Fat be GONE!!!

Chai you must have a way better behaved dog than I do!!:D I guess if they heard barking I could tell them that I am watching Animal Planet... We are getting ready to be pretty active in 2007. I found a dog park (only 47min drive:rolleyes: ) I am going to take her to. I am trying to socialize her but it is hard when you don't socialize yourself.
 
I am off work today and have been pretty productive. Rain is supposed to be coming so I got my bike out and cleaned it up and checked the fluids. Wish I could of taken it out but I don’t like riding in the rain. Did some other household choirs that I have put off due to lack of time. I am ready for a nap… my dog is already passed out. Poor thing she has ran herself ragged following me around.
 
I stuck to it.. feelin' kinda of cranky.:(

The holidays are always so stressful, which I hate because I love Christmas.

Bummed but as determined as ever to lose weight and reclaim mylife.:D
 
Good for you! That's a great attitude to have. You seem to be off to a great start. Just remember, some things (like socializing) take time and baby steps!

Ok I had to copy Chai (it was to cool) and I went and did a virtual me at current weight and my goal weight. It is interesting. My weight makes me looks old. The more I look at it, the crazier I think it is. The same person except different weights... amazing. It has been so long since I have been small... so very long. I really want to be in shape where I can be an active person.
 
One more day till my first weekly weigh-in!! Feel good about it, haven't cheated but haven't really exercised. Gonna get started right after the first. I have been trying to decide what to do… I think that I am going to alternate riding my stationary bike and workout video.
 
Oooohhhh.... I just thought of another reason to get in to shape.... my 20th highschool reunion is this year!! I guess we are having one, I haven't really heard. Surely we are...
 
Ok, my diet allows me two meals a week to eat anything that I want. I am going to try and not use those wild cards… after today. I had to eat some cornbread, chicken strips and black-eyed peas. I think I will count it as both of my cheats for the week.

I have decided (almost) that I am going to get DDR. What held me up is that I don’t own any type of gaming system. I found some plug and play models but the review really panned them. So I am going to buy a PS2 to play DDR. We are fixing a room up for visiting nieces/nephews and they are always asking if we have a video game for them to play. I think it would be great for my nephew cuz he is very young and due to a medical condition is very overweight. He has reached an age where he knows that he is different than the other kids (he is also way tall for his age). Maybe if I can get him into it while he is here, I can buy him one for home to play. I love that kid so much… couldn’t be sweeter. He has two younger sisters who get all of the attention. I would love for him to come over as much as possible so he can be the center of attention for a while.
 
Thats a good idea. I haven't seen the ddr played but it should work. Ps2 around here run about 129 new. If your strapped from the holidays alot of the gaming stores sell them used.......
 
Thanks hillbillylee, that is a good idea. I will check out some stores tomorrow when I am in town. I found a bundle on Walmart.com that for ~$186 (~$215 after tax and shipping) It has the machine includes one controller, then you pick two assesories and a game. So I was going to pick memory card, sound system (they only offered a wireless controller and it is back ordered) and Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova. Getting kinda excited. I used to love to dance and I think when I quit dancing I started to put on weight. I went out dancing, not strippin';) although I might if I lose the weight!:eek:

Thanks Be_Gone. They all are good kids, I just think that he is getting lost in the shuffle. Although, I do think that since he is getting older my brother is doing more with him.
 
Hey Wachee. I haven't bee around in a while, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to catch up with you. It sounds like your doing well. Keep going. :)
 
Doing wells so far... I have lost 3.6lbs(I love decimals!) and feeling pretty good about it. Didn't really go hungry although some days I was really looing forward to my meals. I need to buy some snacks so I don't get so hungry in between. I have changed my goal weight a couple of times 135.... 125.... 135... 125 and now I am back to 135 which I am going to make myself keep. I don't want to get crazy with my expectations and then just get disappointed when I don't meet them even if I do really well.

I need to start exercising... I have a TaeBo tape that I am going to try tonight.
 
I tried exercise videos and still do some of the time, but the gym works best for me! LOL If I pay for it I'm more likely to do it!! good luck with the exercise though!:D
