God I Need Help

Ok week one was a dissappoinment for me. I only lost one pound and I was going tfor two. I have to work harder this week. My girls however did fabulous. Way to go!!!
 
1lbs is nothing to be disappointed about. You did a fabulous job this week. It's always a good sign to see the scale going down rather than up isn't it? Keep up the great work and you'll be dropping those pounds before you know it. Sending you lots of love and support girlie. You can do it!

Better to be a pound less, than a pound more!! Congratulations! Did you put anything in your can yet?

You may have lost even more than that, I don't know if your scale reads partial pounds or not.
 
One more thing, I read once that you should keep your scale in a stationary place, trying not to move it much so that you don't throw off the calibration of the scale.

I notice you have to slide yours out everytime you use it. That might effect your numbers a little. Just thought I'd let you know....:confused:
 
Day?

Ok just like regular diary I can never seem to write in them daily. Monaday and today got up at five and went to the gym and all three days I've been eating pretty well. No fast food and no super high in fat food either. All in all i feel pretty good about this week so far. Just got to watch those crazy weekends.:) Till next time you all have a great day.

Great job Ruthie! Eating healthy is most of the battle. I was just writing in Yolanda's diary that we need to really eat healthy over the long holiday weekend. The weekends are what gets us side tracked. If you come over this weekend I say we BBQ some lean meats and grill up some veggies! We can do healthy...just have to really work on it. hahaha I promise not to sabotage us.

Yes I'm a posting slacker. I almost didn't want to post anything for the weekend because it was BAD. Friday was good. Got up and worked out at the gym for about 45 minutes then ater well for most of the day. Saturday the girls and I went to the track for about two miles. (a little more for others) Then I ate nothing but crap for the next two days and a whole lot of it. I have to bust my butt for the week. Didn't step on the scale because I didn't feel like crying on this fine Monday morning. Anywho you all have a great holiday!!
 
I wouldn't go so far as to say you ate nothing but crap for 2 days. We did eat some fresh fruit and veggies too. I am sure the BBQ Saturday night, and the homecooked lunch were far healthier than the fast food we used to eat on the weekends. It was the chips and sweets that did us in. Yikes!! Well, that is the past, no looking back. Today is a new day.

It's Monday, a whole new week. We'll do great this week!!! We can do it!
 
It's a new week and the possibilities are endless for success! Enjoy your last week at your old job. It's time for some new changes. Stay good with the eating and exercising and if you come over this weekend we can BBQ and go play some tennis! We can work up a sweat so if we do have some cocktails or snacks it won't set us back.

So now it's Thursday and I've gone to work out everyday except for Monday, so I feel pretty good about that. I've eaten preety good as well. I think I burnt myself out on junk food for a minute;). I did however make a buttermilk chocolate cake but it's for my employee's since tomorrow is my last day. I will only have a piece or 5. lol

My daughter comes home for the weekend so maybe her and I can stay active during her stay home.

OUUUU!! Awesome job on the working out! Keep it up and you'll be looking like a million dollars in no time! Chocolate cake? One piece won't hurt...just make sure to leave the left overs with your employees! hahaha

Hey Ruthie! How did your weekend turn out with Shortie? I'm glad you were able to come over on Friday and celebrate your new beginning. I hope tomorrow is awesome for you at the new job!

I did it! I made it the full 6 miles...next week I'm shooting for 7. It took me 1 hr 22 mins...I was at the track forever! LOL I am going to go for another long run next Sunday if you want to join. I would prefer to do it Saturday but I have a self defense course later in the day...don't want to be too exhausted for that.

What are your goals this week? I really need to work on my diet. It's really holding me back on the scale....

Hey girlie! How did your first day on the new J.O.B go? What is the story with lunches? Do you need to pack a lunch or is there somewhere healthy near by? What do the other employees do? Do they go out to eat? Hoping you can establish a healthy eating routine at lunch time so we can keep seeing great results. Keep up the great job on the working out! xoxo
 
I didn't get up and go to the gym this morning because I was exhausted and wanted to get plenty of sleep for the first day of my new job. I think I'm going to pack my lunch for work so I can monitor what I eat and not be tempted by fast food.
I'm going to bed shortly so I can be up and hit the gym. The progress is slow in this adventure but definately going in right direction. I want to thank my girls again for their continued support. Love you guys.
 
I think bringing your lunch is a great idea!!! That will help for sure.
