First of May – My New Way

Well did have a little candy yesterday, put it on the scale had 110 cals and ended the day at 1670.
Today I have been shopping with the oldest girl and we will spend the day in the garden, it's very hot today. Later we are eating at my parents' they are roasting two ducks, that's a pretty fatty meal, but I suppose I could remove the skin for damage control.
 
Had about 1600 cals, it has been more than 30 celsius/90F today so ate most of them in fruit + 1 frozen limonade triangle.
The family ate Danish pastry and I had a pepsi max, and at dinner I had half a duck breast, with skin though, and we had a low fat gravy + boiled potatoes and pickled cabbage so did pretty good and avoided most of the Saturday feast.
Exercise: 10 km biking and 4 km walking
 
Nice willpower for having a diet Pepsi instead of the Danish pastry. I'm not sure I could have handled that.
 
It's full of gluten and dairy so couldn't eat it if I wanted to, I used to eat half a bag of meringue or crisps when they eat pastry, but that's a habit gone with this lifechange.
TOM arrived and we are going to the beach, it will be 30 celsius again today, blah.
 
I hate it when it's that hot! Especially because of the kids, I'm scared to take them out, I don't want them to burn, and I don't want to put chemical crap on their skin! I do put sunscreen on when we do go out, but I try to stick to the covered deck.... but when it's that hot we mostly stay inside or go shopping...
 
Great job on food choices this weekend. I didn't fare to well myself on Saturday night, but I enjoyed it and all is well. I hope you have a great day. :)
 
It's cooled down a bit here, actually great days for some outdoor activities. But end of the week it's going to be very hot again. Well never mind, still going to be out again. Gotta soak up them sunrays, so I can remember them when it's cold and wet again...
 
It's 17 celsius right now and it has been raining for hours and hours. Guideon they say that this Friday and weekend is going to be the new hottest of the year here too. New visit to the beach bringing lots of sun block and club soda comming up! :coolgleamA:

These days are busy and my x-husband apparently dosen't think that it is important to tell me when he can have the kids and I thought this day was off children, but late last night came to my knowlegde that it wasn't. Will try to go to the gym later, but not fully sure whether the girls will dine and spend the night here or not. Can't plan anything at all. Still haven't heard about the bachelor I wish to read either. It has been nearly impossible to find time for exercise these past 3 days and my DVD player died, but at least I'm good with calories.
 
It's quite stressful and his ignorance gets on my nerves. It makes me demotivated and almost makes me give up in advance, planning exercise. But at least I feel no need to eat anymore when it happens. Very good thing!!
No gym yesterday, the girls ate and slept here and I couldn't get a sitter.
But I GOT IN and my bachelor begins in 5 weeks. So relieved and happy, and I demanded a meeting with x-husband today in order to get dates for all of August. August will be busy, lots of appointments and the boy starts school and need shoppingtrip too.
No exercise means no weight loss, but no gain either.
Confusing post I know, but today is busy too.

It's wonderful, I surprised myself a little bit sending the application, but this life change is not just about reducing my weight.
For years (I got married when I was 20) we moved around for husband's job and I either worked jobs or studied things I really didn't wanted instead of putting myself first.
Now I'm first and ready for it, getting the most out of it.
 
Next month is in my calender, just need to re-arrange few things and try to get as much time off as possible. Sadly have a few hours Saturday I can't get out of. But will be able to go to gym both Thursday and Friday and most of next week.
New month coming up and I need to up my efforts, going to have an exercise goal:
Do at least 24 hours on the treadmill and my yoga program EVERY day in August.

I'm sorry to hear that your ex husband is beeing difficult. That has got to be frustrating! Hopefully things will get better in that department for you.
 
Morning: buckwheat bread with vegan paté and cucumber, vegan café au lait 300.
Snack: honeymelon 100.
Lunch: lean beef, brown rice and veggies 240.
Snack: banana 100, vegan latté 50, beef, brown rice and broccoli 310.
Dinner: beef and veggies + pumpkin seeds and a cup of tea with a teaspoon of honey 500.
Total: 1600.
Fluids: 3 l water, 0,5 l pepsi max
Yoga: yes.
Treadmill total hours: 0 h. 45 m.

Will up my cals to 1600, find it hard to get enough fats in my diet if I am eating 1500 and also try to stay full so will try to eat 100 cals more a day in healthy fats, today it was in pumpkin seeds.
Did my normal strenght program and 45 min on the treadmill + my 20 min yoga program.
Will also write my food down again, it's a lot easier for me to keep track that way. Meals have been very boring today have had so many leftovers.
Not fully sure yet, but it seems like I will have 3-4 days next week off work and children.
