Sounds like you had a gret 10 year class reunion, I missed mine but am hoping to go to my 15 in 2007 if I lose the weight by then I want to look better then high school if possible. Your food looks awesome, Keep it up sweetie. Dont worry about getting to peoples journal no matter what I will always pop in and see ya!! Have a good one.

Gave my notice yesterday. Felt pretty terrible. I feel like I'm leaving my boss in the lurch, but I have to look out for #1 and sometimes you have to let money talk, right? I think only woman feel guilty about these things. Just another one of the crosses we have to bear. Don't you ever feel like we take the brunt of life?
Anyway, trying to maintain my diet through the holidays. TOmorrow will be my first day at the gym. They just opened and it's getting cold to run outside now anyway. I get to get an assessment....fat/water/muscle ratio...all that and a personalized plan. I'm excited for that. I'm not a heavy person but am disatisfied with some areas and I have trouble staying at the weight I feel most comfortable. Weighed myself this morning and was sad to see no change...still at 125. I thought for sure?

Pigged out a bit last night. Think this new job thing is throwing me for a loop. I was making Jay's lunches and ate a bunch of chips and social tea crackers. Maybe 20 chips and 6 social teas. Not a good evening snack. I did mostly cooking and dishes after I got home last night. So tonight I have laundry and other cleaning to do. Hate that. Usually get is done on the weekend, but I was busy. Hope everyone else is doing better than me!
 
Ah-ha! Got my period today. Explains the guilt and the weight confusion. Probably a bit bloated and taking things hard. Happens every time. You'd think I'd be prepared after all these years.
 
Hey Sweetie sorry to hear about your job. Dont worry about the snacks you had I do the same thing so I know how it is but you weigh 125 you lucky thing so it wont hurt you a bit. Your period making you irritable honey...LOL. I know how that is as well Im on it now and Im one grumpy Bit** Anyways had to pop in and check up on you. Your in my thoughts.

Hey, good luck with the new position. I know it's hard to leave a job sometimes, but I've always had good experiences with my new jobs, hopefully you will too. Oh, and hope you have a great gym workout today :) let us know how it went

Thank you everyone for the kind words and for popping in. Work has been very busy while I've been trying to finish up what I have left on my plate. I'm also trying to develop manuals for the new hires use for a smooth transition. Best to leave on the best of terms since you never know where the future will lead.
Did go for my run last night, but I've been feeling very tired lately and almost blew it off. I haven't done any strength training in a while. I was sick then I was busy...well, yadda, yadda. I'm really looking forward to my assessment and such at the gym. I was 123 when I weighed myself this morning. Not sure if that's actual weight loss or not yet. Once I get that weight a few times in a row I will update my signiture to show my progress. My pants are feeling significantly less snug these days, I must say. What a load off to not have to buy more clothes! Didn't want to give in and just buy bigger sizes, though I did get a few things. My new job is actually business casual (my current job is business professional). I'll probably still dress more business than casual since it seems to keep me more motivated....but no more suits! Won't miss that...they are both expensive and awkward to wear.

I'll try to stick to that. If I'm still hungry I'll have another apple instead of any processed food. I've left myself a bit short a few times and found myself scouring the cabinets for something quick (and usually processed). I'm trying to clean that stuff out of my body, not add more in...it's hard to stick to and more expensive, but either we spend money and time on our health now or we'll have to find the money and time when we're sick and in need medical treatment. The more I see these crazy illnesses in this world, the more I look toward prevention. Hey, can't hurt. Those these organic foods are quite costly! Once you get used to the added expense at the grocery store then that becomes the new amount and you adjust the rest of your spending accordingly. YOu have to make it important...like a smoker with cigarettes...you can always find the money.
 
Damn those LUNA bars. Once you get in the habit of eating something at a certain time it's so hard to stop. Isn't it?
Had one of those before lunch...add 180 calories. I can try and adjust in other areas to overcome but my evening diet is already pretty light so I'd better figure on a 1380 calorie diet today. Still pretty low...I'll just make sure to get the run in

For some reason I seem to be having more trouble sticking to my diet plans. Today I feel like I ate a lot already. I'll have to adjust the rest of my day. Tonight I have to make the mad dash home on the train, feed the cats, change, pack and overnight bag and take the next train back. I'm going to a concert tonight with a friend and I'm staying over her place because we have spa appts in the morning. Hopefully being so busy will keep my mind off of food. I also haven't been running. I only went once this week. it was because I was busy, but I've got to do better than that if I want to continue to lose. I might have to focus on just maintaining during the holidays. Will all these appts, obligations and parties it's so hard to find the time to exercise and to stick to a calculatable diet!

i HATE TO UPSET YOU OR ANYTHING AND i MAY BE WRONG BUT BY MY BIGGEST LOSER BOOK TO LOSE WEIGHT AT YOUR WEIGHT YOU NEED 1,050 CALORIES A DAY! MAY BE SOMETHING TO CHECK INTO AND I HOPE IT HELPS
 
Oh crap...no wonder I don't loose any weight. Does that include calories burned through exercise or is that my daily total. Wow...I already feel like I don't get to eat much.

