**end of the line**

Wow, I hope I can keep as motivated as you are!!!
Can you point me to the 10 week program you are following for the 5k?

Looks like we have similar goals, but you are 4-5 lbs ahead of me in the weight loss!

i checked out the site. It sounds like something really fun. I think i might try it. its cold here. So i might have to wait for spring. But i'll try to go out now. Thats awesome. thankyou.

hehe the running on that site is great, but i never got paste the first few days :/

I think ill stick to the cycling!

If you have an iPod, iTunes has a podcast called "Podcast for Running" which does the Couch to 5k plan. I just downloaded it today & then saw that you were recommending the website! Weird. Must be fate or something!

Guess I need to get off my bum & do it!

Good luck!

Howdy"FS,

things as you (weightloss wise).Tammy

hey guys, i'm still running, and now i want to do a 10 week training program to prep me for a 5k run...gunna also sign up 4 a race in my town =-) tryin 2 stay on track w/ the cals, usually post them here but then add on more when i get home w/ smoothies, and other sides that increase my intake. the scale started moving again-down to 153.4 yesterday (way to start the feb. challenge!!) and gunna try 2 get it into the 152's by sunday~!

I was running then got shin splints...(last year) I had gotten where I really like running... after seeing the website I too am inspired to run again!!!:D

When are you starting the training program? I think I am going to try again on Monday..

It seems there are a few people who have expressed an interest, do you think this might be a good idea for a "challenge"?

You go girl!!! :D What an awesome idea.

Woot! Running! Good for you - if you build up to it right with that plan it is going to make you feel soooo good! :)

alright guys, sorry for not posting in such a long time...life has become a lot longer!

here is the big news:

I am signing up for the bay to breakers run which is a 12k--for those of us who don't really know what that means...it's about 7 1/2 miles of running through san francisco in a costume of choice (some people go naked!). the marathon (if you so choose to call it) is on May 20th...which leaves me about four months to train for it. I am going to try to train to run it all without walking--we shall see!!

for those of you who have wanted a challenge, I may be up for starting one that is maybe a general 10k (about 6 miles) training program challenge where a schedule of runs will be posted for each week and you will be responsible each for running them. I may start a specific bay to breakers one too for those californian's! but, my boyfriend is going to join me and so is my sister! now i just have to find a program that works!

other than that, my healthy life style is still going strong-i am down to 152--YAY!! and hopefully will keep going. will try to post on everyone's wall tonight-but can't post too much while i'm @ work!

hope you all have a great day!!

Congrats on the 152!! And wonderful that you are training for a run!!! You seem to be doing wonderful!!! Just wanted to say hi and here my jaw dropped!!
