So you cycle to work every day. Man, that would be the way to go. Do you have an expensive bike? I was talking to someone who wants to do his first triathelon, but he said the bikes you have to buy are like $1500 dollars.
I've only had cheap Walmart bikes when I was younger, but I could see myself really getting into a good day or two of cycling in the warmer months if I can get a cheaper bike that'll hold my big self.
I bought my bike (SCOTTUSA) for about £200 so about $300, mountain bike, I must have done about 4000 miles in 5 years on it, a couple of services and a clean every couple of weeks and it is in good shape.
But I fancy running to make a real stab at fitness now my weight is close to my target and i have reduced the strain on my joints.
Way to keep up with the exercise. Btw, what is the Miles, Pounds, Hours thing? I was guessing it may be miles cycled and hours cycled, but that doesn't make sense if you did 52 miles in 0 hours.
is
Miles (total miles exercised, running, cycling etc)
Pounds (total pound lifted eg 10 bench presses 100lbs would be 1000lbs
Hours (anything that could not be measued by the above 2, eg playing basketball, soccer for 1 hour)
Cord the seeker ran a MPH challenge a couple of months ago and I liked the format to keep a trek of exercise.
