Free's Rotation Diet Diary

Glad to hear you got your fat grams under control and got your weight back down, but why stop at 2100. I thought you planned to go up to 2400?:bigear:

If I don't gain weight at 2100 then I will kick the calories up to 2200 etc. My goal is to get to a calorie and fat gram intake level where I don't gain or lose. Then on Sunday I will go back to 1200 calories and hopefully I can lose another 7 to 10 pounds in the 1st week of my next rotation.

:driving:

I will be in my Favorite Food City, New Orleans,Friday of next week and, of course, I will want to eat at my Favorite Restaurants, so I am going to go back on the 1200/1500 Calorie rotation tomorrow, so that I don't have count calories at K-Paul's, that would be sinful.

I envy you. Which restaurants are you going to eat at. I love Antoine's and The Palace Cafe.

I love Antoine's but haven't been there since Albert Tujague used to treat me and my girlfriend. I also love the appertizers at the Palace Cafe. I'll probably eat there for lunch. I usually have a sit-down dinner and an couple of take-out lunches from K-Paul's which is absolutely my favorite. Remoulade Bistro, Fiorella's, Acme's are all good low priced places that I like to eat.:cheers2:

I am pissed at Walmart. I paid for 1 day delivery of my scale and I did not get it yesterday, so I am still stuck with my analog scale. The good news (if correct) is that I lost over a pound in one day on 2150 calories.

I starting on my second rotation today, 1200 calories today, Sunday and Monday, so that by the time I get to New Orleans I will not be on severe calorie restrictions. I will be eating the foods I like in NOLA just in smaller quantities.

The lessons that I learned in first rotation is that the keys to diet success are sticking strictly to the rotation, eating well balanced meals with low fat grams and EXERCISING with continuous movement like walking, rowing or cyling.

:sifone:

Lost over 26 lbs. in first 4 week rotation and I did not slow metabolism. In fact, I think I sped it up a bit.

Sounds like you've got a good plan. I think I might try it when I start my rotation diet in 2 weeks. Good to know that as I expected overdoing it with fat gram loaded almonds is what got you off track.

Good News is I got my scale from Walmart. The bad news is my old scale was off 6 pounds so I only lost 20 pounds on my first 4 week rotation.

Sorry to hear that but 20 pounds in 4 weeks is great.

1 more week of freedom for me until I go on my diet. I wish I could spend this week in New Orleans splurging.

well done on the 1lb loss :)

:seeya:

Well, I finally weighed myself this morning and I lost 3 lbs, but I am sure that at least 2 of that is water because, although I am in the 1200 calorie rotation, I did not substantially alter my diet and I reduced my exercise from 90 minutes to 60 minutes.
