Haha, you're on! Geez I can't wait till I hit that 20 lb mark. It seems like forever before I hit the 35 lb mark but I got to get there. Lot's of work and dedication are going to have to emerge sometime soon. lol

I'm in. It looks like Vegas should be an annual thing for us. This time though we are going to be a lot smaller than last year. It will be great to see all the people we've never met before but have been part of this journey with us. Can't wait.

Glad to see you're back girl. It's been quiet without you here. lol How was the cruise?? I know a cruise would be dangerous territory for me. Buffet's? Forget about it. I would come back 10 lbs heavier and that's just from a 4 day cruise. That's why we're going camping. We can lose weight on vacation as oppossed to gaining it.

This week has started off kind of rocky. I have to go grocery shopping otherwise I go for easy which is not the best option for me @ this point. Easy means fast food and we all know there is nothing good for you about fast food. :banghead:

I need to keep having "good weeks" instead of having one good week and one bad week. I need to clear my head and really start picturing what I want to look like. Mind over matter. Right now all I see is a long road ahead of me.

I think my vacation will help with that so now I really can't wait to get out of here :driving: and get some new prospective on things.
 
Hey Girl! I hear ya, this week started out with a 1 pound gain. I didn't think I did that bad on Sunday. Must have been the sweets that took me over.

We just have to do what we can when we can, know what I mean? Sure I'd love to have a good week every week too, but as long as we don't give it, it doesn't really matter. We'll get there!! We knew this wasn't going to be easy, but damn! Look at how far we've come!

WoooooHOOOO!! I know.....I LOVE VACATIONS....and the CRUISE was great....still been in an EXERCISE slump.....but eating well......;) I"M EXCITED for VEGAS though!!!!

I'm totally looking forward to Vegas. Not only is it a great place to go but I get to meet everyone who has been a great support system in this time of weight loss. lol Can't wait to meet everyone.

Did you make your list? Have you really sat down and wrote out what you are working towards and why? This might help you re-focus, otherwise you are right...it's so easy to get tangled up in the small little battles of deciding what to eat for lunch that you forget the big picture and the real reason behind doing this in the first place.

I had to say that you are looking fantastic. I know it seems like a slow process but just know that we didn't gain this weight over night and we are not going to loose it overnight. We really need to work on incorporating more physical activity in our lives along w/adding some serious weight training to work on our muscle mass. The last thing we want to do is get all this weight off and not be able to maintain because we are being too sedentary. Let's get moving and shaking!!

I need to make a list for a lot of things for this point in my life because so much of it goes hand in hand. I need to stop making excuses as to why I'm not getting up in the morning to exercise and just do it. I'm a little overwhelmed by things but I need to take control of the things I really can.

This has been a good week food wise. I went grocery shopping and that takes the pressure off when I'm hungry because I only buy good food. I know with the support of the people that love me I can do anything. I just have to remember to love myself too.
 
Great job shopping for good eats. That does make things a whole lot easier, doesn't it??

We've got 22 weeks till vegas. There's no reason we can't lose at least 20 by then. That would be so great!! I think we are capable of more though. We need to smoke the competition!

The exercise will really help with the stress and allow you to rid yourself of any nervous or negative energy. I'm sure you already know this but once you get into the routine of getting up at the same time every day to work out your body will start to go on auto-pilot. I tell ya...sometimes just when I think I'm going to skip my workout and sleep in my body just gets itself out of bed and gets dressed. It's strange but also comforting to know that it's becoming so routine that it's just a part of my overall daily routine.
