General hysterical diet related rambling: From Flab to Fab.

Fleur At first the trampoline got my heart rate up a lot, as I was so unfit. I quite liked jumping on it twisting from side to side watching MTV. Now I do it on autopilot whilst I'm watching 60 minute makeover on telly. I almost forget I'm jumping actually. Saying that, I'm only just getting back into the habit again after a weeks break of no exercise. I know I need to step it up a bit now. And that's what I am going to do! Lily has FINALLY got into a nursery (in september- thanks to my wonderful angel of a health visitor writing to them all because she copies Charlies behaviour a lot), so I'll be able to join the gym then :D Think I'll still do the trampoline for 10 minutes or so in the evening.

You would most definitely give yourself two black eyes tetm :D, Even I have to wear two bras, and I'm only a B cup :)

I did take a picture of my dinner yesterday, but it looked disgusting Jasper :/ All the juices from the ratatouille leaked under the chips. And the poached egg broke up a bit, making it look a bit vomit-y :) I am not hungry now, and humorously tired, so I won't be having dinner tonight, but I will start taking pics again tomorrow!

Your right fortyfour, I did tell myself that this would be a once off until after I have a tummy tuck, but the reality would be that when they came back they would seem even more horrific to me, and I would just get them done again. The filler she used (restylene) lasts 6-12 months. But that's not much use if there's no difference! .......Dieting is about common sense, if you use it, then you'll lose weight without counting calories :)

I AM PAST THE HALF WAY MARK IN MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY!!!!!!!

I lost 3.2 pounds this week :D So I'm only 4 little pounds away from being a healthy bmi, whoop whoop!!!!! I also bought myself a dress, and guess what size it is, a small-medium! I really liked it but they only had that size. My bf said "that's tiny, it won't fit". But it did. It is very short especially at the back, and I felt so exposed. People were looking at me, and for once I thought they might be looking at me admiring my legs, rather than looking at me thinking "Ewwwww".

My waist has gone down by another 1/2 an inch as well, making it 31 3/4's :)

I may as well stick up a pic of my progress so far :) To celebrate being half way. There will be two more official comparison photos, and I can't wait to be sticking them up!

The first picture is me at about 14 stone 10 (206lbs, ), the second is at 13 stone 8 (190lbs), and the third is at 12 stone 6 (174lbs). I have tried to keep my head the same size, and my knees and shoulders in the same place so you can see my difference in width easily.

I went to a play day in the park with the kids today (a big field filled with marquees, play areas, glitter, screaming kids and crying adults). Walked all the way there and back, about 2.5 miles, plus loads of walking around. There is a little farm beside it, so we went there as well. I had a much needed 3 vodkas and cokes in the pub on the way home. Charlie has been having major meltdowns all day, my nerves are frazzled, and I am so glad my bf is the one giving the kids a bath and putting him to bed right now.

Food
Apple and a plum
1 ham and tomato granary sandwich and half a roll.
5 mini nori crackers
two large handfuls of nacho's with cheese, dips and jalepenos
1 double vodka and orange, 1 vodka diet coke.
cadbury's creme egg ice cream
2 smallish boxes with raisins, cranberries, chocolate bits and nuts.
2 plums.
= 2300ish.

Exercise
Low estimate- 4 hours slow walking.

...Omg!!!!!!! I cant explain my excitement for you!!!! To have a healthy BMI is something so far away for me....but you are so so close and it gives me such inspiration that I know in a few months it will be me too!!!

You look stunning...your "gams" go on for miles and miles....congrats on provening the Bf wrong...you go on with your sexy sassy self :)

:D Thanks!!!! I know, I can hardly believe it either, I am looking at my ticker, and it says 25 point something. 25!!!!!!! I joined here in the middle of may, and its only the beginning of August now. The change you can see in just 12 weeks or so are incredible. I used to to at some peoples tickers with extreme envy, the ones who had lost loads of weight. But mine is further than half way now, and in only another 8 weeks or so it will be saying 50lbs lost, 9lbs to go. Then it will be alllllll the way at the end, and I will finally be properly slim :D I am one of those people who are DOING it! WE ALL ARE!!!!! ITS GREAT :D!!!

To anyone new reading this, who has had constant diet see-saws, you can do it too! Every other week I find it really hard for one reason or another, but just push on through the hard parts and you will be sitting there one day realising that your very nearly a healthy bmi too.

I agree, I love seeing photos of what other people have eaten as well, it comes alive a lot more.

Tomorrow will be a lovely day.
 
You really just motivated the crap out of me. I've had a tough two days that were just downers and I'd been feeling crappy. Just wanting to give in to cravings, etc. But your success is really driving me now! Thank you so much for being here and sharing your story. I don't think I could do this without this place!

Your face looks so different. Your legs are so so skinny and look at those collar bones (sorry, i'm obsessed with collar bones, that's the most noticable thing about me at the moment) And you look like you have kept your boobs too!!!
You look truely stunning. I would be bloody ecstatic to be that size at goal!!
You have really given my insentive a good boost. I must remember to look at your pic's when i am having a low point. I can't put into words how chuffed i am for you.

Ohmygod, it was so delicious my taste buds almost climaxed.

It is 665 calories per serving, but that includes 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter at 150 calories (you could use less), so it could be done on a lower calorie dinner budget.

That plate look yummy!I read that itis duck?i never have had duck.Is the taste similar to some other meat?
 
rainbow, i hadn't noticed the tiles in the picture, let alone that they could use a clean, at all and i bet no one else did. I was so engrossed with the food in the picture which looks totally gourmet.

I am also jealous that you've worked out how to make the pictures big. How do you do that. I only get a string of thumbnails at the bottom and i know where to get the option of bigger pictures. Please tip me off.

Back to your body shots. Definitely i can see the weight loss on your middle. But you know what, i love your hair and face in the first shot as much as in the others. It is sweet and maybe its your pose too leaning against the man like that. I also like the grey cardi over the short dress. Your legs are going to be very very lovely when you reach your goal. They are definitely not your problem area. Even my naturally fatty legs are looking good with the weight loss i've achived so you are going to be so incredibly gorgeous i am jealooooooooooooos.

Restylane - we used that product. They used to claim 5 months back then but it never lasted that long. Perhaps the product has been improved somewhat but don't hold your breath lovely although i hope for your sake, it does last.

OMG! That dish looks so yummy. And I've never had duck before! How is it even under 700 calories? That seems impossible!

It was LOVELY! Hmm... duck.... Its sort of like beef, but with a texture like lamb. Its got a nicely rounded, rich flavour, I can't really describe it, but its lovely. And the dressing on it brought out every single molecule of taste :) You should try it Fleur.

Fortyfour Thank you :D I won't be getting fillers again, I could have saved that money towards my tummy tuck, where it would definitely make a difference. There is no point in getting miserable about it tho, you live and learn!
