I have that problem too (not the constipation - lol) When I look in the mirror, I don't think I look that fat. Big but not totally grotesque. But then I saw the pictures from our wine tour (the one I posted in my before & during pics) I really how big I was.
I think maybe its good that I don't think I'm huge cause if I did then I don't think I would be able to stand myself!!
Okay now to business!! I am cramping sooo bad and I have a headache that has basically been here for like 3 days!! Sometimes I hate being a girl!!
Anyhoo today I jogged like usual. I did it for a little bit longer though 32mins and I jogged a total of 2.55 miles!! Yah for me!! I am gradually working my way up to jogging a whole 3miles. I jogged at a speed of about 5mph and then for like 2mins I jogged 5.5mph. Whew was that hard!!
Next week I am looking to add in my weight lifting on Sunday's and Wednesday's. Just 2 days a week for now then I will move on to more. I am also planning to run at a speed of 5.2mph for my entire run starting Monday!
Wow you are doing fantastic!! Good luck getting up to 3 miles. I know you can do it!! And good luck on the weight lifting. I was totally clueless when I started. Spark's demos really helped me figure out when I should be doing. Shape magazine's website also has some great routines you could try too.
You are doing so great!!! I know what you mean about not seeing someone huge in the mirror. In order to get more motivation, I just took some pictures of myself! OMG is all I have to say. I just couldn't believe it...the camera doesn't lie I'm not sure if it is motivating or plain depressing...overall I wouldn't recommend it! lol

Today I am totally run down I woke up at 4am to take dh to the airport and I figured since I would be awake anyway I may as well go to the gym. So at this point I am exhausted!!! I could just go curl up in a ball somewhere but if I did who would do all of this work!!

Today I ran a total of 2.54miles. I did a little bit longer warm up and cool down so my numbers seem a little funky. I ran at a pace of 5.0 then I increased it to 5.5 then dropped it back down to 5.2 for the end of my run. It felt good getting in there and moving! I feel like I am making progress but I can't tell yet. My clothes don't feel any different but my aunt flo is in town so I won't really know till next week I guess. I am super bloated!! But I know my endurance is picking up I wish that one day I would get on the scale and it would just say 170 then I would be right there! Geese!
It's so hard to be patient! You are doing great with the running! If you feel like you are pushing it too much then you might want to slow down a bit. I don't mean to say that you shouldn't push yourself - you should but I don't want you to get sick of this! You alone know how much is enough though!
4 AM is not an hour that anyone should be awake at! Hope you get a good night sleep!
Today I am feeling not so good. I didn't get a good nights sleep because my 19 month old didn't get a good nights sleep! Boy am I tired. My throat is really scratchy and I have had a headache for like a week. It goes and comes. Okay enought whining!
Today I only ran 1.5miles cause I couldn't breath! My nose is all stuffy and running and trying to breath just didn't work! It took me 20 mins to run this I felt like I should have just stayed home! I was really dissapointed. I hope I can make my goal of running at 5.2 next week. I don't know I can barely walk at 3.5. My whole body aches and I don't know if its because of this cold thing or if its because of my workout.
Tonight I plan to lay lay and lay some more! The good news is I got on the scale today and I was down 2 pounds! That was very exciting and I am still flowing if you know what I mean (Pequin your not the only one that uses this term. I like it alot better than the other words some people us for it!)
Oh yeah I have noticed a decreas in appetite. I don't know if its because I don't feel well or what but whatever works right!
Oh Speedy, I'm sorry you don't feel well. And you were running up a storm. Ah well, you know what they say - rest, liquids, vitamin C. Let's see you drink your soup, take a decongestant, sleep.
Thanks guys! You are both right (Patty/Dreamseaker). I needed rest and I still do but who has time for that when there is so much to be done! I sure wish I did. My hubby wants me to chill out so that when he gets back in town I will be full of energy for extracaricular activities . But I just can't. This morning I woke up and felt a little better than I did yesterday. But my headache is creeping back (I have had this thing for like 2 weeks) and I am all congested. I think I just still felt the left overs from my Tylenol PM that I took last night. So I better get what I did on here so that I can get out of here. I am leaving work early today because I feel like doo!
Today I rean 2.74miles in 34mins at a speed of 5.0mph. I weighed in this morning and I am down to 202! That's something to keep me motivated!

This weekend I did stick to my good eating pretty much anyway. I had a 1/2 of a piece of carrot cake. HMMMM it was soo good.
I weighed in yesterday after my treat and saw that my weight was down to 201.8. wooohhoooo!!
I won't record anymore weight loss til friday though. I did work out yesterday at like 6am. No one was at the gym but I made it so that's all that mattered.

Well I started like in January. I slacked off and teeter tottered at 208 for what seemed like forever (more like the entire summer). I have been working out off and on since March or so and now I am full force. Partially because my hubby goes to the gym daily and I will not let him loose weight without me! So I have been back in full affect since the beginning of September or so! I have dropped from 208-210 down to about 201-202 right now. Kind of slow motion but I want this weight to stay off forever not just for a few days.
Well today I had to talk myself through every part of my run. It was so difficult to keep motivated this morning. My throat is hurting again and boy would I love to lay down! any hoo enough of my whining.
I ran 2.43 miles in 30mins. I gotta make it to that 3 miles. In December I am thinking about doing a 5k. Know one wants to do it with me so I may be solo but I don't really care that much. I just have to take it off of my list then next year I will do a 10k.
