Glenn's imput diary

I am pretty pumped today!!! I went to the gym and I am down another few pounds.....And the funny thing is I thought I was going to be at around the same weight considering I was not eating as well as I was before. Plus I have not done P90X in like 10 days....

I will say for anyone trying to loose weight, you here it time and time again. Diet is the number one way to loose weight....I mean I haven’t been eating really bad that past few days, but still nothing extremely healthy, and I have only been doing about 30 min of cardio at lunch......
Hey GrEAT JOB Madman!!!! That is amazing that you are down this morning! I keep hearing about everyone talking about this P90x thing.....really makes me wanna see what it's all about!?!?! You sound like you are on an amazing track there! I have no worries that you will look amazing for your wedding, and CONGRATS :) by the way!

.....Jz, has a great point, I think that now since this past week of logging my meals into a system that counts them, I have controlled my eating a bit more, and I actually feel slimmer this morning too! Gotta say,....it's really the best way of staying accountable for EACH AND EVERY move of your day.....with no lies to oneself, if you know what I mean?!?! Cause it's so easy to get frustrated at the end of the week, and think damn, I didn't lose, but then when we REALLY look back at our actions that week, who do we have to blame, except ourselves right?!?!!.................

I WISH YOU the best on your JOURNEY as well!!! :grouphug:

Hey!!

I thought I would read your Diary since you always leave me comments on the pics:) Thats so good that you lost some more lbs, keep it up!

I know you said that you thought you had stayed the same but I think its because we eat less even though its bad but at the sametime we still know that were trying to lose weight and not to really go over board.... does that make sense...lol

Congrats on you getting married! You should def. be at your goal by then:)
I also seen your pics and I think that you looked nice at the 215 weight since it didnt look like fat just muscle.

I hope you have a great week and lose some more lbs!!!!

Good luck with your fitness venture as well as the upcoming wedding. Just a few thoughts after reading your journal here...take them as you will, I am no expert...just speaking from my own experiences. Try to record what you are eating everyday. This alone is a great tool to keep "crap" out of your mouth. Who wants to write... 10 medium wings from Hooters with wedge fries and three tall budwiesers??? Second, I know about the busy with work and family thing... trust me. If this is important to you, take some time to plan and organize so everything is just routine and you don't have to spend so much time each day preparing meals, logging workouts...and so on. Read the stickies here. They are full of great advice on nutrition, weight training, and planning. Add those things to the drive you seem to have already and... no problems acheiving your goals.

Good luck to ya!

JZ thanks for the helpful tips on checking out the stickys, I will definitely check them out.

My life is a crazy one to say the least. I am always on the go, doing everything and anything. If I’m not working, I am doing side projects designing or drawing someone’s house plans, or trying to find time to work on my modified car, hang out with friends and family.

I think I will def. try to stay on top of keeping the diary up to date in order to have a self check. But I will see what happens.

Alta

Thank you for the positive feedback; I totally know what you mean about needing to record the things you eat in order to keep accurate records. Its tough just like JZ said, if you eat a large plate of pasta and garlic bread, it’s not the easiest to come put it out there. BUT!!! We all need to be accountable. So with that said I will do my best to record my meals.....especially the slip ups.

I am confident as well that I will be at a good weight by my wedding, if I can maintain the road I’m on right now.

O and ps the P90X is real intense, I will tell you it hard to get motivated to do it, but if you can, you will def. see results, its a great DVD collection. I would say its Ideal to do it with a partner in order to keep you motivated. I have only done it 7-8 times this month, and then just fell off. But I am going to get back into it. After 1hr you are sweating like a beast. Feels great!!! lol

Amber

Thanks for droppin a line, and thanks for the compliments on my old pics. You see I used to be slim then I bulked up, then I just ate with out continuing to work out....
So underneath my chub I have a good structure to deal with. My plan of action is to continue doing lots of cardio and light weights until I’m down to like 195-200, then I will start lifting bigger weights again. I don’t want have to slim of a build.

....and about the food thing, it is HARD, I'm telling ya, this past week alone, finally committing to do this for myself as well,....I've realized I eat way too many sweets.....:banghead: It is a process.....and You do have a great frame to work from ;) hahahah!!!

....Hey the great part is at least you have some of those pics with your frame in em,....I only have before ones ;) BEFORE THE FRAME APPEARED!!! lol

Hey Paulab

I have been busy busy searching for a house, wedding stuff and work.....I have missed the gym a full week....I’m kind of pissed.

I will hit it up tomorrow......I am slipping a bit, nothing too crazy, but I had a few drinks on the weekend and I told myself I wasn’t going to drink for awhile...

Stressing a little about the stock market as well, Loss some cash, and just trying to forget about it and move forward.

Today I had

bagel with butter, milk in the morning

Lunch I had lean microwave meal...260cal, banana, fruit cup.

Tonight Im planning on having tacos, I have to use my meat up, and left over groceries.
Not the best but I will try to only have a couple.

Im planning to hit the gym up and do some intense cardio for an hour.

Hey there sorry to hear you lost some cash!!! :( Sucks...my boyfriend is a "stocks day trader" so I know how you feel! :iagree:

Good job for getting back on the Wagon!!!!:gnorsi:

Hello guys,

Thanks for the support. Things are intense these days; I was just in a large battle for a sweet property that ended up in my favor!!!! whoop whoop.

My fiancée and I Just bought a House, amazing deal. A one year old home that went into foreclosure (which does not happen much in Canada), and we scooped it up. Was not easy though, it was a hot property and there were four other couples fighting for it!

So that is a big reason I have not been on the board. It also has let me slip a bit, but only a bit, I have not totally fallen back into the crazy splurges.

Hey Glenn... congrats on the house! Sounds like a good one if that many of you were fighting over it! Forclosure is an everyday word in America right now. :eek:/

Hope you come by to visit WLF more often now that the house is out of the way! :seeya:
