From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Try brushing your teeth after dinner? I've had some success with that in the past, it's like it shuts the gate mentally on any snacking afterwards.

Things will settle Q & the stress should diminish as you get further along with your new job. Limit the damage mate. There's no going back for you!

Ah yes. If it's tied to stress it's not ideal. Though sometimes if you say in the morning or day before I am going to have this for snack at 8pm you remove the emotion from it and it becomes planned. But not everyone is the same. I couldn't do my diet without some evening snacks, but some people feel they need to eliminate them for various reasons to make their diet work for them.

I'm doing much better this week. I've been working hard in the field and just hanging on to the streak. Eating has been good. I snacked on pineapple, banana, and some cracked last night, but only because I got real bad leg cramps. I sweat too much and only drank water. I still hit a big calorie deficit yesterday with the snacks.

I'm wearing a large shirt at work today so I can't be too off track.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Hey Q, glad you're back on track. Stress can knock us for a loop. One of my favorite sayings is "Adapt & Overcome."

Late evening snacking was a big problem for me, so I make sure to save enough calories through the day to accommodate it in my overall daily calorie count plan. Breakfast was never a big thing for me, so I eat fat free cottage cheese and fruit for breakfast. Lunch I can usually eat very healthy, by supper I know how many calories I have left for the day and adjust there for something later. Usually a light English muffin with reduced cal strawberry cream cheese or something involving peanut butter.

I figure if that's been a problem for me, I might as well plan for it. Problem solved.

I love love love pineapple! One of my absolute favorites. Actually having that for breakfast with cubed ham. I know, a weird breakfast, but oh so yummy! Happy to hear you're fitting into a large shirt these days. Definitely on the right track. Keep it up! :)

Thanks Cate, glad to hear it!
Thanks LaMa, me too!
Thanks Bugdude! I think I'm over the hump with my evening snacking.
Thanks Mystic, I keep getting better this week.
Thanks Mandy! Sounds like a very Hawaiian breakfast.
So a 30:15 5K for day 120 yesterday which broke me out of a slow run rut. Eating very well and feeling pretty good.

Getting things back together by the sounds of it Q. We all come across speed humps, but they're not much fun xoC

E should be jealous with all this attention from lovely ladies. I haven't been around much, but I had a great trail run and food day yesterday. I've shed a bit of rebound weight already. I've been doing some serious Spring cleaning and a good bit of reading.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Happy to hear you're losing your rebound weight again. I'm still working on getting rid of mine. Haha! Hope you're doing well too. :)

Yay for losing rebound weight! Mine's starting to come off, such a good feeling. :) I really need to do some Spring cleaning... maybe next week. lol. I'm glad you're doing good!

It's good to see you doing well again Q. Spring cleaning is good for the soul. I have just done a good de-cluttering & cleared so much stuff to the Op shop! When you buy most of your clothes at the Op shop anyway it does not feel like being wasteful when you turn around & buy more.

Did you forget a word after "cracked," like walnuts or oats? Or, did you mean to type "crack?" If you did, I won't judge. I've heard crack is a GREAT way to lose weight.
