hello another day i have decided today i will go to weight watchers meeting for the added support and maybe even learn a few things :) I am doing ok but i could be doing alot better. I Have a friend who wants to shed some excess and we will do it together. :)
 
Don't sweat the 1kg. You can take it off pretty quickly - it could just be water. Wouldn't that be great? Because then you can just sorta drink it away.

Going to meetings might be good for you. I know it helped me when I had someone I was accountable to as far as weighing in weekly. I'm using y'all for that now!

Definitely watch your sodium intake, if you are weighing daily! A salty meal one day will throw your weight off for the next few days, and can really affect your morale; there is no need to LOOK for reasons to slip.
It sounds like you are really doing a good job so far, and having a friend to help out is a very, very good thing. Mine seem to want to encourage me to eat; it's like they fear seeing my success at this. I'm VERY glad you have someone who will help you. How was your New Year celebration? Did you maintain, or did you go nuts?
 
Hi txturtle and QJ hope you are both well. My first meeting is on tuesday at 6pm and im excited i just had a vegie soup for lunch and it was yummy. I think i ate and drank too much for New Years and i did enjoy myself but i am kicking myself now but not too hard cause i know it will be ok. There are lots of people out there to sabotage us but in the end its you that has to be the strong one. My partner and i are the same when we met we ate and ate now im back to the weight i was the first time and it annoyed me i let myself to that to me. Now i have to work hard and lose everything i put on and im peeved cause he has put on nothing. lol But i know it can be done and i know the end result and i know i look dam good!!!! hahaha :)
 
I weigh in daily as well...it keeps me on track...yes you can do this and you will , you are here and have us to help support you along the way...good luck with your journey
 
lol wishes you make me laugh :) Thank you Cinderelly i think it keeps you on track too but sometimes i fall in the trap of getting upset when i dont lose i dont mind staying the same but putting on it annoys me especally if ive been good. Good luck on your weight loss journey too. Keep us posted :)
 
Ouch! That "partner who can eat whatever they like" thing REALLY sucks...

Just remember that weight is actually pretty easy to take off or put on, the hard part is making it stay EITHER way. It takes some pretty dedicated eating to put on a lot of pounds and keep them that way. I just realized I am down a couple of notches on my belt :p
I don't FEEL any different, and my CLOTHES fit the same, but my BELT is tighter. Weird, innit?
 
Mornin...as far as the gettin trapped or whatever...ya it is hard but when I dont wse results I liek I just step up my exercise...it works for me...as long as I eat healthier, and Im talking just not really eatin junk and exercise my butt off I can see good results, I just sometimes get lazy...LOL

Just chekking up on you and I can see you are doing just fine. Its a process and sometimes you might get "trapped" as you say, but as long as you're in it for the long hall it won't be a problem. That kilo will say goodbye soon, I bet:)

Hi everyone. Well done on the belt QJ. I have made the family change to weight watchers as well and no ones complaining and are enjoying the recipes so that makes things easier i even got the kids to eat spinash and feta. lol :) The kilo has come off and im happy bout that i have been watching the biggest loser (Oz version) I love it i get on the treadmill while its on lol its very motervating LOL :) :) Im going to the movies tonight and im having dinner before i go so i dont eat any of that popcorn or yummy choctops haha Hope everyone is well.

I sit on the exercycle whilst watching it. The problem is convincing the kids to stop watching spongebob or whatevers on the other channel so i can watch it. Why on earth do they put it on at 4pm some days and 5pm other days? The hours are just silly!
 
Great job on getting the family on board - it definitely makes it easier if the whole family is willing and able to eat what we're fixing!
 
Hi - I sit on the bike and watch Franklin and Tooby and Binno...LOL...we watch tv together from 8 - 9 and that is when I use hte bike...she is entertained enough to let me and I am still there watching with her...
 
Hi there everyone. Wishes - I love Wal he is my fav however i was reading the slimming mag and it had an article on who wins it annoyed me. But i keep watching.
Ciderelly- its amazing how quick time passes on your equipment when entertained.lol :)
Tomorrow is my first meeting im excited and nervous at the same time i have finally told my other half how much i really weigh i decided to take dr. phils advice and own it lol. My partner did not belive me haha he loves me sooo much he cant see it. Or maybe hes just polite lol :)

Hi guys I loved going back to my meetings it was great the leader was young and full of energy. It has changed a little but nothing i cant handle lol :) Oh no wishes that is horrible haha i missed the end of it yesterday because of my meeting i made my partner watch it to tell me what happened im so addicted haha At least it was only the CUT THE FAT eposide. I like the weigh in days more. My excersising is back on track i fell off the wagon a bit after new years but it feels good i have added situp and push ups and thats a funny site i tell you haha I hope you are all going well on your journeys

Heeheehee....good for you for adding them...I hate them, I use the stability ball but that is as close as I get to actual sit ups...have a good day!!!
