Fatty.2 : Revenge of the chub.

I'd love to do zumba after seeing it on tele by the guy who started it. It should be good for your dance style. Its really exercise dance isn't it.

Um, where's your video. I really want to see it. I haven't seen the video thread come up. IF its in there, i will find it. If its somewhere else, i may not.

Ah Thanks Amy. I found it.

Hana you are a funny girl. You have an expressive face.

I have one question - not just to you. What do people look at when making videos? How come you don't look at the camera lens? Or is the lens where you are looking but somehow not?

I have a camera in my macbook laptop (does anyone else have a macbook?) I am not sure if i want to make a video but i don't know how to use this facility at all. Any quick tips anyone?

Awh, thanks guys :D I was just looking at the screen of my laptop, you can see yourself on the screen so just looked at myself I guess! Looking at the little light that's filming you is strange!

Mine is built into my laptop and I just found it under Windows Live when I searched the programmes--My boyfriend has a mac though, I'll ask him!

Zumba was just fantastic--There is another class the woman runs on a Monday as well so might go to that as well. And only £18 for 6 weeks--Works out quite cheap! I read that you burn between 500-900 calories as well..Which is LOADS considering you don't feel like you're exercising..Just dancing like a loon!

3 essays in a week! I guess you can do that sort of thing when you are young. When you get older your brain slows down so much even one essay would terribly challenging.

I hope you can pace yourself and get through it in one piece.

I recall that when struggling with essays eating becomes a reliable place to go. If that happens to you, go outside for a short or long walk instead of a short walk to the fridge.

Goodluck.

Hey Sunflower! HOW IS ZUMBA??? My 24hrfitness gym offers that class, but I'm too self conscious about dancing with 40 other people in the room. Sensually shaking my booty? I can't even imagine!

Don't frown that you didn't lose any weight! Stay optimistic and make sure your diet is in check and you'll be all good!!

Thanks Andrea--I'm pretty good at working to tight-deadlines. Wrote 1500 words in an hour and half today for my Holocaust unit, so I'm happy with todays work. Now to relax!

kureransu, thanks for stopping by! Hope you are well, too.

poodle! Zumba is AWESOME. Really gets your heart going! And it's not sensual at all! The lady who does mine made us all rock out to air-guitar for 3 mins part way through the class. You just flail about and have fun--Nothing sexy about it!!! Give it a go! Especially if you can find a new class that's just started--Everyone will be in the same boat!

Looking at recipes for another purpose, thought maybe (not sure- cheap, cheerful, student friendly) you might like this:

That looks lovely, Amy! Reckon even I could cook that!! Thanks :)

Breakfast: 2 wholemeal pitta with low-fat cream cheese (300)
Lunch: demi-baguette with turkey ham and portsalut (550) sausage (100) crisps (129)
Dinner: tomato and basil pasta (610) garlic bread (105)
Snacks: brie (250)

Exercise: 30 min walk
Total: 2044

Up for work at stupid o' clock. Getting a cab in--The bus did not sound appealing at 6am!

Urgh you have such an early starttttt.
Mmm good for you eating breakfast. Sometimes you dont :0

Ended up going out for a big dinner last night which wasn't planned. Was awesome but I'd had a big lunch in anticipation of having a WW meal for dinner or a salad. Awh well, new day today.
I'm going to play a Eurovision drinking game tonight with a group of friends so need to be very careful on calories. Think I'm going to drink vodka and slim-line tonic as wine has around 1000 cals a bottle and I can easily drink 3 on a night out.
I'm also about to hit the gym as I know if I can burn 400 calories then I can have a slice of pizza when they order take-out. I'm going to pack a new potato salad and try and eat that instead though!!

Will post again when I'm back. Am going to weigh in properly at the gym

Hugs, Hana xx

Been to the gym :) Went for about 45 mins. Did a 2 mile bike route on the video-game bikes they have. Was lovely! Flat route through some redwood trees. Did it in my best time yet, as well. Then I get some leg/arm exercises. Then 10 mins on the cross trainer (150 calories) and then some sit-ups and then 20 mins walking on the treadmile on an incline.

Feel good :)

Now to hunt down something healthy for lunch! Am thinking scrambled egg whites on toast.

Weighed in at the gym and I'm half a pound down. Which is good, I guess, although you fluctuate anything up to 3lbs a day anyway. Sob.

Bleurgh. I'll never get this egg white thing. I love my yolks. And i'm not yolking :biggrinjester:

Anyway excellent on all the exertion. Keep it up Sunshine. :gnorsi:

ps. All the little Sunny's got a new swimming pool today which i delighted in watching them baptise themselves in. :hat:

Its the lid of an unused worm farm, about 1.5 feet long and 1 foot wide and 2 inches deep. How cute is that. And its green. Oh god how delightful they are. Everyone needs ducklings at some point in their lives, surely!
The younger the better too.

If i had a video in my camera, i'd get some footage of them. Alas i gave my camera that could do that to my sister. :-(

Half a pound downnnn. Half a pound dowwwwn. Woop woop.
I miss your updates, lover.

Also, am feeling less fat today and have decided scales will probably only lie to me and tell me I'm a whale type creature or scream OH FUCKKK GET OFFF MEEEEEE until I cry and eat myself to death in solitude, so am avoiding scales until I think they'll agree with me.

Because clealy that is the sane and logical thing to do.

*nods wisely*

:piggy:

Love it! This diary is brill so far, I'll be reading all of it!

LOL good quote rainbow.

i've been wanting to ask you, hana, if you have cooked your bean recipe yet. Its sunday now. And anyway i am leaving soon and i am keen to know how it worked out before i try it.

Awh, thanks guys :D

Hey Andrea, no I've not had a chance yet--Been eating out a lot and my partner is working late tonight so no point cooking just for me. Will def give it a go tomorrow night though-I have all the things I need.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone watch Eurovision last night? Was very amusing. Played a drinking game with some friends. Was very good and avoided the wine. Had no-sugar cherryade (9 cals per 250mls) with vodka and then just 2 slices of pizza. Not bad at all considering what everyone else was eating and drinking.

Very hungover and busy today so not going to the gym--Going to keep my cals low in that case.
