glad to see you are so motivated right now. you are doing so well, going to the gym consistently. motivates me to get back to the gym :) keep it up. maybe the roommate thing will work out well, have another female in the house to break up all the male-ness haha :p lol keep us posted

I am going to echo everyone else, that bike sounds great, wish they had one at my gym, I think I'd find it really good motivation!

Sounds like your making the most of the sunshine :) it is sooooo hard to diet at BBQ's - they are just sooooo good and soooo bad for you!!

I've been looking into getting a heart rate monitor. I want one that also tracks distance so I can use it for running. They are pretty expensive though and I am very poor right now!

Well yesterday was an odd day food-wise. I did my night shift (didn't eat very much at all), and then came home and slept til 2. And then went to work and went out with some friends. I had NOTHING to eat until 3am and then was immediately sick (vodka is not my friend). So I had pretty much nothing to eat yesterday. Neeeeedless to say, I got the scales today and I'm down 3.5lbs from last week :party:

Which is suuuuper.

So yus, very pleased with myself.
 
Not posted in a few days. Am at my parents for a week so grabbing the internet when I can! Still down 3.5lbs so very pleased :D
 
I made the cauliflower one last night :) Was delicious so thank you for the recipe. My parents really liked it as well. :hurray:

Will make the burgers either tonight or tomorrow I think :) Need to go get some chickpeas!

This week has been AWFUL though. I'm at home and my mum has given up on her diet so whilst I'm eating smaller portions than everyone else, it's not healthy food. And have had no time to even get out for a walk most days. Very worried about the damage--my jeans already feel tighter :(

Back home on Monday (huge family BBQ today and then my sister's party tomorrow) so will be back on it like sonic on Monday!!
 
It's so hardddd to stay on track when you're surrounded by amazing food and everyone else is eating normally. You're beautiful. Enjoy family celebrations and see you monday. On it like sonic, oh yesss.

Bummer about your mama. I hope you won't take that path. Hold sight of your goal.

Why'd your mother give up? Maybe you can remotivate her with your success?

I hope you can get out for some exercise soon. Good on you for keeping your portions modest.

You can do this. Try not to look at the bad food. And try not to think about it. Think about what's working and where you are going, and how it will make a difference to your life. If you think about those sorts of things, it will strengthen your resolve and make abstinence a lot easier.
 
Hey girls :beating:

Fortyfour, my mum was stick thin until she had me and she's put on weight ever since. She's not morbidly obese or anything but she's unhappy and overweight but can't stick with a diet long enough to see results and loses interest. She's a hospice nurse and comfort eats :( She is supportive of my weight loss and often rings to ask how it's going but she just isn't in the right frame of mind to start again I don't think.

Soooo, I'm back home in Portsmouth now. Feels great! And came home to a tidy flat which was also very nice! Went out for dinner but only shared a starter (garlic bread and a few wedges) and then got verrrry drunk! But it was all good fun :D

Still not weighed in..Probably will tomorrow.

I'm making a chicken curry tonight from scratch so that will be nice and healthy. Not much else to report--Working a night tonight so gonna get a nap in! Viewing a house today as well so busy busy!
