I was certain that I would lose another pound, but my best laid plans went awry and I am stuck at 25 pounds lost, but that ain’t too bad for 4 weeks and 3 days and I am within a pound of the 4 week goal that I set.

I think the mistake that I made yesterday is that I had 2 meals with pasta and too much fruit. Truth is I just like fruit more than vegetables but I need to replace one banana with a few carrots. I do like carrots raw. I can only meal with pasta a day at most. That’s fine with me, I prefer Cajun and Chinese meals anyway.

I exercised for 90 minutes yesterday which is another reason that I am disappointed that I did not lose another pound.

Actually I weighed myself later and I was down a pound. It seems to fluctuate according to how much water I have had to drink. Yes, I will be eating lots of rice in NOLA.:coolgleamA:
 
Cleaned house yesterday, walked, rowed and biked, so got hours of exercise, didn't precisely measure time. Weighed myself this morning and it showed me down a pound on one scale and down two on the other. On average I am down 5 lbs. in 5 days which is exactly where I want to be. Next week I won't have a scale so I will be flying blind.

Btw, I was down another pound today. That makes 7 lbs. lost so far this week with one more day left on the 1200/1500 rotation.
 
Down .6 lb. Today. All toll I lost 29 lbs. in 5 weeks. I’ve cut as much fat as possible out of my diet while still eating a well balanced diet. I’ve drastically reduced the amount of bread that I eat and completely eliminated mayo and chips from my diet. I miss salsa but not the chips.

Today starts the real test. I am about to leave for New Orleans.

So far I have eaten at K Paul's Shrimp and Andouille Creole and Remoulade's Taste of Louisiana and I have pretty much stayed on my diet.
 
Despite eating all that fabulous food in New Orleans, I did not gain any weight. Probably because I did so much walking (about 2 hours a day) in the French Quarter.
