Freaksgurl's Diary

Thanks so much for the support. I have been a little down and out and eating everything in sight the last 2 days, so this is just what I needed to hear today.
Ok here goes even though it's been a bad day I am going to start tracking
my food daily along with my excersice.

Bfast: about 15 butter cookies
2 cups coffe

snack:BEC toaster thingy

Lunch: Subway Italian BMT
Sun Chips
Med Diet Pepsi

No walking yet but I am trying to convince myself to get out there!!

I haven't weighed cause I was in a funk and didn't want to face the scale today but I will give an update (good or bad) tomorrow.

Balance of yesterday's food journal:

Snack: 3 Hershey kisses

Dinner: Spaghetti
Salad
2 pieces Garlic Bread

Good Morning!!
I weighed this morning and yes I am up 2lbs:doh:But that's ok nothing I didn't expect. Part of yesterday's problem was not being prepared, so I made sure to bring plenty of my good foods today. So far so good!

Bfast: 2 slices whole wheat toast
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 sugar packet
16 oz Water
This is my normal bfast I am one of those people who eats the same thing everymorning. But I like it and it works for me, fills me up and gives me energy. I try to make this my only bread for the day.

I didn't do ANY walking yesterday:eek:But I have my tennis shoes at the ready for lunch today and I am going to walk no matter how I feel about it. Funny how I dread getting out there but once I am doing it I feel so great and proud of myself. That should be enough movitation to get my booty going!

Anyway hope everyone is having a good morning will keep you posted.

Lunch: Ceasar side salad
Sm Chili (wendy's)
32oz Water

Walked .5 mile at lunch! Now I am going to have my 1 diet pepsi for the day!

More later

Hi

We all have days when we want to eat everything in sight. Hey - I even eat things that are out of date or I dont like on those days. I dont think that I will ever know why.

The really brilliant thing is that you have seen it for what it was - a momentary slip-up that everyone can have because we are human - you have assessed the damage and restarted your weight loss project. You have eaten healthy food and been out walking. Well done!

In my experience such gains are very quickly lost after restarting the project. Now that I realise this I feel so silly for having become disheartened and abandoned so many projects at that stage in the past.

I like to have the same breakfast every day too. If you find something that satisfies you and seems to work for the project - it seems a shame to change things.

I hope that your day goes well.

Take care
Love
Margaret

So true! My dad & I were just talking about that last night. Imagine how good we would feel if we realized that years ago!! You just have to think about it as life in general we have good days and bad.

He is the rest of my food log for yesterday:

Dinner: Pan seared chicken breast fillet
brussell sprouts
corn on the cob
2 bisquits w/honey....ooops more bread:rolleyes:
got 64 plus oz of water in:)

No more excersice only 1/2 mile for the day.

Today:

Bfast : 2 slices whole wheat toast
2 tbps pnutbutter
1 packet sugar
1 cup coffee w/hazelnut creamer

Lunch: Salad w/left over chicken breast
6 captain wafers
12 oz diet pepsi

Snack: 1 Large Apple
1 Stick cheddar cheese

excersice: walked 1 mile at lunch:jump:

Today started out rough but has turned out to be great. The temps have held at 67 all day so I was able to walk further and longer at lunch w/out coming back in all sweaty! Not sure what's on the menu for tonight, but held off on my afternoon snack until 4:45 so that I will not be so hungry tonight at supper.

Looking forward to a great night at home, will try to get on later if able to catch up on some diaries! Have a great night everyone.

Good morning all,

Scales are down the 2lbs I gained last week--yeah! So now I just have to be good this weekend!

Dinner: 1 slice country ham
1.5 c grits
1 egg beater
2 bisquits w/honey

I think we were on a bfast kick yesterday!!

I ran out of pnut butter so couldnt have my usual bfast today:(

Bfast: 2 slices whole wheat toast
1 tsp honey
1 serving oatmeal
1 cup coffee w/hazelnut creamer

16 oz water.

So glad today if FRIDAY!

Snack: 3 mini hersey nuggets--needed my chocolate fix!

Lunch:
Thought I wanted greek salad, ordered greek salad, got it didn't like it ate 6 bites.

