Thanx girl - I have some other pics and I actually have a couple of my oldest where she isnt blocking her face - she is beautiful...

Im not sure abt my av everytime I see it I cringe - lol...and I did have popcorn with real butter last night as a snack :):):)
 
WOW Cinder, AWESOME on the new Avatar!! And I don't think you look tired, love the smile! Plus, you have two full time jobs, the one at home and the one away from home, who wouldn't be tired! Your daughter is a doll~ I've missed stopping by, and I apologize I haven't had the time lately, it's been so crazy around home and work, in a GOOD way, just really keeping me hopping most the time, and I seem to rarely have time to jump on WLF, which just makes me sad! But, I think it's getting better, so I should be able to stop by at least a few times a week to get caught up. I love your menu selection and even better that your still walking and burning those calories, WAY TO GO SISTER! I'm took some pics yesterday, so I'll post those by this weekend. :) Keep on trucking and keep up the great work! Again, thanks for posting the pic, now I can finally see who I'm talking to. 6 miles elliptical - I also had ice cream - like 300 cals worth but i burnt 338 cals on the elliptical so hopefully it wont hurt me...
 
Cinderelly, you know I'm hard on you because I care, right? You have got to find some lower calorie snacks to have around when your kids are snacking on the fattening stuff. I know how you feel because [thin] H has junk food around and sometimes I just grab a few handfuls and there you go, 300 to 600 calories more than I planned. And now the scale isn't going down because that's all it takes mami, just a few more calories and you'll be maintaining rather than losing.

But you like treats and so do I. So substitution is really the key. Yesterday I bought those pop things that have liquid and then you throw them in the freezer and they harden (I'm sure you know what I mean with 3 kiddies). They're only 40 calories per pop, so even if I binge out on 4 at a time, that's only 160 calories, which is probably less than 1/2 the ice cream. And if I only have 1 pop, then that's only 40 cals.

I've been eating a bowl of berries with a couple squirts of whipped cream (fat free or low fat from the pressurized can). I am not exaggerating when I tell you this tastes just as good as that bowl of ice cream but a whole bowl of berries is less than 75 calories, and the whipped cream doesn't add much but makes it so sweet and creamy. Berries are expensive but they're in season right now so not so bad. Try to eat 1 whole package of blueberries or other berries per day, they have SO much fiber that you'll be really full too. In fact, this is one of my new things and it seems to be helping get the weight moving again so please give it a try if you can.
 
Hey Blancaita - I rarely eat ice cream and I was shocked at myself because I just couldnt stop - lol - My aunt bought and it was goods and I didn balance out my cals well enough through the day - I under estimated my work load and hte heat - anyway ivcecream is somethign I never eat anymore...

As far as berries - regardless of being in season or expensive I do eat them - I just havent lately because I just cant seem to find any decent ones plus Ive been super broke - so no berries here - ha ha ha - I think my last pay cheque was 300 bucks....eeeppp...

Anyhoo - my snacks are usually low cals because the kids liek them as well so this way Id ont need to worry to muchabt what they are snackin on...

Oh and ha ha ha - I dont regret the ice cream it was good - however I wish I had had some control...I need to buy some of that SKinny cow stuff plus it was hotter than hell yesturday and I think that did me in as well...
 
Sorry if I made it sound like you dont eat better snacks. Guess I was addressing my own problem in that post as well. During my "maintenance break" where I actually gained about 1 pound, I was eating some of H's snacks and it seems just a bit of this and that and I had gained. Hope you have a great day!

Also I wanted to mention that today Im giving my notice at work i have just had enough and if it isnt sad enough - I cant even find the time to tell her because she is alway to damn distracted to listen so Im gonna type up a note to give her...

I'll have to try freezing the yogurt tubes. I don't eat much ice cream but I did have a little last night. I fit it into my calories so it's cool.

What's on the agenda for today? I'll be leaving for a BBQ around 11am. Am hoping I dont overeat, but I'm expecting the food to be good. Hope you have a nice day with the kiddies, the kitties, and the doggie (and granny too) :).
 
Hey there sweet pea!! I read all the posts about ice cream and anyone out there that says they don't like it is nuts!! I LOVE ICE CREAM, I just choose not to eat it anymore, every now and then I have a frozen custard, but I've learn to love those "ICE POPS" you know the small tubes of kool-aid filled drink that you toss in the freezer and pull out when your craving something sweet and cold. OH YEAH, they work perfect for me, for three main reasons. ONE, they taste sweet so you think your cheating. LOL, 2ndly, they only have 25 calories per tube, and lastly, they are CHEAP, one of my favorite words. You can buy a whole box for less than 5 bucks and they last for months, and the kids like them too. Oh and I found these new Quaker rice cakes that are all different flavors, I like the Cinnamon and chocolate swirl ones, only 90 calories for the packet of them. They are bite size, and normally rice cakes would be a "NOT" for me, but these are pretty darn good, you should try them. Well those are my little thoughts for the day, not that you need to know what to eat, obviously your doing just fine, because your losing some good weight. Keep it up, it's working for you!!! love the avatar!
