It's very brave of you to get involved like that with your daughter's friend and her family. That would be an extremely awkward situation to deal with. I think I would be feeling more anxious about that than I do with my own circumstances right now!

I had a great eating day so far :):):) Ive had well over 100 oz of water and I went to Curves...I still have the Elliptical to go - however my youngest wants to go to the water park so we will see what happens after dinner...

Thanx for the support guys and Kaylea's friend is still here and her parents havent even bothered to contact her appearantly the last words spoken buy her parents were fine then stay here forever ...

well its great you started counting calories, and i agree wit felici that will do the trick. i do good when i count calories at the end of the day. and it also keeps me in control because i don't want to see huge numbers there lol

and i think you're a wonderful person for doing this for you're daughter's friend. even when she goes back to her parents she will have a safe refuge to come to, at least for a talk. and trust me that means a lot to a lost and confused little girl. cannon said it right...its normal for kids to hate their parents, its normal for them not to want too much of your time hehe. but later it all fits back into place. what they worry about most right now is only one thing. not to be publicly embarrased.

you keep doing it girl...and one thing i wanted to ask yoou. do you do any weight lifting?
 
That looks like an excellent day Cinderelly. It does help to post what you've eaten, at least when you're getting back into the whole calorie counting routine. The cookies seemed to work right into your calorie allotment so no harm done there. If we cant have a home made cookie after smelling them cook in the oven then none of it seems worth it. But luckily you stopped at a reasonable portion and that's the key right there.

I can see myself letting the kid stay with me as well. Luckily my baby is way too little to be bringing home stray children. But what's up with those parents??? They must be very immature, young, have lots more kids and be under financial stress. That's my take on that wacky family but I could be way off.

Breakfast - a nectorine, piece of cheese and a yoguart followed b a 2.75 mile walk - cals burnt 270 - I bought a new pedometer and it counts the cals you burn when walk :D:D:D
 
Loving the avitar cinderelly, a very pretty face. Good job on the food and exercise. Let's see how long we can keep up our new WL plans :). Is the girl still there?

Well it's nice to see you too (nice avitar):D I'm a single Dad and working really hard to get full custody of my two perfect little girls. Right now I have an injunction that gives me full custody so they are with me all the time. So I know what it is like trying to take care of the girls, eat healthy, work out, work full time, and everything else that life throws at us on a daily basis. I wouldn't trade it for anything but I know how much effort it takes to get it all done. I admire you for being able to hold it all together as well as you do. You are doing great with your workouts and it looks like you getting back on track with your nutrition as well.

You will like our next challenge road trip. We will be going from ***top secret content removed*** to ***top secret content removed***. I'll take the lead on this one so you will be able to sit back and pump out those miles like your doing now going to Lettuce lake!!!

Cool! That's a neat little gizmo - I bet that's motivating using it!

It is pretty cool - however Im such a dork - I use them both because the one only doe km and my old one does miles so this way I dont have to convert - ha ha ha...

Is the girl still there?

Thanx what I hate abt the av is how tired I look - hee hee hee...

It takes great strength for me to hold it all together but I do for the most part. Ive had a couple mini melts downs but they just help me grow stronger...I feel I was meant to be a parent and this is what I am doing I am walking the path I was meant to walk however sometimes I wish it was a bit easier...Cingrats on your injunctiopn - I am assuming you have that for a reason - when I got my court order I was very particular about it - it is very detailed and such and for that reason because it needed to be -I have have full and sole legal custody of both my girls and it is for their best interest and well being...however I do feel I have done a good enough job that they couldnt get screwed up by him but better not to chance that...Everythign I do is for my gilrs :D:D:D - I will post some pics!!!
 
Well I will post a not so small one of Taneesha agian after - Chewy's is bigger so I figured somethign better out...One more of my other daughter to come
 
2.75 miles walk...dinner is tacos - gonna add up my food today but i had a weird eating day lol - but it was ok...I went to the store and got a slushy after the water park and I was tempted by chips chips and more chips but I told myself that i will have popcorn with real butter later - tha tis my treat :):):)
 
I'm back to counting calories too Cerella! I've been so terrible lately, and don't want to be anymore. Increasing my activity as well.

Way to go on that walking today.