Oh how the weekends do fly by...
I'm feeling very overextended these days. I'm going to have to cancel everything except for those things that I HAVE to do. Holiday parties, finish all the work stuff since this is my last week, appts, shopping for Christmas, decorating, prepare for new job by reading through information and getting drug test, orientation...ahhhhh!!! This stress is not helping my diet! I totally pigged out all weekend.

I ate soo much at the holiday party. There were 5 courses. I took part in each:(. There was atichoke and spin dip with crisp breads, bruchetta, salad with blue cheese, Ceasar Salad, Broccholi fettucini alfredo (sp.?? ), roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, salmon, chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, cheesecake and chocolate cake....oh mamma! I ate everythign that didn't have meat or fish! Thank god I had the gym last night and I only ate the soup, banana and protein shake after I went home. Anyway, have got to be good the rest of the week. They didn't do my assesment at the gym because I had warmed up on the treadmill first and they recommend you don't (I was glad because of the luncheon!). They will do that on Thursday and it will include body fat analysis, measurement, weights...the whole deal. They'll then develop a fitness plan for me to help achieve my goals. He had me using some of the weight machines last night and even though he told me I won't I'm still afraid I'll bulk up. I don't want to look like Madonna. I was weighing closer to 123 recently, but am back up to the solid 125...told you I've been bad. Still have a long way to go and it's so hard over the holidays. Everyone wants you to eat, eat, eat...

I'm definitely sticking to that today. I've also plans to visit the gym after work and to go to Whole Foods during my lunch. That's about a 3 mile walk back and forth. I will us the arm machines at the gym (15 reps, 2 times on each machine as instructed). Then run for 1 mile and use the elliptical for 20 minutes or so. I usually run 2 miles, but since I'm doing the elliptical trainer and using the arm machines I don't want to overdo it. I seem to have a lot of energy recently which is good. Wish I could figure out a way to always have the same amount. Some days I just can't bring myself to do anything! I get so tired.
 
Wow honey looking good. Your excercise amazes me I think I would die if I did that much...LOL. Food looks yummy too. I know its hard at the holiday parties but it was one night and it looks like you are more then back on track today. Looking good. Wow to weigh 125 I could only imagine. You are such a role model.
 
Role model! If only! I feel inspired by those who have lost so many pounds. It's so great to see people jump hurtle after hurtle to see the big gains. I try to maintain a healthy diet, but am having trouble loosing only 8 pounds! This site keeps me on track. You guys are all a great help to me to keep me focused and I like reading other people's journals. Our lives are all so unique that we can learn from each other in other ways as well!

Morning everyone. I guess I wasn't exercising that hard on my own because I sweat so much at the gym and I didn't before when running outside...well, I did, but not that much. I'm either working harder or it has something to do with being inside. I ran for 2 miles, walked for 3/4 a mile (about 35 minutes) and did the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes. I didn't do any strength training. I will have to do that on Thursday. Today I have to leave work to take a drug test for teh new job. Imagine. Haven't had to do that in a while. Sort of annoying, but if that's their thing, then I have to adhere to it. Diet was good last night...but I had an extra yogurt (100 cal) and a crisp bread (100 cal) bring my total to 1320. I'll never lose weight this way now that Redneckwoman told me I should only be eating 1050. I'm goign to have to step it up a notch.

Last day here at work so I have a lot of stuff to clean up. I will try to keep up this journal, but probably won't do it at my new job. I will be getting the internet at home soon as soon as Jay is out of school (he currently works and goes to school full time). I'm busy with work, gym and other things so we haven't needed it at home. In March that will change and we'll have to get it. Until then I don't think I'll be able to check in. Thanks to everyone who supported me and I hope you all do well with your diets and in your lives.

Hi mate I hope everything goes well with your new job, good luck. Don’t forget to measure yourself now you have started at the gym because you may put on weight (muscle) but you will have the best figure and you will notice yourself shrinking. Have a good week.
