealous of how light you are. I am 5'3, but super athletic, and i dont think ive ever been smaller than a size 4 or weighed less than 130 since i was 16! keep up the good work, and best of luck w/ur job!

I'm really worried about the job right now. I called to find out and I was told that they have it narrowed down to me and one other person. The idea that someone else could get this job just kills me. I want it so sooo bad, but the other person could very well be more qualified than I am, and that sucks.

I'm trying to keep my head up. I will know for sure in 2 hours or so, but I don't think there's anything else I can do to win them over.

I want to go eat a tub of ice cream.
 
Yes agreed, go for another run, with some great tunes. Relax your mind, by hitting that pavement hard. Even if it's still on your mind. That's ok. ;)

Good job on the push-ups!!! I can do about 5 girlie pushups. :blush5: I can do a half of a normal push-up. I am weak. haha

I am thinking of going consignment shopping, it's supposed to rain maybe though...just to get out for a walk in our lovely weather, and switch my mind from food.

I lose. I went grocery shopping, since I needed to pick up stuff for our cinco de mayo party tonight.

I came home and ate a quesadilla.
only 260 kcals, but I've already had lunch.
It's okay though. I'm going to be careful tonight at the party.

I'm so freakin' nervous, it's unbelievable. I've already started my job search again. :(

Looking is good, but don't act as if you lost the job yet! there's still time i believe in you! also, No worries about the party, you gotta enjoy yourself sometime just don't over indulge! i mean whats one more week or even a few days! I look at it like this, if you were your target weight, would you be so concerned about your portions at the party? if not so much then treat it the same! you are pretty much living life as if you were your target weight, so have a little fun, you know youa re cabale of working off so have fun! I'm also still hyper. I am so milking it here at work!1!
