LOL! Was this also for the sole purpose for if someone were to ask you,"If all of your friends jumped off of a bridge, would you???" that you could say, "Why yes, actually..."

Thanks for resurrecting this thread... this was a fun one. Wow, I can't imagine not kissing my wife before we were married. In my opinion, and I don't think there is a right or wrong here, kissing someone let's you know if there is chemistry. I mean, yea, intellectual chemistry is hot and all. But sexual chemistry is also a prerequisite to a lasting, healthy relationship IMO.

It sounds like you and your hubby have no issues with this end of things, so I'm happy with you. I suppose this proves my above opinion wrong too, lol.

But it's still how I feel.

Very interesting.

I hear ya! We truly wanted to kiss each other but were afraid of what it might have lead to and we didn't want that yet. It was the hardest thing to do for the both of us. Pun intended.

I'm glad it worked out for us too and that the chemistry was there. Got lucky I guess... I probably would think it was strange if I didn't experience it.

Not even...they just kept saying how fun it was! I was the only one who got hurt, too. I went over the cliff head-first but managed to land on my back. Ouch. Big bruises. Broken bones.

oh wow, ouch! Bet you're glad to be alive to tell the tale. Would you ever do it again...? I've bungee jumped once and hang glided(hang glid?, had gone hang gliding..?) into a lake. Most fun ever.

Nope, I'd never jump off a cliff again. Ever since, I've found the sensation of free-fall to be kind of sickening. Bleh. I'll leave bungee jumping and hang gliding to the more daring among us. :willy_nilly:

That's funny! My husband's parents were in the same predicament, but instead of dropping the middle name, all four of their sons have the same middle name as my father-in-law and their daughter has the same middle name as my mother-in-law. Guess that's one way to not come up with 5 middle names.

Karl, that kayak is beautiful!

Thanks!! It was sort of a labor of necessity. There weren't any decent plastic kayaks to fit my frame and they were all heavy to begin with. A fiberglass or kevlar boat was way out of my price range, even if I could find one that fit.

This one cost me a total of about $1200 in parts, tools, materials. Labor cost of course is a matter of opinion. It took me all winter to build and finish, but I enjoyed it.

All in, it weighs about 50 lbs. My sixteen foot perception plastic boat (which only fit so-so weighed 65 lbs.

Okay, this is a fun thread!

1. I built my own 18' sea kayak out of wood. It is something of a hobby for me.

I've met a few swingers in my time. They always seem very free spirited, which I guess is to be expected.
