God I Need Help

First I would like to say Happy New Year to everyone. Today and yesterday I was up by 6 hitting the pavement. Yesterday I dragged myself up this hill that makes you just want to roll down it. Today I actually went jogging and wow what a differance not doing anything for three months can make on a person. My throat still hurts from coughing. But I did it and I'm going to do it again.
It's a new year and I'm ready for the "real" me to come out of this shell. I can do it and I know I have to. Big things are going to happen this year I just don't want to be big for it. lol Good luck to all the people who have stuck behind me. xoxo:hurray:

Hey girlie! How is your week going so far? You up in the AM working out?

We seriously need to train harder and smarter this time for the 1/2 in March. I'm going to a long run this weekend if you want to join.
 
Sorry everyone it's been a few days since I've been here but no worries I've been working hard. I did get up and go jogging/walking on the days I don't have to be at work at 6:30. I've been eating fairly good but I can do better. I had a rough day day yesterday so it was KFC for me. I'm not sure why I go to food for comfort but it is comforting. LMAO. Hola! I know what you mean about trying to get back on it after 3 months. I went to the track yesterday and was pretty slow, so I just eased into it. I regressed!! Trying to get back to at least where I was before the SJ half marathon. Sheesh.

Glad to see you up and at it in the mornings. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

Keep up the good work!

I was up and at em this morning but my goodness it was cold. It feels great though when the blood starts pumpin and you get all toasty. lol

Hope everyone is working to their fullest cuz we all NEED to get healthy. This is our year for great things girls, we just have to be willing to recieve them. None of it can happen if we are in the wrong mind frame. Mind over matter. I see myself thinner all ready. hehe.

I was up at the butt-crack of dawn again doing my route outside. It feels good to work-out in the morning. It gives me energy that lasts my work-day. When I get home I'm ready for bed and to do it all over again the next morning.
I just have to get my eating under controll but I bought good food to snack on instead of sweets and fried food.

Ok so this is my first time here and I'm excited to be starting a new chapter in my life. My best friend and her twin sister are the reason why I'm here. We all decided to run our very first marathon together in October and being here will give me something to be accountable for. If evereyone can see my progress (or lack there of) maybe I will work just a little harder. I would like to be able to run most of the marathon without stopping, lose 25 to 40lbs, lose 2 to 3 dress sizes, and most of all, feel great!! Here's how I plan to acheive those goals:

1- calorie intake of 1200-1500 per day

2-cut out more sugar in my diet

3- jog at least 1.5 - 2 miles per day while increasing daily

4- keep hydrated

5- eat more fruit, veggi's, and fiber

6- go to the gym for weight training


If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear from you. To my two girls,
"Let's get this party started"
 
Hey Girl! Glad to see you are up and at it. Feels so good when you get that out of the way first thing in the morning. It is warm and sunny today! I'm scared!! The warm weather is around the corner and I am no were near where I need to be.

What day are you coming over this weekend? Sushi? Yumm!!
 
I'm going for a long run this weekend. Bring your tennies...I'm dragging you out with me. Ariake's sounds good but I need to not sit at the boats or else I will over eat. Let's get a table and order our sushi the old fashioned way!

We can go to the track on Saturday if you want. Bring your running shoes. Hopefully it will be warm and sunny like it has been.
 
So it's been forever since I've been here but to update everyone I joined Weight Watchers with my girlfriends. I'm on the flex plan and I lost 2.4 pounds the first week. It's a little time consuming writing down everything you eat but it really opens your eyes to what you eat. It helps you be accountable for what you feed your body and you tend to eat healthier when it's in black and white.

I have not been able to exercise lately tho. I'm working from 7 to 6:30 everyday and I can't drag my self out of bed at 4:30 to go for a walk or run.
When my work schedule calms down then I can start working out earlier.

it really is enlightening... and when you're being accountable -it makes you really ask yourself if you do indeed want to eat that? :D

Girl, get your butt up and get to the gym or out for a walk. I don't want to hear this getting off at 6:30pm nonsense. I got home at 9pm last night and still got up to work out this mornin'!! We have to step it up if we want to be ready for summer in a few months....take no prisoners!! hahah
