Gotta get thin!

I'm learning so much!

So the 2 eggs I had this morning had about 430 mg of cholesterol. I see at the American Heart Association's website that I should limit to 300 mg per day. I should probably cut out the yolk on the second egg that I eat in order to keep my heart healthy!

For lunch I had a bag of broccoli and cheese steamers and a boca burger patty. So far I'm at 390 calories for the day, which is extremely low for me. I don't feel hungry at all. I hope I'm doing ok!
 
Friday
Breakfast: Lots of oatmeal with brown sugar (350)
Lunch: Veggies patty with corn and peas (300)
Dinner: Oatmeal Clif bar with Mango slices and an apple (420)
Total: 1070

Saturday
Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar (200)
Lunch: Grilled cheese with Tomato soup (350)
Snack: Green Grapes (80)
Dinner: Olive Garden (Salad and half Capellini Pomodoro with WW noodles) (550)
Total: 1180

Sunday
Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar (150)
Messup: a tiny bit of chocolate chip cookie dough (100)
Lunch: Leftover Olive Garden and a few of Kevin's french fries (360)
Snack: Grapes and baby carrots and a small orange (130)
Dinner: Baked Beans and Toast (380)
Snack: Apple Juice Popsicle (30)
Total: 1150

Monday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with Blueberries
Lunch: Boca Burger on WW bun w/ Avocado
Snack: Raw Baby Carrots
Dinner: Boca Burger on WW bun w/ Avocado
Snack: One Slice of peanut butter toast on WW bread, Apple Juice Popsicle!
Total: 1200

Tuesday:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup quick oatmeal w/ brown sugar
Lunch: Boca Burger w/ miracle whip, ketchup, avocado and lettuce + baked beans
Snack: Hard Boiled Egg
Dinner: Boca Burger w/ miracle whip, ketchup, avocado, lettuce and tomato + tiny bit of macaroni salad (never eat that again!!)
Total: 1400
 
Wednesday
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs (I know now not to eat the yolks!)
Lunch: Broccoli + Cheese Steamers + Boca Burger Patty
Snack: 1 hard boiled egg white
Dinner: Burritos. 2 (110 cal) Tortillas, 1/2 cup refried beans, tomatoes and 1/2 avocado!
Calories: 1000

Exercise: 1 hours kickboxing class

As far as protein, usually I get between 40-50 grams per day. Yesterday I was able to get 60 (which was 25% of my diet).
 
I'm having a bad day.

Not as far as diets go. I'm eating right. So far I had 1 egg white, 2 cups of skim milk and vegetable soup with beans. I just finished my lunch.

I'm sick. Not too sick, but sore throat and slight fever and just blah sick.

I'm shadow boxing tonight in a group class at my gym.. I hope it helps me feel better. I want to feel healthy.
 
Hey Kimmie, hope you feel better soon!

Looks like you're doing great. If anything tho, your calories seem a little on the low side. I'm not an expert by any means, but I do know that when you restrict your calories too much, it can actually backfire on you by slowing your metabolism down, etc. Maybe try adding in a little more protein and fresh fruits/veggies? Just a thought.

You're doing a great job!
 
Thank you for the suggestion! I can definitely do more fruits and veggies, I didn't realize how much I had been lacking in that department lately!

I'm working REALLY hard to get more protein in my diet. I've realized that skim milk can really go a long way. I want to have at least one glass a day, I never realized how much protein is in there!
 
I struggle with protein also. I'm not much of a meat eater and actually prefer veggie alternatives most of the time. Morningstar has some great veggie foods imo. Love their grillers!
 
Oh gosh! I looove their mushroom burgers! Two of those with a little bit of avocado on top and veggies on the side is DELISH!
 
I am so very hungry right now. I knew I was eating a light lunch, but since I am sick (fever and a little nauseous with a sore throat) I didn't feel like eating anything except for soup.

Of course that leave me hungry in the mid afternoon. I feel crappy. I'm sorry for complaining so much. I plan on going to the gym right after work, but with this hunger, it may be hard.

