I ate soo much at the holiday party. There were 5 courses. I took part in each

. There was atichoke and spin dip with crisp breads, bruchetta, salad with blue cheese, Ceasar Salad, Broccholi fettucini alfredo (sp.?? ), roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, salmon, chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, cheesecake and chocolate cake....oh mamma! I ate everythign that didn't have meat or fish! Thank god I had the gym last night and I only ate the soup, banana and protein shake after I went home. Anyway, have got to be good the rest of the week. They didn't do my assesment at the gym because I had warmed up on the treadmill first and they recommend you don't (I was glad because of the luncheon!). They will do that on Thursday and it will include body fat analysis, measurement, weights...the whole deal. They'll then develop a fitness plan for me to help achieve my goals. He had me using some of the weight machines last night and even though he told me I won't I'm still afraid I'll bulk up. I don't want to look like Madonna. I was weighing closer to 123 recently, but am back up to the solid 125...told you I've been bad. Still have a long way to go and it's so hard over the holidays. Everyone wants you to eat, eat, eat...

I'm definitely sticking to that today. I've also plans to visit the gym after work and to go to Whole Foods during my lunch. That's about a 3 mile walk back and forth. I will us the arm machines at the gym (15 reps, 2 times on each machine as instructed). Then run for 1 mile and use the elliptical for 20 minutes or so. I usually run 2 miles, but since I'm doing the elliptical trainer and using the arm machines I don't want to overdo it. I seem to have a lot of energy recently which is good. Wish I could figure out a way to always have the same amount. Some days I just can't bring myself to do anything! I get so tired.
