Fighting my bad body double!

Good afternoon all :D

My weekend... let's see. I don't think I did too bad compared to some, but there was definitely a big room for improvement lol. I'll be honest, I've stopped counting calories. Which is funny, I feel like I'm eating a lot more than I actually am... Like honestly, I felt like I ate constantly all weekend and I really don't feel like I've gained any weight. And now I'm not concentrating on what I'm eating, what I'm eating at my next meal, what's for dinner etc etc, I'm not thinking about food all the time... and I haven't had a binge. Mind you, I am eating whatever I want- everything is healthy though. I even made chocolate the other day that passed the husband test...!!! OMG, tastes amazing too. Tomorrow is weigh in day, so will let you know how I've really gone when I weigh in lol.

ANYHOO... Sat morning started off with breakfast, then a gym workout. Spent most of the day at home watching movies on the couch with hubby, was LOVELY. I went out that evening... and had 4 glasses of champagne lol. But pretty sure I worked it off with the 3 hours of cutting up the dancefloor that followed.
Sunday I slept in, and woke up to the cleanest I have ever seen our place... hubby had gotten up early cuz he couldn't sleep and had tidied, cleaned and scrubbed EVERYTHING. Not even kidding. Even the tiles in the shower and the toilet :eek2: I made him brekki to thank him, then we decided to go to the movies and watched Inception- which was awesome! Then we got takeaway lol... Went to Nando's and I had a small chips and a vege burger on wholemeal. First time I've had takeaway in FOREVER so I wasn't about to feel guilty about it!!!
And... I ate what I wanted when I wanted all weekend... and it's the first weekend in FOREVER I didn't go over maintenance calories. GO ME!!

Today I got up, ate brekki and walked the 7kms to my course and back again... so today looks like this:

Brekki- 2 choc brownie pancakes (sound bad right? They're sweetened only with banana, made with unsweetened raw cocoa, and have the tiniest bit of organic buckweat flour in them... with a couple of eggs and some water. They taste awesome!)
Snack: Raw cheesecake (made mostly with cashews and coconut)
Lunch: Vege burger (homemade chickpea patty made entirely of veg) on 2 pieces wholemeal grain bread with 1 egg, cheese, tomato, spinach
Snack: 1 choc brownie pancake

Dinner will probably be pizza pancakes that I made in bulk and froze yesterday- the base is almost entirely veg, with wheat germ to make it into more of a dough... grilled like a pancake, then topped with a creamy tomato paste I made with cottage cheese, tomatos, herbs, and garlic... then topped with capsicum, mushrooms, and cheese. Hehehe they're really colourful, the pancakes are green, the tomato paste is pink, and then the capsicum is red and green :D

Exercise: Walked 14kms- took about 2hrs I think. 1hr gym group tonight

So yea, on my weekend I baked and cooked a heap of things that looked and sounded really naughty but made almost entirely of veg or fruit or nuts of some kind!

My course was fun today, we were learning how to take each others blood pressure!! I have Monday arvos off so I'm chillaxing for the rest of the day. Going to check out everyone else's diaries that I've been neglecting!!
 
Your cooking in the kitchen always inspires me but I honestly would have no clue where to even begin!! I'm a stick to the recipe kind of girl and think I learned that from my mom. I hope to someday get creative in the kitchen - go you for being so creative!!!
And walking 14km in one day is so much walking!!! You sound like you are right on track and not putting in as much effort so that is great too! I wish I could say I haven't binged in a while but this weekend was all about binging, ugh... here's to a new week!! Oh and good work going to class even when you were trying to talk yourself out of it!!!!

Glad you're doing well for the most part my lovely--I've also been super busy but I'm back and keeping on track now!

I agree with Lisa, by the way. So jealous of your cooking and baking. I'm USELESS.

Thanks guys :D I thought I'd mention, I actually have a small email group that I send all my recipes to... at the moment it's just the people in my gym group, but if you're interested in joining pm me your email address and I'll send you all my recipes... and new ones as I make them!

Had fun in class today, and went to the lunch time group workout. Was sooo much fun!!! Body combat on Tuesdays, going to do tomorrows class too which is pump I think. Weights n stuff!

