Extreme Makeover: Brandon Edition

Although my numbers from this week are lower than normal, I am not discouraged at all. That 1.6 lbs will never be seen again. For the past two weeks or so I have been drinking a protein shake for breakfast... So maybe that is the reason for my odd numbers.

I found that when I introduced a protein shake (3 times a day) into my diet the numbers reduced despite consuming the same amount of calories as I did before the shake's..might be purely coincidental..definately not worth worrying about..a loss is a loss..your still kicking ass :)

I am considering lowering my goal weight to 200 lbs. I will chew on it some more when I reach 220.

Join us in Onederland..you know you can resist ;)

Joking aside..IF you decide to shoot for 200, you might aswell go for 199, made a big difference mentally for me.

All the best :seeya:

:iagree:

That is definitely a possibility for me. We'll see what happens when I get near there. :D

I decided to try and go further with my athletics and try my hand at MMA. I obviously need to get in better shape considering the conditioning MMA demands. Knowing this, I have decided to start Brazilian Jiu Jitzu classes at a different gym. This will not only help me gain knowledge in the sport, but also shed the pounds I have remaining... and hopefully a year from now, I can start fighting.

Another negative number. My goal is slowly approaching. I was debating on putting pictures to update my progress. I have decided not to just because I feel just a "before" and "after" will suffice.

I haven't felt very good lately. Hopefully I am coming down with a sickness... which causes me to lose 50-70 lbs. ;)

Hope everyone is well.

Who would have thought a negative could be so positive eh?

My goal is slowly approaching. I was debating on putting pictures to update my progress. I have decided not to just because I feel strictly a "before" and "after" is effecient.

I think thats a good idea, plus it enhances the WOW factor..and lets face it, we're not losing weight for others to congratulate us and say how hot we are..but its not a bad thing either ;)

Another slow week. My chin splints started to act up again... which throws a big wrench into my cardio. :banghead:

No worries though... it's a new week. :willy_nilly:

As you lose more and more you'll notice the weeks get slower and slower, and you've lost a lot of weight by now. Losing 2 pounds a week is still great though.

Take it easy with the shin splints, if you keep running with them they only will get worse. When they first appear it's worth it to take a break for a week or until the pain goes away and then start back up when you're feeling well.

here is a long article about stretches you can do to help yourself. This saved my ass a few years ago so I hope it can help you! Good work and good luck!
