GOING to look lush in that bikini!!

Righhttt, I'm back... again. I've decided to make a new diary, 3rd time lucky, right? I dread to think how much weight I've put back on :ack2: But starting tomorrow (chocolate & rubbish today :/). I'm going to kick myself back into action! I want to lose around 42 pounds so technically at 2 pounds loss a week it should take me 21 weeks. So I'm going to give myself till next june/july ('10). So I can look fabbb for next summer, and so I can feel better and happier with my body - I want my old body back! Starting tomorrow I'll start logging my food intake on here. And I'm not going to weigh myself for a while yet...

Breakfast: Cornflakes, skim milk & sweetner.

Lunch: Jacket potato, baked beans, turkey, sausagemeat, stuffing, pigs in blankets (I'm a young farmer, gotta love meat ;)

Dinner: Tuna mayonaise wholemeal sandwich.

No chocolate! :)
 
Ohh yeah going to try an cut out diet coke (& artifical sweetners), as I have too much of that stuff now - it really fills me up but I've done a lot of research on it and it's known to affect weight loss, so it's out. And anyway water is a much better option :)
 
Righhttt, I know I said I wouldn't for a while yet but.. I weighed myself this morning *gulps* anddd I'm at 136.4 pounds :D I thought I was going to be waaaay more than that, before I lost track on things I was at 135/134. So I'm planning on watching what I eat (I do the exercise, and I love it! :D) up to the 1st january, to give me a sort of kick-start and then 2010 here I come!!!
 
Is your goal still to lose 42 pounds because that doesn't seem healthy since you now weigh 136! 2 pounds a week might be tough because you weigh so little, I know it's getting harder for me - but I'm sure if you put your mind to it you will succed! good luck :waving:

agreed. As soon as i hit 127... its like its pulling TEETH to lose even a pound a month lol.... good lord!!!!


good luck... but im not sure 42 lbs in 21 weeks is healthy...... esp since that will take you UNDER 100lbs.... but best of luck... its your body!

Ohh yeah. No it wouldn't be 42 pounds, probably 36 at the max. But it's hard to tell at the moment, so my first goal is to get to 125 pounds. Thanks for pointing that out! :)

Yeah I definately agree I don't want to get under 100lbs. So my first goal is gunna be 125 and see what I look like at that weight. As you can tell I'm not the greatest at math, ohh dear. Ahaha yeah I think 2 pounds a week is a bit ambitious for me. Thanks for the luck! :)
 
Back into action!!!

No ifs, no buts, tomorrow is THE start of a healthier lifestyle for me. I'm doing this 110% for myself but also to show people I CAN do this. I've always been quite a dreamer on the quiet, and this is one of the few dreams that is achieveable, and purely down to me! There's no point crying, sulking, getting depressed about it, it's only me that can melt this lard off! It's not impossible, yeah it's not going to be a walk in the park, but it will feel all the better for it.

I've decided to start writing everything down however small or seemingly insignificant that goes into my mouth, it seemed to work well last time. I know I can do it, and I know how, just need to put it into practice myself.

Sorry for all the confusion with the pounds, I'm British! So blame it on that, aha. Well everything I do weight wise here is in stones and pounds. 14 pounds to a stone if you're wondering. So I though 3 stone lighter would be nice - I'm 9 stone 10 (ish). So immediately assumed 42 pounds, and didn't realise that would take me below 100lbs. I'm still getting to grips with it - using my fingers everytime :p

Oh yeah by the way does anyone know what happened to, 'RunningGirl'? She was really motivating and supportive. :) Her posts and things just come up with N/A.
 
I think running girl left, try doing your food tracking on a site like calorie king, fit day etc. then link to it from your diary.

weight conversions are not to hard when you get used to it lol, my husband works in stones (he is English), most forum members work in just pounds and there are some of us that work with the metric system. I usually include conversions when I type weights in my diary to keep it simple.

Thanks, yeah I'll definately starting using calorie king or something. Aha yeah I'll get used to it - I've already learnt 140 lbs = 10 stone off by heart!
 
Right I'm officially re-starting tomorrow & actually to be quite honest can't wait! Like I've said before writing every little thing I ate really helped me so I've found a small notepad which I'll write down what I eat & then at some point transfer onto here.. I've also got an exercise bike & treadmill which I was pretty much given & virtually unused - get in. So will use those in the evenings as well. I can do this. I will do this. :)
 
Anything is possible if you set your mind to it. But if you have a bad day, don't say that you will start again tomorrow, start again immediately. A bad choice at lunch shouldn't prevent you from eating a sensible dinner or working out in the evening. Even as I write this, I just finished a Wendy's cheeseburger on the way home from my husband's office. Sure, it wasn't the best choice for dinner but I skipped on the fries and soda and as soon as my food settles, I'll be on the treadmill working out. Take everything in stride and it will work out!

So yeah I haven't been on a bit mainly because I went off the rails... badly :'( :ack2:

But I'm back - it's not over yet!

WILL start logging my food tomorrow! I'm all set and ready! :D
 
I just set up my diary and I'm going to be logging each day's menu too... hopefully it will shame me into keeping on the straight and narrow!! :)

WOW, I haven't been on here in an age. But unfortunately nothing good to report :'( Christmas was good, lost weight. Then BAM, it all went down hill, way down hill. Mainly because I've being doing less farm work as I was concentrating on studying for exams, and no working out. But my last exam is wednesday. So it'll be back on track. I'm starting a fresh tomorrow, I say that cuz I'm not going to eat anymore today and I've just had a TONNE of chocolate icecream, it was heaven at the time, and now I feel crappp. Hello food baby.

So I WILL start logging food tomorrow, gym - thursday onwards, and getting on with exercising horses now the snow is gone :D

My goal is to reach 105pounds by June/July. And I'm going to work hard to achieve this but the bigger goal is going to be September.