Oh weighed in today and was the same as last week, so gotta be happy with that with my semi-naughty weekend. Going to make sure I'm extra good this week, I want to see 66 point something next week!!!
 
Wow you are doing Great, and I am also jealous of your cooking....with kids and work I mostly stick to salad and chicken, tuna, or legumes in it not very creative!! Great Workouts wow I now feel lazy lol!!!! Glad that you are still doing great!!!!

That's great that you are so happy back at school and that they have such a cheap gym membership. It sounds like you are having a lot of fun with it. Be good this week now, and I"m sure you'll see 66.

What a crazy busy week... I think I have a job back at Woolies working in the bakery on weekends (I used to be bakery manager there, quit around 6months ago) I have NO idea how I'll keep up with myself studying every day and then working the full weekend... guess you hafta do what you hafta do when you have a mortgage!!

I've been really well-behaved this week, LOVED the pump class on Wed, did pilates on Thurs but not really a fan of it lol. Today I just did the usual 2hrs of walking to Tafe and back. Ate HEAPS of food last night, no junk food but just a lot... couldn't figure out why then TOM arrived today. Of course lol.

Tomorrow I have my usual gym sesh in the morning, and meeting a couple of people from my Mon night gym group on Sunday morning for a workout (more of a social thing though I think) No other plans this weekend, just studying I guess... 3 assessments next week already lol. I'm loving it though!!!

I'm so damn tired right now, might update more over the weekend!!!
 
I am glad that you seemed to be enjoying school!!!! Don't you just hate how hungry we get before TOM, it screws up the whole week but I guess since our bodies are using more energy they need more fuel...It's good that you only ate good stuff, and no junk that is hard especially at that time of the month!!!
Take some time to rest also this weekend, you deserve it!

You have a new journal....!!! I have really been under the rock this past month, that's for sure. Sounds like you are doing really well, hun. Will visit you here more often.
 
It's been a lil while, oops!!! Life is crazy busy at the moment!!

This week looked like this:
Mon- 2hrs of walking (to my course and back), then I had 1hr gym group at night
Tue- 2hrs of walking (course), 40min body combat class
Wed- 2hrs of walking (course), 40min body pump class
Thu- 2hrs walking (course), 40min pilates
Fri- 1hr walk (to the shop and back), 15min run, 30mins gym with trainer (I skipped my course this day, had a busy weekend)
Sat + Sun- Had to get my first aid cert which was 8:30am-4pm both days, walked there and back both days which was about 45mins of walking on both days. So I guess they were my rest days!!

So yea I've been insanely busy!!! Haven't had a single binge for a really long time, not sure how much I weigh either... will weigh in again on Tues, I know I've definitely lost though I can feel it.
This week will be looking like this:

Mon- 2hrs walking (to my course and back), 1hr gym (getting my hair done in the arvo, yay!)
Tues- 2hrs walking (course), 1hr boxing circuit with a friend at night
Wed- 2hrs walking (course), 40min pump class
Thu- 2hrs walking (course), 10mins running + 30mins gym with trainer
Fri- 3hrs walking (course is a it further on a Friday)
Sat- 10mins running, 30mins gym with trainer. Have an induction for my job 8am-1:30pm then gym in the arvo, then hubby is taking me on a date!
Sun- No idea!!! Looks like my one free day this week!!!

I'm loving my course, it's so much fun! Really full on, last week was the end of week 4 and we've already had 3 assessments. Got 100% though so I'm happy! The only free time I have during the week this week is Wed and Fri evening, and I have 2 friends to catch up with that will most likely fill those gaps... also, might have a friend visiting Sunday to go shopping for an outfit to wear for her birthday which is the weekend after. I have never been so flat out busy in my life!

Hope everyone is doing well, I'm trying my hardest to get to everyone's journals right now! I will hopefully get the chance to write again Tues and update my weight!
 
I missed you :D I've been gone for a while as well--life just gets a little insane every now and again! Cant wait to start uni again and go back to a student life style ;) Glad you're all good, lovely :) xxx

Wow that is so awesome Luz!! I'd say keep it up but it looks like you have no choice! I'm so jealous btw :) I'm ready to work hard and get it back though - your totally my inspiration!