I need a snack, but I have nothing.
 
yeah protein has gotta be up, i dunno what it is for girls, tho im taking in around 320 g a day

as for being sick, dont push yourself too hard, its better to hit it full force when you feel great then try and not do as hot when you are sick
 
I just have my shadow boxing (cardio) class tonight. It's only 45 minutes, and then I'm gonna go home and rest! I think I'll be good!

I was able to get a snack just now! I'm happy, because I was starving! I just got a pear. I'm still hungry, but that should hold me over until dinner.

I need to start eating more. I'm working really hard to get more protein, it's much harder being a vegetarian. If 30% of my diet is protein, I am very pleased with myself!

Lunch: Canned Vegetable Soup with Beans
Snack: 1 Pear
Dinner: Boca burger on WW bun w/ miracle whip, 1/4 avocado and ketchup
Snack: 1 Navel Orange and an apple juice popsicle
Total: 1050 (not eating enough??)

Exercise: 5 minutes at 6.5 mph
45 minute shadow boxing class (really kicked my butt yesterday)

Water: 3 Liters


Still no weight loss. Hopefully it kicks in sooon! I want to look good when bikini weather hits!

I'm still sick, but feeling like I could be getting over it. We're going out of town to my in-laws for Eater + my nephew's 3rd birthday tomorrow! It's supposed to be a very cold weekend.
 
I need help. My husband and I leave work to go home for lunch every day. Today he wants to go to five guys (burgers and fries) for lunch.

I have never eaten there (I am a vegetarian and know how bad fries are). I usually will go to Chipotle (next door) and get a giant burrito and eat the entire thing (probably close to 1000 calories).

I don't want to do that today. I'm thinking about going to get a bowl with black beans, veggie fajitas, guacamole and salsa. I think this is a healthy choice. It will be around 500 calories, I believe. I've been under my daily calorie goal most days this week, so I should be okay....right?

Right?

I got a bowl at chipotle. I skipped on the rice and got two scoops of black beans, veggie fajitas, pico de gallo, and salsa. The whole thing was only 350 calories, so I am pleased with myself.

Also, my husband and his work friends got five guys. They give TONS AND TONS of fries and everyone had left overs. I didn't even pick up one!! And I only drank water...and remembered my vitamin (I never do when we go out).

I'm so proud of myself!

:Angel_anim:Good for you for sticking to your plan! Sometimes its hard. I had to make my daughter and husband some cinnamon twists with icing the other night. They smelled delicious but I didnt even have a taste! After I felt much better. I was also faced with the same scenario a week ago. We went out to get a helmet for my daughter and my husband was hungry. I had an apple when we left the house and I ended up getting a gyro while he ate a big fat double cheeseburger :ack2: I always feel better when I make better choices.

I really almost caved today and got a big huge burrito (I love chipotle).

Last night we were out at a friends house and ended up staying late and ordering pizza! I was lucky because I decided to eat a healthy meal at my house before we left and brought an orange with me to eat, so I wouldn't feel left out when everyone else was eating!

Last night we were out at a friends house and ended up staying late and ordering pizza! I was lucky because I decided to eat a healthy meal at my house before we left and brought an orange with me to eat, so I wouldn't feel left out when everyone else was eating!

I LOVE Chipotle too.. bad thing is when I would eat there id stuff myself full of the WHOLE stinkin burrito! Ohh but I thought its ok im getting black beans and no rice!! LOL what a joke!!! hahahaha... tootles!

I have an ugly zit on my chin. It has nothing to do with weight loss, but somehow has me feeling like shit about my fatness. It brings more attention to my chin and my face has never been 'thin'...so yeah.

I won't be posting in my journal all weekend. I'm going to be out of town, and hopefully tracking my food. I'm trying hard not to expect myself to mess up on Easter weekend. I want to have confidence in myself.

Since I haven't seen the scale move in over a week, it's getting hard to stay motivated. At least I have this forum. It helps a lot.

Lunch: Chipotle Bowl. Black Beans (2x), Veggie Fajitas, Pico De Gallo and Salsa (350)

I'm still unsure about dinner. I will probably have a snack before we leave town so I'm not starving and binge when dinner time comes. Wish me luck!