1/4 c potato bacon soup
2 bites of hubby's tuna sub
Large diet pepsi

Hubby dropped by work so we went out for lunch. As stated above didn't like my salad so hopefully I am satisfied enough not to hog out this afternoon!!

We are having a birthday party tomorrow night for my husband. Here is the menu: Ribeye steaks, fresh creamed corn, fresh peas, baked potatoes, salad, rolls, & maybe homemade mac & cheese. Ice cream cake to finish. I am going to try to stick to a small piece of steak w/baked potato & salad. It will take alot of will power not to eat that fresh corn!

Today is going pretty well I didnt get my walk in since I went out for lunch so I will have to make sure to get it in tonight! I want to try to bump up the excersise a little on the weekends. Each Friday I talk about the hikes that I looked up in the area & I have yet to go on one. Hopefully I will fit it in this time.

Well, the day is half over:jump: hope everyone is having a happy Friday.

Well done on losing those pounds. It is just like we were saying the other day - so often those binge pounds come off really quickly - that all we need to do is keep focused and reweigh a few days later.

Well done on choosing sensible food options. A tiny chocolate fix does not hurt a project - it just makes it more palatable for the long haul.

Lunch with a gorgeous man or walking - I can see why you made the choice that you did.:rotflmao:

Good luck at the birthday party - and remember - if you succumb to the goodies on offer - you can add up the calories and work out how much walking will burn it off and do that extra over the next few days.

Take care

Good morning all, had a great weekend. Birthday party was a big hit. I did pretty well. Had a little of everything but was very proud that I didn't pig out.

The scales are showing same thing they showed on Friday & that is a goal in itself. Hopefully this week I can make it below 275.

I didn't do any excersising this weekend because I have a wicked cold:( So mostly sat around on the couch yesterday. I am going to try to get in a mile today at lunch since it is nice and cool here today. I think our high will be 69 woo hoo--I love the cool weather.

Forgot my peanut butter again!!

Bfast: 2 pkg honey nut oatmeal
1 slice whole wheat toast w/pkg jelly
1 cup coffee w/hazelnut creamer
working on my water

Omega,
Yes I must admit there wasn't much of a choice between my husband & walking:)

I think I did ok on the birthday festivities. I did eat some mac & cheese & cream corn but only a little & didn't eat even half a piece of steak or cake so I am pretty proud of myself!

Thanks for all the encouragement!

hmmm gorgeous men always win outin my book :)

good choice... :D

though get that walk in - or some "alternate form of cardio" with that gorgeous man :D

have a great day

Thanks so much Natalie Jo, boy I sure don't feel like an inspiration to anyone at times!! That little voice of doubt has been creeping around lately. You know the one that says cmon this is not going to work look at you, you are just meant to be fat! You love to eat and you hate to excersise. The sad part is it's true! BUT I am finding that I like excersise a little more than I used to. I still love food just as much as always but I try to tell myself "hey girl just because it's there doesn't mean this is the last supper. You don't have to eat it all!!":rotflmao:

Anyway thanks so much for your encouragement. I tell you some Monday's if I didnt have this forum to log on to and read everyone elses struggles & triumps I think I would probobly give up again.

Hey, I will have to try the watermelon, that is something I rarely eat! But the kisses are a naughtly little indulgence!:newangel:

have a great day, talk to you later.

Doing more than you did previously is always a good thing... I will never stop loving food - I'm not one of those people who eat to live - I live to eat and won't m ake any apologies for it either... so it's just about moderation... and that comes over time...

you are doing it - and that is what counts...

Hey, I will have to try the watermelon, that is something I rarely eat! But the kisses are a naughtly little indulgence

those little indulgences are what helps keep a person sane... enjoy 'em..

Lunch: Zatarain's Chicken & Yellow rice bowl--Yum
32 oz water

Snack: Large Apple
16 oz water

I joined sparkpeople today after seeing so many posts about it and I definitely like what I see. Love the calorie counter makes it sooo easy to track what you've eaten.

Still have the stinkin cold:drooling:, I tried to get out and walk at lunch but it is just too windy & cold. Will try tonight after I get home with some warmer clothes on:)

Thanks for the encouragement Mal, I saw where you have lost 50% of your weight Congrats to you:jump: I think I am truely beginning to see eating in a different way and that is what excites me the most.

Have a great afternoon everyone
